I love Dr. Yoseph-Anhar and his staff at Optima Family Dental. I’ve been going to them for years because of their excellent service and the fact that they treat you like their own family. Their office in Chicago, IL is beautiful and parking isn’t half bad either. The waiting room of spacious yet cozy at the same time, and they have the best dental hygienists in the city! I’ve never had a negative experience. Thank you!

I’ve been going to Optima Family Dental in Lincolnwood ever since my neighbor referred me to them years ago, and I’m so glad she did! The office staff is so kind and practical. My insurance provider claimed that a procedure I needed was only cosmetic, but Dr. Yoseph dealt with them to get it covered. They really care about every patient, so if you’re looking for a new dentist, check them out!

I’ve been going to Winnetka Dental Care for about four years, and Dr. Raghian and his staff are always inviting and competent. They’re careful, which I value very much, and they do their xrays right there in the office, which is nice. They have TVs to distract you, and so far, I haven’t needed anything beyond a routine cleaning. Go teeth! They also give you some dental essentials after your appointment, and I like that because it gives me a chance to figure out which toothpastes I like before buying a big tube. Parking in Winnetka, IL isn’t terrible, either.

I was living overseas for a year and just returned home to Lisle, IL. I didn’t have insurance, but I got a great deal on x-rays, an exam, and a cleaning at Lisle Dental Center. Booking an appointment was so easy, and the receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. I parked nearby and walked in. The office is really easy to find, and since I was the first patient of the day, they were right on time. Everybody I met was inviting, and the hygienist was caring and made sure I was alright throughout the whole thing. I typically hate doing x-rays because the things they always put in your mouth cut me, but she used smaller ones that fit so much better in my mouth so that I didn’t get cut! There wasn’t anything wrong with my teeth, so I only talked to Dr. Amante briefly. He was very kind, too, though. I’ve only had the one cleaning here, so I’m not sure how everything else is. So far, I love it and will for sure be coming back!

I’m so happy I found Dr. Kamal. I had a filling fall out, which if you’ve had that happen you know it causes a lot of really bad tooth pain. I called the office early and they were able to get me in that same day. After my x-rays Dr. Kamal recommended the best procedure to fix it. I told her that I didn’t have insurance, but she said that wasn’t a problem and informed me about the Doctors Network plan. They extracted the tooth for a very low price of $100.00. I’ve had other dentists in Lisle, IL tell me extractions cost at least $600, but not Dr. Kamal. I was a little nervous about how much pain I would be in but she numbed me up so I didn’t feel a thing. I couldn’t believe how easy it all was. I didn’t feel a thing, and she extracted everything very fast. She made me feel very comfortable; she’s very friendly. I can’t thank Dr. Kamal and her wonderful office staff enough. I look forward to being a patient here for the rest of my life.

Jeffrey E Riesberg DDS (Highland Park, IL) is the best dentist near me! They made me and my husband feel comfortable and put us at ease. Dr. Riesberg is careful, comprehensive, and very efficient. I thought I needed two dental crowns, but Dr. Riesberg actually fixed my teeth instead. He isn’t just a fantastic dentist - he really understands how expensive major dental work can be and that not everyone can afford it. The staff is just as welcoming and skilled, and I’ve never felt so relaxed at a dentist office before! My dental anxiety is nearly cured! They’ve consistently done a great job, and I’m one happy patient! I highly recommend everyone try them - you will love it!

A lot happens to our smile when we lose natural teeth. Obviously, there are problems with eating a variety of meals. Even clear speech could be a problem. However, the major problem is the loss of structure in the jaw. This weakens the jaw, and could even cause an older appearance. More importantly, this limits dental implant placement. Additional treatments could be necessary to strengthen the jaw in order to prepare the gum for dental implants! Fortunately, Doctors Network could help you book an online appointment with a great Chicago dentist who is in-network with Doctors Network Dental Plan and offers jawbone grafting. In addition, we could also discuss our membership plan to make dental care affordable!

Jawbone grafting is also referred to as ridge augmentation. Essentially this enables the dentist to restore the lost structure in your gums. Your dentist could use a number of different options. We could take tissue from the back of the jaw or the hip. Donor materials such as freeze-dried bovine bone particles may be recommended too. We could also recommend synthetic materials. In a surgical procedure, these are applied to the areas of weakened structure in the lower jawbone.

Once the area heals, biocompatible dental implants could be placed. The body will accept them as natural roots. As a result, they help prevent any further breakdown in the jaw, protecting facial structure. Our team can connect you to a dentist in Chicago, IL who performs jawbone grafting, and also let you know about our membership plan to make sure your treatment fits your budget!

If you have a toothache, or a tooth that is chipped, you need dental care. Otherwise, the tooth could develop caries and infections. Soon, there is a risk of not only a lost tooth, but a spread of infection to other teeth. But sometimes, the issue is beyond the stage to be treated with a tooth filling or a root canal. Instead, the tooth could require an extraction. At Doctors Network, our team can help you book a visit with a skilled dentist in Chicago, IL who can offer a effective tooth removal as needed.

As we discussed earlier, advanced decay or injury could be why a tooth needs extraction. But a dentist could also remove one that is loosened by gum disease. Extracting a tooth could improve bite balance and chewing function. Extraction could also provide room for correcting misalignment! In many cases, this could prevent complications from wisdom teeth. Removing wisdom teeth prior to eruption helps preserve the balance and overall esthetics. For people with advanced tooth loss, removing the last few teeth essentially paves the way for full or partial dentures. Your Chicago general dentist could use this to improve the function, health, and even the beauty of your smile.

