Elizabeth D.

Dr. Kashat-Mansour took my wisdom teeth out a few months ago, and it was a fantastic experience. She thoroughly answered any questions and told me what would happen. Plus, it was pretty painless! I only took the pain meds for a few days, and the sockets had healed perfectly in a few weeks. Sadly, I got the flu a few days after the surgery, which I thought was a post-op infection. However, Dr. Kashat-Mansour reassured me and addressed any concerns I had. If I ever need another oral surgery, I will definitely go to Neighborhood Family Dentistry in Madison Heights, MI!

When a tooth becomes infected, treatment is required. Lack of treatment means the tooth could become necrotic. At this stage, the tooth might require extraction. Otherwise, the infection moves into surrounding teeth. If posible, a better treatment for an infected tooth is root canal therapy. This procedure is effective, but sometimes a root canalled tooth becomes infected again and requires additional care. You may need to book an appointment with one of our knowledgeable Detroit dentists or endodontists for further treatments.

A root canal involves removing the tissues from inside of the tooth. The interiors and root canals are thoroughly cleaned, and a restorative material known as gutta-percha is then applied to the interior. Usually, the tooth is then capped with a dental crown. The restoration is often custom-made to protect the tooth and also blend with the smile. But if the procedure does not go as expected, the prognosis of the condition could be questionable. The tooth could begin developing symptoms, such as toothaches and pain when eating. If you experience discomfort, do not risk the loss of your teeth. Doctors Network can connect you with a dentist in Detroit, MI that can offer retreatment and accepts new patients.

If you don’t have dental coverage don’t let that discourage you! Doctors Network can offer a membership plan to make dental care budget-friendly. With a simple monthly rate, you can undergo necessary root canal retreatment at a reasonable cost!

When a tooth is severely damaged, it could become an abscessed tooth. The presence of abscess means serious discomfort, and without intervention, it could lead to missing teeth. This is why your tooth may need root canal therapy. Fortunately, there are options available to bring relief. Our network can help connect you to a Detroit dental office for root canal therapy. We can also help find a restorative dentist that accepts private patients.

A dental abscess means that harmful anaerobic bacteria have made contact with sensitive tooth structure. The pulp is the nerve center of the tooth, and it ensures a functional tooth. Lack of intervention for an abscess could allow serious discomfort. A common warning sign of trouble could include pain when eating. Don’t ignore a potential symptom. Talk to our team about finding a Detroit dentist skilled in performing root canals who accepts private patients and other dental insurance plans.

A root canal procedure is a restorative dental treatment that can be completed in one sitting. Essentially, after the root canal specialist examines the tooth, the diseased pulp tissues are removed from within. The interior of the tooth is cleaned, and a restorative filling is added. The last step involves capping the tooth with a custom-made dental crown. The cap is designed to protect the tooth and look natural. This procedure prevents tooth loss.

Good dental hygiene habits can help lower your risk of future tooth decay and dental infections. Checkups and cleanings help as well. If you’re looking for root canal therapy in Detroit for dental infection, talk to Doctors Network or request an online appointment. You have options, and we know how to find practices that accept private patients.

It is essential for your little ones to visit a dental professional bi-yearly for checkups and cleanings. By teaching your kids preventative measures to protect their teeth, you are ensuring that they have the tools to have healthy smiles for ever. If you are looking for a dental office in Detroit who takes patients with no dental coverge, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering exams and cleanings, dentists on Doctors Network also provide your little one with protective sealants. These are small pieces of BPA-free acrylic that dentists paint onto their molars. They work as a protective film that forms a protective layer between their adult teeth and germs. This ultimately prevents the risk of decay by up to eighty percent. It is a simple treatment that is very effective at preventing cavities on adult teeth in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another proven tool that your dentists provide. Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral that helps fortify your children’s enamel. While enamel is one of the strongest substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your kid’s teeth become more susceptible to decay. Fluoride treatment prevents this from happening. Using fluoride toothpaste can also help. To learn more, please schedule an appointment with one of our network dental professionals in Detroit.

Many individuals would be ecstatic to have a whiter smile. When you stroll down the aisles of any pharmacy, you see numerous products that tout their teeth whitening abilities. If you have used any of these, you know that they almost always provide disappointing results. However, professional tooth bleaching can actually give you a brighter smile. If you are looking for a dentist in Detroit, MI that works with patients without dental insurance, we can help you find one that offers professional teeth whitening.

When you visit your Detroit dental care provider, they can provide you with either an at-home or in-office treatment option. With the in-office option, you will typically be out within about an hour, and you will have noticeably whiter teeth. When you visit the office for whitening, your dentist will apply a special bleaching gel that, when activated by a special light, will get rid of stains.

If you would prefer to choose whitening at home, your dentist will give you a set of custom trays that you can fill with a safe peroxide or bleaching solution. You will put these on for one or two hours each day for approximately two weeks. Once this treatment is done, you will have a brighter smile. If you would like to schedule a visit online with a Detroit dentist that accepts patients without dental insurance, we can help you find a great one.

If it has been over six months since you last went to a dentist, you probably should schedule a consultation soon. When you go in for bi-annual checkups, your dentist can closely examine your smile to make sure nothing is amiss. This helps prevent caries from occurring, minimizing the chance of needing more expensive procedures at a later time. If you need to schedule a checkup with a dentist in Detroit, MI that accepts individuals without dental insurance we can help you find a great match.

To begin your visit, a hygienist will clean your teeth thoroughly. This will remove built-up that is hard to remove at home — even with great brushing and flossing habits. The dental cleaning will leave your smile feeling rejuvenated.

Once your cleaning is over, your Detroit dentist will begin his or her examination. During this portion of your appointment, the dentist will thoroughly look at your mouth to identify any potential problems. If they find anything amiss, they can suggest the proper treatment. The Detroit dental practice we set you up with will offer a myriad of services to address a variety of dental needs. If you visit the dentist regularly they can keep track of the health of your mouth. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a visit with a dentist that works with individuals without dental insurance, we can help you find a great one.

Michigan may be best known as home to Motor City—the common nickname for Detroit, which was the center of America’s automotive boom. However, it is also known for being the only state to touch all four of the Great Lakes, giving the state 3,100 miles of freshwater coastline—more than any other state or province in the world. Michigan is home to over 9.9 million people, and helping them all maintain a healthy quality of life has always been a priority for dental health experts who call the state home. With Doctors Network, dentists can now offer patients the high-quality professional dental care they deserve at drastically reduced prices, making it easier for families in Michigan to take good care of their smiles.

Staying ahead of the curve has always been Michigan’s thing. In today’s world of rising dental health care costs, that means finding ways to keep the quality of care high while minimizing costs for average families. Doctors Network helps local dentists solve that problem by offering direct dental plans to all of their patients. Unlike dental insurance, a direct dental plan gives you access to substantial discounts on every treatment that your dentist offers. This includes everything from preventive checkups and cleanings that only cost $25 per visit to more involved cosmetic, restorative, and prosthetic procedures that are discounted by up to 90%. For the seven percent of patients in Michigan who do not have insurance, a direct dental plan can be the best way to make dental care more affordable for the whole family. For patients who already have insurance, the plan can help ensure that they are not left with exorbitant out-of-pocket expenses, even for elective procedures like porcelain veneers, Invisalign® clear aligners, dental implants, and more.
