I love Dr. Mehta! It is a small dentist practice in Houston, TX, so I never feel rushed, and they treat you like family here. I always feel comfortable here. They don’t have the best hours, but I have always been able to make an appointment for one or two weeks beforehand. Dr. Mehta is knowledgeable and friendly, and so are his dental tech and assistant. The office is spotless and never too cold or too warm, which is a problem I see a lot of medical offices have. They have large windows that let in a lot of natural light. I’ve already recommended this place to all my friends and family.

Prestigious Smiles Dentistry in Houston, TX is incredible! My fear of the dentist far exceeds any desire to have healthy teeth and gums, which I know sounds crazy. I had been putting off seeing the dentist for so long, but I broke a tooth so I had to get it fixed - about time! Prestigious Smiles Dentistry said they had an opening less than 2 weeks out, so I took it. They took me back after just a few minutes in the lobby, and Dr. Zarghouni looked at it and fixed it right there. I was terrified when she brought the needle out, but it didn’t hurt as bad as I thought it would. Everyone was so considerate, kind, and sympathetic because of my fear. Not only was my tooth broken, but my gums were not looking too good either. They were able to get me an appointment later that same day to work on them. Even though two dentist visits in one day is a bit scary, it wasn’t all that bad. I absolutely recommend them to every dental chicken like me! They aren’t as bad as what you’d think - give them a call!

This is the best dentist near Katy, TX. The staff was nice and polite, and the doctor was professional and knowledgeable. Their top priority here is the patient's’ comfort. The dentist looked me over thoroughly and listened to all my concerns. He was very gentle when doing my exam. He obviously knows what he's doing. Highly recommend this dentist who provides great customer care.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Nguyen at Heritage Dental for over a decade, and I absolutely love this dental office! I always get my general cleanings every 6 months with the best hygienist ever, and I’ve had other work done such as crowns and cavity replacements (replacing silver fillings with white ones). I’m super happy with all the work they’ve done. The receptionist is always very cooperative when it comes to my insurance billing and scheduling and changing my appointments. Things happen, and I sometimes need to change my appointment. I strongly suggest you see them! I don’t live in Katy anymore, but I still make the long drive to see them because they’re worth it! Parking is pretty easy, too. A great experience all around!

Major problems arise when we lose natural teeth. Obviously, there are problems with consuming solid foods. Even talking clearly could be a problem. However, the major problem is the loss of structure in the jaw. This weakens the jaw, and could even cause an older appearance. More importantly, this prevents dental implant placement. Additional treatments could be necessary to strengthen the jaw in order to make dental implant placement possible! Fortunately, Doctors Network could help you find a great Houston oral and maxillofacial surgeon who is in-network with discount dental plans and offers this care. In addition, we could also discuss our membership program to make dental care affordable!

Bone grafting is also referred to as ridge augmentation. Essentially this enables the dentist to rebuild jawbone structure in your mandible. Your dentist could employ new tissue from multiple sources. Tissue could be sourced from the back of the jaw or the hip. Donor materials could also be used. Some opt for synthetic materials. In a surgical procedure, these are applied to the areas of weakened structure in the mandible.

Once the area heals, biocompatible dental implants could be placed. The body will allow them to bond with the jaw. As a result, they help prevent any further breakdown in the jaw, preserving your smile. Our team can connect you to a dentist or oral surgeon in Houston, TX who performs jawbone grafting, and also let you know about our membership plan to make sure your care fits in your budget!

If you have a toothache, or a tooth that is injured, you need treatment. Otherwise, the tooth could develop caries and infections. Soon, there is a risk of not only a lost tooth, but a spread of infection to other areas of the jaw. But sometimes, the damage or cavity is beyond the stage to be treated with a tooth filling or a root canal. Instead, the tooth could require an extraction. At Doctors Network, our team can help you book an online appointment with a private dentist in Houston, TX who can offer a gentle tooth removal as needed.

As we discussed earlier, advanced decay or injury could be why a tooth needs extraction. But a dentist could also remove one that is loosened by periodontal disease. Taking out a tooth could return balance and chewing function. Extraction could also provide room for treatment with braces! In many cases, this could prevent wisdom tooth impaction. Removing wisdom teeth prior to eruption helps preserve the balance and appearance of your smile. For people with advanced tooth loss, removing the last few teeth essentially paves the way for dentures. Your Houston dentist could use the procedure to improve the function, health, and even the beauty of your smile.

