His staff is very warm and clearly good at what they do. It took me years to find a dentist who didn’t try to talk me into getting a deep cleaning. Since those aren’t covered by my dental insurance, I didn’t want it, but a few dentists insisted. I went along with it, but it left me with yellow, pitted teeth. After looking at my teeth, Dr. Nguyen questioned why they ever wanted to do a deep cleaning to begin with. Though the other dentists damaged my teeth, he told me he would make my smile as good as new. And after about a half hour of brushing and scraping, my teeth looked white again! My bank account and my mouth were very pleased! Not only are they great, but they’re always so timely. I’ve never had to wait for my appointments!

Dr. Lam Hoang discovered his passion for dentistry during his youth in Vietnam. He put this passion on hold after making the move to the United States, choosing to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering instead. After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Houston, he worked as an electrical engineer for a few years but quickly realized that dentistry was his true calling. He attended the University of Texas Dental Branch where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2001. He graduated valedictorian. That same year, he completed a postgraduate orthodontics training program at the University of Texas Health Science Center that inspired him to go back to dental school and earn a Master of Science degree in 2003.

I love Dr. Mehta! It is a small dentist practice in Houston, TX, so I never feel rushed, and they treat you like family here. I always feel comfortable here. They don’t have the best hours, but I have always been able to make an appointment for one or two weeks beforehand. Dr. Mehta is knowledgeable and friendly, and so are his dental tech and assistant. The office is spotless and never too cold or too warm, which is a problem I see a lot of medical offices have. They have large windows that let in a lot of natural light. I’ve already recommended this place to all my friends and family.
