I’d heard an advertisement on the radio and decided to give Dr. Hassid a shot. The ad said to come in no matter how scared of the dentist you were, and I have an extreme phobia. I needed my teeth cleaned and even some teeth extracted. Dr. Hassid did a double root canal, a couple bridges, and some implants. The receptionist staff was kind and everyone here was very helpful, from the office staff, to the dentist, to the dental assistants. They were all very knowledgeable and friendly. I felt like family coming here, and anyone in the area should check them out.

But Dr. Afridi’s dental practice is the best of both worlds. The staff is so friendly and kind, and the super-professional hygienists put your comfort first. The receptionist/bookkeeper always helps me navigate my insurance and what I owe as well as scheduling appointments. All the great reviews are true. Though I did wait a little bit, I’ve had to wait longer at other places, and I guarantee they only made me wait because patients weren’t coming in on time, which will push back all the other appointments after it. Or maybe Dr. Afridi was tending to an emergency and wanted to make sure his patient was being taken care of. I would happily wait a long time if needed just to get the high level of service and dental care this place has to offer, knowing that once I get in the dental chair, they won’t rush me out to keep on schedule. I’d been experiencing a severe toothache for a couple weeks so I decided to come here even though I didn’t have insurance. They were still willing to work with me and all for an affordable price. I’ve been really particular about who my dentist is in the past, but I took a chance on these guys and I’m so glad I did. I usually like a woman to do my dental work, I feel like they’re more gentle, but Dr. Solanki did my root canal and a temporary crown, and I was very impressed. I’ve had multiple root canals done in the past and this was the easiest, fastest, most painless root canal ever! I couldn’t believe it. I can’t recommend this place enough to others in Philadelphia, I’m looking forward to finishing up my work.
