Carlie L.

Normally, I don’t write reviews, but after my experience with Dr. Schambeau, it’s the least I can do for the best dentist in Bessemer, AL! To sum it up, I had an elective procedure but woke up 2 days later with a horrendous toothache. I called Schambeau Dental Care and they fit me in the same day. The office is relaxing and very clean and the staff was fantastic, as was Dr. Schambeau. He gives top-notch patient care, was very helpful and friendly, and was truly looking out for my well-being. Dr. Schambeau actually referred me to a specialist, but he said he’d do what he could until I could see the specialist. I couldn’t have expected a better visit, and I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a good dentist in Bessemer, AL. Thanks for everything and for giving me hope that there are genuine, caring dentists out there.

dental-implants-or-bridge

As adolescents, we lose our baby teeth as our smile develops. However, as adults, losing teeth means poor oral health. Periodontitis is the number one cause. Since losing teeth at adulthood isn’t natural, this means problems. You could have problems eating. Problems speaking clearly may develop. Finally, you could risk negative changes to your smile, or even smile’s stability. You need an excellent private dentist in Roosevelt, AL who can correct your tooth loss. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help you on the road to a full smile.

First, we will connect you to an experienced dentist in your area. Once we do, your new dentist can examine your smile to diagnose the conditions for your missing teeth. For mild cases, a dental bridge could be the best option, providing lifelike results. For several missing teeth, partials could offer a solution and restore bite function. Finally, a complete denture could be custom-made. While most fulls and partials are removable, they could be secured with titanium implants. Dental implants essentially look and function like natural teeth, and preserve bone density in your jawbones and facial structure following losing a tooth.

If you live in the Roosevelt area and need a solution for tooth loss, let us help. We can get you started on receiving a dental prosthetic. Model-worthy teeth are within reach, even if you’ve suffered edentulism, and even if years have elapsed since that happened!

P. S. Please congratulate our dental professionals in Nashville, TN with us this week.

sleep-apnea-treatment

When you have a poor sleeping pattern, you may not think a dentist near you could help. In fact, dentists can often provide a non-invasive solution to help you breathe better while sleeping. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) means that as you sleep, the soft palate and the tissues around the throat collapse and cause you to stop breathing. People literally stop breathing for a few seconds until the brain wakes them. Even as you believe you slept well, you could feel tired! But when should you contact Doctors Network and find Roosevelt, AL dentists who offer OSA treatment?

Signs and symptoms of OSA could include snoring on a nightly basis. Daytime headaches, and even trouble with interpersonal relationships could occur too. Without treatment, OSA could affect your immune system and increase the risk of heart disease. When you notice similar symptoms, consider seeing a dental professional. Sometimes, oral appliance therapy can be helpful to keep airways free of obstruction, so you can finally enjoy a good night’s rest.

This week we are honoring our dentists in New York.

tooth-bonding

If you have a fractured tooth or a tooth that is stained, then you could benefit from a cosmetic consultation. With enameloplasty and tooth-color bonding in Roosevelt, AL, these and other aesthetic imperfections can be treated in one visit. At Doctors Network, we can help connect you with a general dentist in Roosevelt, AL who accepts new patients and provides the comprehensive treatments you need. You may be surprised to discover just how much tooth-colored bondings can correct in only one sitting.

Tooth-colored restoration repairs cosmetic concerns using a metal-free material. The material, a blend of glass-like and acrylic particles, is shaded and applied to the teeth. Roosevelt cosmetic dentists also use the same material to treat tooth decay. During contouring, the dentist actually sands and buffs the outer tooth surfaces to correct your damaged or malformed tooth.

This week we are celebrating our Brooklyn cosmetic dentists. Using these two procedures, these dentists will be able to reshape malformed teeth, tackle dental emergencies, mask teeth stains, and even close gaps between the teeth.

Periodontitis is a common oral health issue. In fact, studies from the CDC reveal that fifty percent of adults over thirty have gum disease. Without treatment, gum disease could cause uncomfortable symptoms. Also known as periodontitis, this is actually the most common cause of adult tooth loss. All that to say, when you develop the symptoms of the disease, you need to see a professional right away. Sore, red gums that bleed easily, along with receding tissues, are common indicators that you need to consult a Roosevelt dental practice.

Doctor Network’s search engine can streamline searching for walk in dentists in Roosevelt AL that accept new patients and can offer a diagnosis after examining your smile. If there is a presence of gingivitis or gum disease, then a treatment plan can be created. For mild or moderate periodontitis, a scaling and root planing followed by traditional cleanings every 3 to 4 months could safeguard the smile. For the later stages of the disease, there are options like gum grafts, laser dentistry, and more to restore your smile!

As children, many of us clench our teeth for short periods of time. The issue tends to last only a few months. But for some, bruxism could mean the issue persists into and throughout adolescence, and the pressure from clenching and grinding your teeth could injure your teeth. Chipped and cracked teeth could change your appearance. You’re also more likely to develop tooth decay or even infected teeth, which is why if you grind your teeth, you should consider using Doctors Network’s search tool to book an appointment with a dentist in Roosevelt.

Your significant other may let you know you grind your teeth in your sleep. Otherwise, symptoms could include jaw pain and tooth sensitivity. Treatment options vary. Some dentists bring relief by addressing the underlying factors. They could correct misalignment with orthodontics, or even replace missing teeth with prosthetics. Many offer treatment with custom and comfortable oral splints. So don’t ignore these symptoms, talk to us about finding the right dentist in your area who accepts private patients.

You can’t put a price on a full smile, but as we get older, most of us struggle with missing teeth. Missing teeth could lead to trouble with eating and speaking, and can even lead to a prematurely aged appearance. To treat tooth loss, people often turn to dental implants. Unlike traditional prosthetics, such as bridges or removable dentures, these are connected to posts inserted into your jaw. Crowns or even prosthetics like dentures are locked into these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but several decades with proper care.

Are you ready to address unsightly gaps with dental implants? If you want to know how much dental implants cost near Roosevelt, you are not alone, but firstly, you should find a Roosevelt dentist who can offer implant dentistry. Doctors Network’s search tool can help you with this, connecting you to a dental professional who not only can address your tooth loss, but also works with walk-in patients. You can even register for a Doctors Network dental plan to decrease the cost of your procedure.

The dentist will take a close look at your smile. Underlying issues such as periodontitis may need to be addressed before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer replacement teeth that look and function like natural teeth!

Over 16% of Alabama residents are over the age of 65, while almost 23% are under the age of 18. For both age groups, personalized dental care is especially important. Older patients often require restoration or prosthodontic care to replace lost teeth; younger patients may need additional ongoing preventive measures, such as orthodontics, to avoid more serious issues later in life. On top of routine general dental care, treatment for seniors and children can cause the costs of your family’s dental care to skyrocket. Fortunately, Doctors Network offers families throughout Alabama a highly affordable alternative to managing dental care costs with a direct dental plan.
