dental-implants-or-bridge

As adolescents, we lose our primary teeth as a natural part of growing up. However, in adulthood, losing teeth means poor oral health. Gum disease could be responsible as well. Since missing teeth at adulthood isn’t natural, this means issues with smile stability. You could have problems consuming solid foods. Problems speaking are a common consequence. Finally, you could risk damages to your smile, or even your youthful features. You need an experienced in-network dentist in Oakworth, AL who can correct your tooth loss. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help you on the road to a full smile.

First, we will connect you to a skilled dentist in your area. Once we do, your new dentist can inspect your smile to assess your missing teeth. For minor cases, a dental bridge could be placed, addressing one to three missing teeth in a row. For several gaps, partial dentures could offer a solution and address complicated tooth loss. Finally, a complete denture could be prescribed. While most complete dentures and partial dentures are removable, they could be stablized with dental implants. Dental implants are secured like natural teeth, and preserve bone density in your jaw and facial structure following missing a tooth.

If you live in the Oakworth area and need a solution for tooth loss, let us know. We can help you get started on receiving the tooth replacement you need. Model-worthy teeth are within reach, even if you’ve suffered complete tooth loss, and even if years have elapsed since that happened!

P. S. Please applaud our dental professionals in Nashville, TN with us this week.

sleep-apnea-treatment

When you have a sleep disorder, you may not assume a dentist could help. But in fact, dentists can often provide a comfortable option to help you breathe better while sleeping. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) means that as you sleep, the soft tissues in the throat and the tissues around the throat collapse and interrupt your sleep cycle. Patients literally stop breathing for a few moments until the brain alerts the body to resume breathing. Even if you believe you slept well, you’re actually sleep deprived! But when is it necessary to contact Doctors Network to find Oakworth, AL dentists who could offer treatment with oral appliance therapy?

Sings of OSA could include chronic snoring. Daytime drowsiness, and moodiness could be factors too. With no intervention, OSA could affect your immune system and heart health. When you suffer similar signs, consider talking to a dentist. Often, oral appliance therapy can be used to keep airways free of obstruction, so you can finally enjoy a good night’s rest.

This week we are celebrating our dental professionals near New York.

You can’t put a price on showing off a perfect smile, but as we get older, many of us struggle with missing teeth. Missing teeth could lead to trouble with eating and speaking, and can even lead to an older appearance. To treat missing teeth, people often turn to implant-supported prosthetics. Unlike traditional prosthetics, such as bridges or removable dentures, these are connected to posts placed into your jaw. Crowns or even prosthetics like dentures are securely attached to these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but possibly a lifetime with proper care.

Are you ready to replace missing teeth with dental implants? If you want to know how much a dental implant costs near Oakworth, you are not alone, but firstly, you need to find a Oakworth dentist who can offer prosthetic dentistry. Doctors Network can help you with this, connecting you to a dentist who not only can address your concerns about missing teeth, but also accepts walk-in patients. You can even sign up for a Doctors Network membership plan to decrease the cost of your treatment.

The dentist will carefully examine your smile. Underlying factors may need to be addressed before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer quality prosthetics that look and function like natural teeth!

Over 16% of Alabama residents are over the age of 65, while almost 23% are under the age of 18. For both age groups, personalized dental care is especially important. Older patients often require restoration or prosthodontic care to replace lost teeth; younger patients may need additional ongoing preventive measures, such as orthodontics, to avoid more serious issues later in life. On top of routine general dental care, treatment for seniors and children can cause the costs of your family’s dental care to skyrocket. Fortunately, Doctors Network offers families throughout Alabama a highly affordable alternative to managing dental care costs with a direct dental plan.
