It has been said that if you stretched Wisconsin’s 7,446 miles of streams and rivers end to end, they could circle the globe at the equator. In addition, the state also boasts five state parks and over 250 miles of shoreline along Lake Michigan. Wisconsin’s impressive natural beauty is just one of the state’s many wonders, and only one reason why residents and tourists alike love the Badger State. Now, families have even more reason to love Wisconsin with direct dental plans from Doctors Network. Offered directly through dentists’ offices in Wisconsin, direct dental plans can help the state’s over 5.7 million residents save on all of their dental health care costs. Because the plan works separately from insurance, patients are eligible to join whether or not they already have existing coverage.

With less than 6.6% of people in Wisconsin uncovered by insurance, Wisconsin’s uninsured population is lower than most other states. Yet, even with insurance, many patients are surprised to learn that their coverage doesn’t adequately cover many of the treatments they need or want. Some plans leave people with high out-of-pocket expenses that they cannot afford, rendering the insurance plan useless. With Doctors Network, there are no surprises. The plan covers every treatment that your dentist offers, and follows a predetermined fee schedule that does not change without notice. Regular checkup and cleaning appointments are only $25 per visit, including X-rays, while other treatments (such as fillings, root canal therapy, dental crowns, implants, and more) will always be discounted, sometimes by up to 90%. Everyone can qualify for a direct dental plan regardless of age or the state of their current dental health.

I just moved to Highland Park, IL and needed to find a new local dentist. My friend recommended Dr. Riesberg at Jeffrey E Reisberg DDS, and it was a great experience! There’s a lot of parking, and the office is spotless and beautiful. I love their hours - I didn’t even have to take off of work to get my check up! My first consult was fantastic. Dr. Riesberg ensured I was relaxed and took before/after pictures of my teeth and showed me them after my cleaning. Wow, what a difference! My last cleaning was a few years ago, so I was a little bummed to find out I had a tiny cavity. I just went in for my filling today and was amazed at how fast they worked! It took less than 30 minutes, and Dr. Riesberg did a great job. It was actually relaxing, and I never felt the needle when he injected the numbing medicine, which is usually always horrible. Now, I’m not hoping I have another cavity, but it was one of the best dental experiences I’ve ever had - without a doubt!

You may normally hate the dentist, but you won’t here at Bright Dental. Office is clean, waiting room is well maintained, even the room of death is actually beautiful and calming. Everything I have had done here has been without a hitch. No pain, no stress. I now have the best smile, thanks to Dr. Rehman! Check them out in Milwaukee!

I started coming to Dr. Amante at Amante Dental Center, and I’m so glad I made the change. He is always kind and friendly. I’m so glad I actually found a dentist in Schaumburg I like. The office is spotless and always has a lot of natural light, which made me feel relaxed and definitely less claustrophobic than how I’ve felt at other places when I sit in the chair. Check in was easy and fast, as were x-rays. They were very professional and obviously knew what they were doing. The hygienist did a very thorough cleaning of my teeth, it was the best I’ve ever had. I went in to get fillings done a couple of weeks ago, and those turned out great as well. He made sure that my new bite still worked with my retainers. I had to stay a little bit later for that, but he didn’t seem to mind and I never felt like I was being a problem. I’ve recommended Dr. Amante to all my friends and family who live in Schaumburg, even if they aren’t looking for a new dentist. He’s that good. I wish I had found this place sooner. My teeth look great, better than they ever have. I can’t thank Dr. Amante enough for all they do.

I went to Optima Family Dental in Chicago for the first time today. Last week, I called this office to make a cleaning and exam appointment, but they were booked for a few months. After someone canceled, however, they called me back and asked if I wanted to come in. The staff was so kind, and my hygienist explained everything thoroughly. The consultation with Dr. Yoseph-Anhar went well, and he laid out all my options for some repair dental work I needed done. I’m really pleased with this dentist, and I’m so glad I found my new dentist right off the bat!

What is a root canal?

Root canal therapy, also known as RCT, is a dental service performed to treat infections or damage within the pulp chamber of a tooth. The pulp is the tissue located inside the tooth, and it contains nerves, blood vessels, and connective tissues. When the pulp tissue becomes infected or inflamed due to tooth decay, trauma, or other factors, a root canal treatment may be needed to save the tooth and eliminate pain. Here is how a root canal treatment is performed: 1. Diagnosis and Examination: The first step of the root canal treatment is a complete examination by a general dentist or an endodontist. This typically entails taking X-rays to evaluate the extent of the infection and determine if a root canal is actually needed. Symptoms that may signal the need for a root canal include severe toothache, sensitivity to hot and cold, swelling of the gums or face, or a pimple-like bump on the gum adjacent to the tooth. 2. Local Anesthesia: Before beginning the treatment, the dentist will inject local anesthesia to numb the infected tooth and surrounding soft tissues. This ensures that the patient stays comfortable throughout the treatment. 3. Accessing the Pulp: Once the tooth is numbed, the endodontist will drill a small hole in the top of the tooth, called an access, to reach the infected or inflamed pulp tissue. This allows the dentist to remove the diseased pulp and clean the root canals. 4. Cleaning and Shaping the Root Canals: Using specialized tools, the dentist will remove the infected or damaged pulp from the root canals. The canals are cleaned and shaped to remove the remaining bacteria, debris, and infection. Irrigation with antimicrobial solutions will then disinfect the canals. 5. Filling the Root Canals: After all the canals have been cleaned and shaped (widened), they are filled with a bio-compatible filling material called gutta-percha. This seals off the canals to prevent re-contamination and provides protection for the tooth structure. 6. Sealing the Access Cavity: After the root canals have been filled, the access cavity is covered with a temporary or permanent filling materials to prevent bacteria and debris from entering it and causing an infection. 7. Restoration: Sometimes, a tooth that has undergone root canal therapy may need additional restoration, such as a dental crown (cap), to protect and restore the tooth function. A dental crown is placed on the tooth to restore its natural appearance and functionality. Root canal treatment is very successful in saving teeth that might otherwise need to be extracted because of the infection of the pulp. With proper maintenance and good oral hygiene, a tooth that has gotten a root canal can function normally for years or even decades, allowing patients to preserve their natural smiles.

It was so easy to find a doctor and make an appointment. I didn't have to take hours to call different offices and find out who takes my insurance and who doesn't.

I'm a freelancer, so I can't buy insurance easily, so I always ended up paying a lot for doctors' visits. I signed up for a Doctors Network dental plan, and my dental cleanings cost only $25 now. If you don't have dental insurance I highly recommend it.

I fell off my bike and chipped my front tooth. I was able to find and book an appointment online right away. Next time I need an appointment I'll try Doctors Network again.