Now that you understand when and why a tooth may require removal, how do you seek care for one? Well, as mentioned above Doctors Network can find a general dentist in the Chicago, IL area. But if you don’t have a dental plan, you may worry about the cost. Fortunately, we have a payment plan! Our dental membership plan is opened with an initial fee and maintained with a small fee each month. For some, this could reduce the cost of care by up to 90 percent!

Tooth loss could lead to multiple complications for your smile. For example, this could impact your meal options, or how clearly you can speak. But the most serious complication is the loss of mass and density in the jaw. The body suspends the flow of calcium, phosphate, and other minerals to the areas without teeth, which in turn causes bone loss and an aged appearance and weakens the jaw significantly. Which means you may not be able to receive dental implants to address your missing teeth. But Doctors Network can connect you with a dentist in Chicago, IL who can shore up your jaw.

As discussed in previous posts, a jawbone grafting procedure helps strengthen the mandible, so it can support dental implants. But what about the upper arch? Instead of grafting, your Chicago dentist could perform a sinus lift. Basically, the dentist will raise the sinus floor to induce the formation of new support structure. The new structure can support one or more implants. Once the new teeth are secured, this stimulates the growth of bone tissue to keep your jaw secure. Your new teeth then last for decades to come, possibly even a lifetime.

If you need to strengthen your weakened jawbone to support one or more dental implants, we could help. Our team can connect you with a Chicago, IL oral surgeon who can provide these services and takes new patients. When your smile is strengthened and ready, dental implants could provide a full smile again. If you don’t have insurance, don’t let this stand between you and optimal oral health. Instead, talk to our team about our monthly membership plan. With a monthly fee, you can have treatments discounted by as much as 90% in some situations. A full smile is in your future!

You probably know many people who have had their wisdom tooth removed and are eager to divulge their experiences to you. While this can be helpful, it is still necessary to consult with a professional. If you need these teeth removed, it is best to have a plethora of information at your disposal. This will help you understand what to expect from wisdom teeth extraction and what you should expect from the dentist. Luckily, Doctors Network can help you connect with a great oral surgeon near you in Chicago, IL that accepts new patients.

Wisdom teeth are located in the back of the mouth, and there is one on each quadrant. They typically appear between seventeen and twenty-five. Because wisdom teeth are the last teeth to erupt, their presence can cause issues with your existing ones. They can erupt at odd angles, only partially come in, or overcrowd your current teeth. When this occurs, they are likely to succumb to bacteria and infections. If any of these conditions take place, it can be very uncomfortable and can damage your teeth. If you think you might have complications with wisdom teeth, it is important to see a Chicago oral surgery practice quickly.

If you do need wisdom tooth removal, your doctor will determine how they will go about the procedure to make sure everything goes without complications. They will decide how many of your teeth need to be removed and how complex it will be. They will also determine the appropriate type of anesthesia and the condition of your existing teeth. Once they ascertain these facts, they can extract your wisdom teeth more easily. When you come in for the procedure, you will receive the appropriate anesthesia, so you will not experience pain. Your dentist will extract your teeth and pay attention to your needs the entire time to make sure you are ok. Once your wisdom teeth are removed, you will be provided with information about the recovery period. Fortunately, there are many Chicago dentists that accept new patients and can effectively extract your wisdom teeth.

Have you ever noticed popping or cracking when you open your mouth? Do you have persistent migraines? If so, this could be related to a common but serious oral health issue. Around twenty-five million people in the United States suffer from TMD and teeth grinding. Without treatment, these could not only lead to painful symptoms, but actually wear down outer tooth structure! Fortunately, your friends at Doctors Network can help you find a dentist in Chicago, IL who accepts self-pay patients.

While very different from one another, these two disorders are often related. TMJ disorder develops when the the temporomandibular joints become strained. This could cause problems with jaw function. Common symptoms include pain in the face, head and neck, and jaw. Bruxism means you clench or grind your teeth in your sleep. The pressure could cause headaches and jaw pain. Teeth grinding could also weaken and damage the tooth structure. This damage could lead to decay, infection, and more. Both disorders could be caused by issues that cause bite imbalance, and untreated TMJ disorder could cause bruxism, and vice-versa. When you have chronic pain in your head and neck, you should find help. We can even connect you with a dental professional in Chicago who accepts self-pay patients.

There are, however, multiple treatment options available; for some, relief is possible following dental bonding, which improves bite balance. For others, treating misalignment with orthodontic treatment could ease strain and stop symptoms. The most common option offered by most dentists is an oral appliance, which fits like a night-guard. If you need to find treatment from a Chicago dentist. then contact our team!

While the costs for biannual dental checkups and cleanings are usually manageable for an individual, they can pile up quickly for families, especially without insurance coverage. Those costs are even higher when young children need corrective treatment, such as early orthodontics, or older patients need to replace lost teeth or undergo oral surgery. The good news is that direct dental plans help patients in Illinois, and across the country, save substantially on all forms of dental health care. With preventive checkups and cleanings as low as $25 per visit, families have a greater chance of reducing dental health costs by avoiding serious dental issues. Other treatments, including tooth fillings, crowns, teeth-whitening, veneers, Invisalign®, and more, will be reduced by up to 90%.
