Dr. Therese Singson Miranda is passionate about providing individualized care to each of her patients. Patients of Dr. Miranda are of many ages, come from very different backgrounds, and can all expect gentle, top-quality care when they enter her office. She specializes in many areas of general dentistry including dental implants and orthodontics, so she can offer her patients a wide variety of treatments. Dr. Miranda attended the University of Texas Health Science Center to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She has a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Centro Escolar University in the Philippines. Before becoming a dentist, she spent four years working as a dental hygienist. She has been a practicing dentist for over 18 years. When she is not treating patients in the office, Dr. Miranda is teaching the next generation of dentists at Texas Dental Assisting Academy. Dr. Miranda is an active member of the American Dental Implant Association, the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the San Antonio Dental District Society.

Dr. Behmanesh was raised in Canada, where she achieved an Honors Bachelor of Science in Biology and French. She then moved to New York University to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Following her time at NYU, she joined UCLA for a residency in advanced dentistry. In 2010, she fell in love with Austin during a visit and decided to make it her home.

In her free time, Dr. Behmanesh enjoys jogging along the Lady Bird Trail, spending quality moments with her family, traveling, and practicing photography.

She is dedicated to ongoing education, taking numerous advanced courses each year to enhance her skills and better meet her patients' dental care needs while ensuring a soothing and pleasant experience. Dr. Sam Bsoul has been a practicing dentist and educator for over 20 years. Much of his career was spent providing comprehensive dental care to patients with complex cases at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. It was there that Dr. Bsoul earned his Master of Science degree and completed Oral Medicine and Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology Dental Diagnostic Sciences certificate programs. He was an Assistant Professor at the university as well, teaching dental students about treatment planning, oral radiology, and oral diagnosis. Today, Dr. Bsoul is a practicing dentist with Texas Star Dental Center.

Dr. Bsoul earned his DDS degree in 1993 before continuing on to UTHSCSA. Throughout his career, he has published numerous dental articles in medical journals circulated internationally. He is an active member of the Texas Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Oral Medicine, the San Antonio Dental Society, and the American Academy of Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology.

After serving as the associate dentist at South Austin Family Dental for nearly twelve years, Dr. Shelby Knight took the next step in his career by purchasing the practice in January 2020. As an associate, he had the opportunity to build strong, lasting connections with his patients, and he truly appreciates the trust they invest in his skills and decisions.

Dr. Knight earned his undergraduate degree from Southwestern University in Georgetown and completed his dental degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio Dental School in 2008. Residing in South Austin, he enjoys listening to live music, collecting vinyl records, woodworking, and traveling. He is particularly excited to be working alongside his sister, Dr. Miranda Torrey.

Dr. Meek completed his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at Trinity University in San Antonio before pursuing his doctorate at the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental School, which is highly regarded as one of the top dental schools in the nation.

In 1997, he partnered with Dr. David Tasch to establish their dental practice in Austin, TX, with a steadfast commitment to quality in all procedures. From the start of his career, Dr. Meek has had his dental training focused on implant dentistry, handling cases prepared by the previous periodontist.

In 2012, Dr. Meek was honored with Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry in Philadelphia, a distinction that requires five years of AGD membership, over 500 hours of continuing education, and successful completion of a certification exam.

From a young age, Dr. Ryan Loveless felt drawn to dentistry, having spent his childhood in his father’s dental office.He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University and later attended the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston for dental school. Dr. Loveless has a genuine passion for his work, enjoying the opportunity to treat both children and adults. His aim is to ensure that every dental visit is a pleasant dental experience. Committed to staying abreast of the latest technology and techniques, he dedicates significant time to continuing education. Over the years, he has also participated in several dental-based mission trips known as Texas Mission of Mercy, serving his fellow Texans.

Dr. Loveless and his wife, Lauren, are the proud parents of four wonderful boys: Michael, Miles, Andrew, and Mason. He often humorously remarks that at the end of the day, he is heading home to his “real job.”

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Loveless is an enthusiastic golfer who enjoys tackling the challenging courses around Austin. However, his true passion lies in fishing. Whether he's catching largemouth bass on beautiful Lake Austin or fly fishing for redfish along the pristine Texas coast, Dr. Ryan finds immense joy in his fishing adventures.
