Dr. Azling launched his dental career in Cerritos in 1988, initially working as an Associate Dentist under the mentorship of Dr. Chris Martin. Dr. Jelani Winslow has always had a passion for creating and building. Upon discovering dentistry, he found a unique opportunity to combine his scientific knowledge with his artistic talents. His interest in the field blossomed during his time volunteering at dental offices while attending the University of California, Berkeley, which ultimately guided him to Temple University in Philadelphia for dental school. After earning his dental degree, Dr. Winslow returned to the West Coast to complete a General Practice Residency at Rancho Los Amigos Hospital in Downey, CA. He then spent over a decade working at the East Valley Community Health Center in West Covina, CA, where he provided essential care to underserved communities. Despite the fulfillment he found in this role, he harbored a long-time aspiration to open his own practice. In August 2019, Dr. Winslow realized that dream when he acquired Whittier Palm Dental in Montebello.