Now that you understand when a tooth may need an extraction, how do you seek care for one? Well, as mentioned above Doctors Network can locate a dentist in the Houston, TX area. But if you don’t have a dental plan, you may worry about costs. Fortunately, we have a direct payment plan! Our dental membership plan is opened with an initial fee and maintained with a low monthly cost. For some, this could reduce the cost of care by up to ninety percent!

Tooth loss could lead to several problems for your smile. For example, this could impact your nutritional intake, or how clearly you can articulate. But the most severe complication is the loss of mass and density in the jaw. The body reduces the flow of calcium and phosphate to the areas without teeth, which in turn causes bone loss and an aged appearance and weakens the jaw significantly. Which means you may not be able to receive dental implants to address your missing teeth. But Doctors Network can connect you with a dentist in Houston, TX who can strengthen your smile.

As discussed in previous posts, a jawbone grafting procedure helps strengthen the mandible, so it can support dental implants. But what about the upper arch? Instead of a grafting procedure, your Houston dentist could perform a sinus lift. Essentially, the dentist will raise the sinus floor to generate new bone structure. The new structure can support dental implants. Once the new teeth are secured, this stimulates the growth of bone tissue to preserve the area. Your new teeth can then stay in place for years, possibly even a lifetime.

If you need to strengthen your weakened jawbone to support new teeth, we could help. Our team can connect you with a Houston, TX dentist who can provide these services and takes patients without dental insurance. When your smile is strengthened and ready, dental implants could provide a full smile again. If you don’t have dental insurance, don’t let this stand between you and a complete smile. Instead, talk to our team about our financing option. With a monthly fee, you can have treatments discounted by as much as 90% in some situations. A full smile can happen!

You probably have lots of friends who have had their wisdom tooth pulled and are eager to divulge their experiences to you. While this can be helpful, it is still essential to consult with a dental professional. If you need your wisdom teeth removed, it is best to have a plethora of information at your disposal. This will help you understand what to expect from the procedure and what you should expect from the dentist. Luckily, Doctors Network can help you connect with a great oral surgeon near you in Houston, TX that accepts patients without dental insurance.

The third molars or wisdom teeth are located in the back of your mouth, and there are two on the top and two on the bottom. They most commonly appear between the ages of seventeen and twenty-five. Because they come in later than the rest of your teeth, their arrival can cause issues with your existing ones. They can erupt at odd angles, only partially erupt, or overcrowd your existing teeth. When this happens, they are likely to succumb to bacteria and infections. If any of these situations happen, it can be very painful and can damage your dentition. If you think you might have issues with wisdom teeth, it is important to see a Houston oral surgeon hastily.

If you need wisdom tooth extraction, your doctor will determine how they will go about the procedure to ensure everything goes without complications. They will decide how many of your teeth need to be removed and how complex it could get. They will also determine the appropriate type of anesthesia and the state of your existing vital anatomy such as nerves. Once they ascertain these facts, they can plan your wisdom teeth extraction more easily. When you come in for the procedure, you will receive the appropriate sedation, so you will not feel pain. Your dentist will extract your teeth and pay attention to your needs the entire time to make sure you are doing well. Once your wisdom teeth are removed, you will be provided with information about the recovery period. Fortunately, there are many Houston dentists that accept patients without dental insurance and can adeptly pull your wisdom teeth.

Did you ever notice popping or crackling sound in the jaw? Do you have aching jaw and facial pain? If so, this could be related to a common but serious oral health issue. Around twenty-five million people in the United States suffer from TMJ disorder or bruxism. Without treatment, these could not only cause pain, but actually wear down outer tooth structure! Fortunately, your friends at Doctors Network can help you find a dental office in Houston, TX who accepts private patients.

While very different from one another, these two disorders are often related. TMJ disorder develops when the jaw joints undergo excessive strain. This could cause problems opening and closing the mouth fully. Common symptoms include pain in the head and neck. Bruxism means you clench or grind your teeth in your sleep. The pressure could cause jaw pain. Teeth grinding could also fracture or break your teeth. This damage could lead to decayed teeth, infection, and more. Both disorders could be caused by issues that strain the jaw joints, and untreated TMJ disorder could lead to bruxism, and vice-versa. When you have persistent pain in your head and neck, you should find help. We can even connect you with a dental professional in Houston who accepts private patients.

Treatment options often vary; for some, relief is possible following crown placement, which improves bite balance. For others, treating misalignment with Invisalign could ease strain and stop symptoms. The most common option most dentists offer is an oral appliance, which fits like a night-guard. If you need to find treatment from a Houston dentist. then contact our team!
