Christine J.

Thanks r. Kashat-Mansour! I don’t know the last time I ever thanked a dentist, but Dr. Kashat-Mansour and her staff at Neighborhood Family Dentistry deserve the praise! I chipped my tooth on vacation, but when I returned home, my usual dentist was out of the office. So I went to see someone else in Madison Heights, MI, who referred me to Dr. Kashat-Mansour. Thanks to her great work, she’s earned my loyalty! I was afraid at first because she said I needed both my bottom back molars removed as well as one top molar. Because I knew I needed to be anesthetized, I was utterly terrified and sobbing. But Dr. Kashat-Mansour and her staff really calmed my nerves and made me feel better. They sat me down, told me what to expect and then I was out. I woke up about a half hour later. Last year, I had one tooth removed, and it was so painful and caused so much swelling. It’s my second day post-op from Dr. Kashat-Mansour, and I’m impressed with how great I feel. I have just a little swelling and a little soreness in my jaw and extraction sites. I’m amazed at Dr. Kashat-Mansour’s work. She knows her stuff and knows how to make the procedure as fast and painless as possible, including during post-op recovery! Thank you so much! If I ever need another big dental procedure, I’m going to Neighborhood Family Dentistry in Madison Heights!

When winter ends, people start going out more and enjoying the beautiful weather, and of course, we want an attractive smile when we socialize, which is why many people seek cosmetic dentistry. Cosmetic dentistry refers to procedures designed purely to correct common esthetic issues. Teeth stains can be removed, and teeth crowding or gaps between the teeth can be corrected with braces. We want to help connect you to Ann Arbor dentists who take on patients who have no insurance and can offer the range of treatment needed to achieve a perfect smile.

You can start cosmetic treatments with a cosmetic consultation with your dentist in Ann Arbor, MI. The doctor will carefully identify the factors behind your cosmetic issues. Using digital technology for a precise diagnosis, the dentist will assess the cause of your cosmetic concerns in order to come up with a personalized treatment plan. For stains, professional teeth whitening could remove discolorations. Dental bonding and contouring can repair teeth and mask imperfections in one visit. Gum contouring utilizes laser technology to reshape the gum line and correct gummy smiles. Porcelain veneers are thin restorations that change a tooth’s shape and color, and for those with malocclusion, Invisalign® may be possible.

It is important for children to visit a pediatric dentist on a semiannual basis for exams and cleanings. By teaching your children great oral health habits, you are ensuring that they have the tools to have healthy smiles for life. If you are looking for a dentist in Ann Arbor who takes patients with no dental insurance, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering biannual dental checkups and cleanings, dentists on Doctors Network also provide your little children with dental sealants. These are thin pieces of film that go over their molars. They work as a protective film that forms a barrier between their adult molars and harmful bacteria. This ultimately prevents the risk of decay by up to 80%. It is a simple procedure that is very effective at preventing the need for fillings in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another great tool that your pediatric dentists provide. Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral that helps strengthen your children’s teeth. While enamel is one of the strongest substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your little one’s teeth become more susceptible to decay. Fluoride treatment helps stop decay from occurring. Using high-fluoride toothpaste can also help. To learn more, we invite you to schedule an appointment with one of our pediatric dentists in Ann Arbor.

Many people would prefer to have a whiter smile. When you venture down the aisles of any pharmacy, you see countless products that promote their teeth whitening abilities. If you have tried any of these, you know that they almost always provide disappointing results. However, professional tooth whitening can actually give you a brighter smile. If you are looking for a dentist in Ann Arbor, MI that takes self-pay patients, we can help you find one that offers professional teeth whitening.

When you visit your Ann Arbor dental practice, they can provide you with either an in-office or even at-home treatment. Should you opt for treatment in the office, you will only have to stay for roughly an hour. For this option, your dentist will apply a gel solution to your teeth that they will then activate with a special light, to remove stains.

If you would prefer to go with an at-home treatment, your dentist will give you a set of custom trays that you can fill up with a safe bleaching or peroxide solution. You will put these on for a couple of hours each day for about 2 weeks. Once this treatment is done, you will have a brighter smile. If you would like to schedule a consultation online with a Ann Arbor dentist that accepts self-pay patients, we can help you find the best ones.

If it has been at least half a year since you last saw a dentist, you probably should schedule a consultation as soon as possible. When you go in for bi-yearly visits, your dentist can thoroughly examine your mouth to make sure nothing is amiss. This helps prevent carious lesions from occurring, minimizing the chance of needing more expensive procedures down the road. If you need to schedule an appointment with a dentist in Ann Arbor, MI that takes patients with no insurance we can help you find a great office.

When you visit your dentist for a checkup, they will start with a thorough cleaning. This will remove built-up that is difficult to remove at home — even with fantastic brushing and flossing habits. The cleaning will leave your mouth feeling rejuvenated and fresh.

Once your cleaning is completed, your Ann Arbor dentist will begin his or her examination. During this portion of your appointment, the dentist will thoroughly look at your mouth to identify any potential problems. Should they notice something awry, they can suggest the proper treatment. The Ann Arbor dental practice we set you up with will offer a wide range of services to address a variety of dental complications. When you visit the dentist consistently they can keep track of the health of your smile. If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment with a dentist that accepts patients with no insurance, we can help you find a great one.

Michigan may be best known as home to Motor City—the common nickname for Detroit, which was the center of America’s automotive boom. However, it is also known for being the only state to touch all four of the Great Lakes, giving the state 3,100 miles of freshwater coastline—more than any other state or province in the world. Michigan is home to over 9.9 million people, and helping them all maintain a healthy quality of life has always been a priority for dental health experts who call the state home. With Doctors Network, dentists can now offer patients the high-quality professional dental care they deserve at drastically reduced prices, making it easier for families in Michigan to take good care of their smiles.

Staying ahead of the curve has always been Michigan’s thing. In today’s world of rising dental health care costs, that means finding ways to keep the quality of care high while minimizing costs for average families. Doctors Network helps local dentists solve that problem by offering direct dental plans to all of their patients. Unlike dental insurance, a direct dental plan gives you access to substantial discounts on every treatment that your dentist offers. This includes everything from preventive checkups and cleanings that only cost $25 per visit to more involved cosmetic, restorative, and prosthetic procedures that are discounted by up to 90%. For the seven percent of patients in Michigan who do not have insurance, a direct dental plan can be the best way to make dental care more affordable for the whole family. For patients who already have insurance, the plan can help ensure that they are not left with exorbitant out-of-pocket expenses, even for elective procedures like porcelain veneers, Invisalign® clear aligners, dental implants, and more.
