She completed her residency in general dentistry at Millard Fillmore Hospital in Buffalo and has pursued extensive continuing education at the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study. Dr. Cohen then attended the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, graduating with honors (Cum Laude) and completing her General Practice Residency at St. Joseph’s Health in Syracuse, NY.

A strong advocate for lifelong learning, Dr. Cohen continually seeks opportunities to acquire new skills that enhance her patient care. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, which signifies the highest level of training in dental treatments for sleep-related breathing disorders, and she frequently lectures to local dentists on this topic. Dr. Cohen holds memberships in the American Dental Association, the Monroe County Dental Association, the Seventh District Dental Society, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. She actively participates in local study clubs, including the Rochester Women Dental Study Club and Brodine Prosthodontics Study Club.
