His academic career was briefly interrupted when he served in the United States Army, after which he continued his teaching at Boston University School of Dentistry while also building his private practice in Salem, where he has been serving the community for over 43 years.

Throughout his career, Dr. Fisher has been deeply committed to both his profession and his community. He has been a long time leader at the SalemYMCA, serving as President and Board Member for 25 years. He is also a past President of the Salem Rotary Club and has contributed to various local initiatives through his role as a Board Member for Catholic Charities North. Additionally, Dr. Fisher has played an influential role in the Massachusetts Dental Society, having served as Trustee and President. He currently chairs the Better Oral Health or Massachusetts coalition, working to promote dental health on a statewide level. Dr. Joseph Absi is a dentist with a diverse patient population. Dr. Kevin Hagerty was inspired to enter the medical field by his obstetrician father. He graduated from Providence College and, after discovering that dentistry was his calling, earned his dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
