If I could give this place 20 stars I would. I chipped my tooth by biting down on something hard. They were able to fit me in that day, despite not having any appointments open. I’m very thankful to the receptionist who I cried over the phone to. Dr. Morrison saw me during his lunch break, which is incredible, no other dentist in Richmond, VA I know has that sort of dental service! Dr. Morrison was very nice, caring, and easy to talk to. My tooth looks even better than it did before I chipped it now that Dr. Morrison fixed it. This place left such a great impression on me that I am feeling and looking better than ever. I plan on going back every to this dentistry every year!

Family Dentistry is a fantastic dentist office! They have flexible hours that always accommodate my schedule. The staff is smart, welcoming, and skillful, and they typically give us some free toothbrushes, floss, and toothpaste after our cleaning. Dr. Morrison and his staff are great with kids, and my toddler loves going there for a check up and keeping his teeth clean. Also, the receptionist always goes the extra mile for use - best dentist in Richmond, VA!

dental-implants-or-bridge

As adolescents, we lose our primary teeth over time. However, in adulthood, losing teeth is often due to injury. Periodontal disease could be responsible as well. Since losing teeth at this age isn’t natural, this means problems. You could have problems consuming solid foods. Problems talking clearly may develop. Finally, you could risk negative changes to your smile, or even smile’s stability. You need an experienced private dentist in Richmond, VA who can provide prosthetic dentistry. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help find a local dentist.

First, we will help connect you to a skilled dentist in your area. Then, your new dentist can examine your smile to assess your tooth loss. For mild cases, a dental bridge could be the best option, providing lifelike results. For several missing teeth, partial dentures could offer a solution and rebuild your smile. Finally, a complete denture or CD could be custom-made. While most complete dentures and partial dentures are removable, they could be stablized with multiple dental implants. Dental implants essentially look and function like natural teeth, and preserve bone density in your mandible and maxilla and facial structure following tooth loss.

If you live in the Richmond area and need a solution for tooth loss, let us help. We can get you started on receiving the tooth replacement you need. A full smile is possible, even if you’ve suffered complete tooth loss, and even if many years have gone by since that happened!

P. S. Please applaud our dentists in Nashville, TN with us this week.

sleep-apnea-treatment

When you have a sleep disorder, you may not realize it, but a dentist could help. In fact, dentists can provide a comfortable solution to help you breathe without interruption. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) means that as you sleep, the soft palate and the tissues around the throat collapse and cause you to stop breathing. People literally stop breathing for a few seconds until the brain alerts the body to resume breathing. Even as you think you slept well, you’re actually sleep deprived! But when is it necessary to contact Doctors Network to find Richmond, VA dentists who offer OSA treatment?

Signs and symptoms of OSA include snoring on a nightly basis. Daytime headaches, drowsiness, and even moodiness could occur too. With no treatment, the condition could even affect your immune system and heart health. When you suffer similar signs, consider seeing a dental professional. Sometimes, oral appliance therapy can be used to keep air passages clear while you sleep, so you can finally sleep comfortably.

This week we are honoring our dental care providers in Manhattan, NY.

tooth-bonding

If you have a fractured tooth or one that is misshapen or stained, then you need a cosmetic consultation. With tooth reshaping and dental bonding in Richmond, VA, these and other cosmetic imperfections can be treated in one visit. At Doctors Network, we aim to help connect you with a dental expert in Richmond, VA who accepts new patients and provides the comprehensive treatments you need. You may be surprised to discover just how much bonding and contouring can do in a single visit.

Composite bonding repairs esthetic concerns using a metal-free material. The bonding material, a blend of glass and acrylic particles, is shaded and placed in several layers. Richmond cosmetic dentists also use the same material for fillings. During tooth contouring, the dentist simply sands and polishes the outer tooth enamel or restoration to correct your damaged or malformed tooth.

Today we are celebrating our Brooklyn dental professionals. Using these two services, these dentists can reshape malformed teeth, repair dental damage, mask teeth stains, and even close spaces between the teeth.

As children, many of us grind our teeth for short periods of time. The issue tends to be temporary. But for some, bruxism could mean chronic teeth grinding into and throughout adolescence, and the pressure from clenching your teeth could damage your smile. Chipped and cracked teeth could change your appearance. You’re also more likely to develop tooth decay or even dental infection, which is why if you have bruxism, you should consider using Doctors Network’s search tool to find a dental practice in Richmond.

Your significant other may let you know that you have bruxism when you sleep. Otherwise, symptoms could include jaw pain and tooth sensitivity. Treatment options vary. Some dentists bring relief by addressing the oral health issues behind your bruxism. They could correct misalignment with braces, or even replace missing teeth with dental implants. Many offer treatment with custom and comfortable occlusal splints. So don’t ignore the indicators of bruxism, talk to us about finding the right dentist in your area who accepts private patients.

You can’t put a price on showing off a perfect smile, but as we age, many of us struggle with tooth loss. Missing teeth could lead to difficulty with eating and speaking, and can even lead to an older appearance. To treat tooth loss, people often turn to dental implants. Unlike traditional prosthetics, such as dentures or bridges, these are connected to posts placed into your jaw. Crowns or even prosthetics like bridges are securely attached to these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but several decades with proper care.

Are you ready to address unsightly gaps with dental implants? If you are wondering how much dental implants cost near you in Richmond, you are not alone, but first, you need to find a Richmond dentist who can offer tooth replacement. Doctors Network can help you with this, connecting you to a dental professional who not only can address your concerns about missing teeth, but also takes walk-in patients. You can even register for a Doctors Network dental plan to decrease the cost of your procedure.

The dentist will carefully examine your smile. Underlying oral health concerns may need to be considered before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer replacement teeth that look and function like natural teeth!

Virginia isn’t just one of the 13 original colonies; it is home to the first English settlement in the New World, Jamestown. Not long after, Virginia also saw the end of the American Revolution with the surrender of Cornwallis at Yorktown. With its close proximity to the nation’s capital, Washington, D.C., more Virginians today work for the government than any other industry, equaling about a quarter of the state’s population. Nevertheless, out of the state’s 8.4 million residents, over 10% do not have insurance, which can make keeping up with routine dental care difficult and expensive. That’s why Doctors Network has teamed up with dentists across the Old Dominion State to provide patients with more affordable direct dental plans. Whether you have insurance or not, a direct dental plan guarantees that you can receive the high-quality of care you deserve while paying significantly reduced prices.

Virginia has seen a lot of firsts, from the first colony to the first Thanksgiving, and more. Now, residents of Virginia can be among the first to change the way they pay for their ongoing dental health care. The direct dental plan that your dentist offers through Doctors Network is not insurance, but rather a membership that grants you access to unprecedented discounts on all dental treatments. For instance, checkups and cleanings are only $25 per visit under the plan, and treatments such as fillings, crowns, Invisalign®, dental implants, and more are discounted significantly, often by up to 90%. Also unlike insurance, there are no premiums or deductibles to worry about; simply pay a low monthly fee, which is set by your dentist, and every treatment you receive will be discounted according to the Doctors Network fee schedule.
