The staff at Neighborhood Family Dentistry in Madison Heights, MI is amicable and intelligent. I love that they were honest and gave me all my options. The receptionist was supportive and made sure my work knew I would be out for a few days because of the procedure. Surgery day went by really fast. Everyone was doing their best, which made it a seamless experience, and it all went so quickly that I didn’t even have time to worry about needles or anything. I’m pretty impressed. I’m also thankful for the staff and Dr. Kashat-Mansour for making it a positive, easy experience. I’m recovering quite well, and I feel good knowing that I can call them if I need anything.

dental-implants-or-bridge

As kids, we lose our primary teeth as a natural part of growing up. However, in adulthood, losing teeth is caused by oral health issues. Gum disease leads to major tooth loss. Since missing teeth at adulthood isn’t natural, this means issues with smile stability. You could have difficulties eating. Problems talking are a common consequence. Finally, you could risk negative changes to your smile, or even your youthful features. You need a permanent private dentist in Midwest, MI who can correct your tooth loss. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help locate one.

First, we will help connect you to an awesome dentist near you. After that, your new dentist can inspect your smile to diagnose the conditions for your tooth loss. For less severe cases, a dental bridge could be placed, addressing one to three lost teeth in a row. For several gaps, partials could offer a solution and restore bite function. Finally, a complete denture or CD could be prescribed. While most complete dentures and partials are removable, they could be supported with multiple dental implants. Dental implants essentially look and function like natural teeth, and preserve bone density in your mandible and maxilla and facial structure following tooth loss.

If you live in the Midwest‘s neighborhoods and need a solution for tooth loss, let us help. We can help you get started on receiving bridges or dentures. Model-worthy teeth are within reach, even if you’ve lost all of your teeth, and even if years have gone by since that happened!

P. S. Please congratulate our dental professionals in Nashville, TN with us this week.

sleep-apnea-treatment

When you experience a sleep disorder, you may not assume a dentist could help. But in fact, dentists can often provide a non-invasive option to help you breathe better while sleeping. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) means that when you sleep, the soft tissues in the throat and the back of your mouth collapse and interrupt your sleep cycle. People literally stop breathing for a few moments until the brain wakes them. Even if you assume you slept well, you could feel tired! But when is it time to talk to Doctors Network and find Midwest, MI dentists who could offer treatment with oral appliance therapy?

Symptoms of sleep apnea include loud and frequent snoring. Daytime drowsiness, and even irritability could be factors too. Without treatment, the condition could strain your immune system and increase the risk of high blood pressure. When you experience similar signs and symptoms, consider seeing a dental professional. Sometimes, oral appliance therapy can be used to keep air passages clear while you sleep, so you can finally rest without sleep apnea symptoms.

This week we are honoring our dental care providers near Manhattan, NY.

There is no substitute for showing off a perfect smile, but as we get older, many of us struggle with the loss of natural teeth. Missing teeth could lead to trouble with eating and speaking, and can even lead to bone loss in the jaw. To treat missing teeth, people often turn to implant-supported prosthetics. Unlike traditional prosthetics, such as dentures or bridges, these are connected to posts inserted into your jaw. Crowns or even prosthetics like bridges are locked into these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but several decades with proper care.

Are you ready to replace missing teeth with dental implants? If you want to know how much a dental implant costs in Midwest, you are not alone, but first, you should find a Midwest dentist who can offer implant dentistry. Doctors Network’s search tool can help you with this, connecting you to a dentist who not only can address your concerns about missing teeth, but also accepts patients without dental insurance. You can even sign up for a Doctors Network dental plan to decrease the cost of your treatment.

The dentist will assess the state of your smile. Underlying issues such as periodontitis may need to be considered before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer quality prosthetics that look and function like natural ones!

Michigan is home to over 9.9 million people, and helping them all maintain a healthy quality of life has always been a priority for dental health experts who call the state home. With Doctors Network, dentists can now offer patients the high-quality professional dental care they deserve at drastically reduced prices, making it easier for families in Michigan to take good care of their smiles.

In today’s world of rising dental health care costs, that means finding ways to keep the quality of care high while minimizing costs for average families. Doctors Network helps local dentists solve that problem by offering direct dental plans to all of their patients. Unlike dental insurance, a direct dental plan gives you access to substantial discounts on every treatment that your dentist offers. This includes everything from preventive checkups and cleanings that only cost $25 per visit to more involved cosmetic, restorative, and prosthetic procedures that are discounted by up to 90%. For the seven percent of patients in Michigan who do not have insurance, a direct dental plan can be the best way to make dental care more affordable for the whole family. For patients who already have insurance, the plan can help ensure that they are not left with exorbitant out-of-pocket expenses, even for elective procedures like porcelain veneers, Invisalign® clear aligners, dental implants, and more.
