Dr. Amir Barati formed Peace Valley Dentistry with his long-time dental partner, Dr. Tom Forte. He is devoted to providing his patients with top-quality dental care and has many years of training and experience to back his practice up. When he is not treating patients at the office, Dr. Barati is attending continuing education courses in reconstructive dentistry, endodontics, dental implants, restorative dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry. He also has extensive training in Invisalign technology, implant surgery, occlusion, and root canal therapy. He has spent much of his time studying at the Spear Institute and recently attended a seminar series on facially generated treatment planning. He is a member of the Eckerd and Spear study clubs, as well as the American Dental Association, the Bucks/Montgomery County Dental Association, and the Pennsylvania Dental Association.

Dr. Barati graduated cum laude from Semelweise University in Budapest, Hungary. He then spent time receiving clinical training at numerous private practices in Boston before being accepted into the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine’s Advanced Standing Program after scoring well on the national dental board examinations. While attending university, he also completed a dental externship program at Lehigh Valley Hospital. He went to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania’s Maxillofacial Surgery Department to complete an internship program as well. During this internship, he spent time treating children at the Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Barati also spent time as an educator, teaching the next generation of dentists as a part-time teacher at Penn while working at several private practices. In 2005, he began working with Dr. Tom Forte, who he continues to work with today. When he is not treating patients in the office, Dr. Barati can be found volunteering his services to those in need through the Mission of Mercy and Ann Silverman Clinic.

I hate going to the dentist, so I really haven’t gone to one even though I know I should. But one day, I saw that my teeth were starting to stain, so I decided to just get my cleaning. Dr. Patoliya’s office is sanitary and up-to-date, and the receptionist was super helpful. I didn’t even have to wait to be seen. They sat me in the dental chair and explained what my insurance covered and how much it would cost. They also told me that I could decline treatment and what would happen if I decided to do that. My hygienist was cool. She was very welcoming, fast, and aware of how scared I was. Following the X-rays and cleaning (no cavities!), they gave me an estimate for follow-up care and told me why I needed it. Hands down, this was the best dental experience I’ve had in a long time. I’ve been a patient at Hamilton Smiles for over a year now, and I love it. You never have to wait here. I trust Dr. Goyal and her staff completely, with anything from a root canal to a cleaning. They have TVs in all the rooms, I was able to watch my favorite movie while getting my teeth cleaned. I can tell the staff really love their job and enjoy working there. This place actually listens to my concerns, unlike other dentists I’ve been too. They’ve given me great tips on how to keep my teeth healthy and answer all my questions. Another great thing is it’s never hard to find parking here!

My friend referred me to Dr. Khalil at Albert A. Khalil DDS in South River, NJ. My friend saw him for an emergency tooth extraction, and he has been bragging about his awesome dentist ever since! I’ve been looking for a new dentist anyway because my usual one is retiring. I’m so happy I found Dr. Khalil! He and his hygienists are awesome at their jobs. Not too long ago, I needed all of my wisdom teeth pulled out, so I was pretty anxious. But Dr. Khalil made everything go much better than anticipated! He made sure I was relaxed before he began and told me what he was doing step by step. He extracted all four teeth in record time and ensured that I experienced no pain. Afterwards, he called me to follow up and remind me of my aftercare. A few days later, he called me again to ask how I was doing. I was truly amazed! He treated me more like a friend, not just another patient! The front office staff was very considerate and warm. I have a hectic work schedule, so I always need to schedule my cleanings at the last minute or switch my appointment time, which they’ve had no problem with at all. If you need to switch to a new dentist, make sure it’s to this practice!

I hadn’t seen a dentist in Hamilton in over 8 years and was absolutely dreading going. But I was really surprised by my time here. I got to watch my favorite HGTV show the whole time and everyone made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Thind helped me thoroughly understand how she was going to approach all the work I needed to get done and helped me understand the fees under the plan. The dental assistant helped me get rid of my fear of the dentist. The whole staff is very kind and knowledgeable. I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars!

My family has been going to Dr. Kucher for five years now and they always provide great dental service in Livingston, NJ. The dental hygienist always cleans our teeth thoroughly and are very nice. I have to give a special shoutout to the receptionist, she’s the best! Whenever we have dental emergencies we’re able to get in within a couple of hours. This place is awesome.

This place has a knowledgeable, kind, and easy to talk to staff. I broke my back molar and was in so much pain that I had to call Dr. Rosen I called at 12:30pm and they had me in the dental chair 15 minutes later. They didn’t take their lunch break and instead chose to take care of me. Dr. Rosen is an excellent dentist in Bensalem. I was in and out of that place in 45 minutes. I had a build up and a crown done, with almost no pain. If you want high-quality service and a caring doctor you should go see Dr. Rosen. I’m so glad I found my permanent dentist. The office is the cleanest dentist in Bensalem PA I’ve ever been to. They sterilize everything, including the drills, and the handles on the overhead lights are wrapped after each patient. They really care about their patients, and I can’t thank them enough.

K Dental Smiles in Freehold, NJ just gave me the best dental experience ever, and they’re now my new dentist! The staff is so amicable and perceptive. Due to previous horrible experiences, I was terrified to see Dr. Khetani, but everyone really put my mind at ease. They made it as quick and pain free as possible. I strongly suggest you give them a call!

Has it been 2 years since my last review? Time does fly, but these folks at C K Galdieri only seem to get better over the years. I drive 2 hours to make a morning appt with these folks in Elmwood Park , and it is more than worth it. Dr. Galdieri runs a top-notch dental office; you will not go wrong going to them for a check-up. I have been to other places here in Elmwood Park , but always come back to C K Galdieri! They stay up to date with best techniques, and still find time to treat you not as a "case" or a "file" but as if you are their only client. Can't say enough good things about these people – look no further for the best dentist around.

Dr. Patoliya and his staff at Advanced Dental Designs are amazing! One of the staff members even drove me to and from my osseous surgery! During the operation I had a few days ago, everything went as planned. I felt little to no pain because they gave me anesthesia, and they made sure I stayed warm during the whole surgery. You can tell Dr. Patoliya really cares about his patients. He even met me at the office on a weekend to look at my gum when I thought my gums separated from the stitches (thankfully, it was just a blood clot). If you are in need of periodontal work and live in the Philadelphia area, I highly recommend you go see him!

I am thrilled to have found Dr. Lerner's practice. My wife was suffering due to an impacted wisdom tooth and needed it extracted immediately. We had been looking for a New York based dentist/oral surgeon for quite some time but had been unimpressed with those that had offered us a consult. Then we met Dr. Lerner. He was able to fit her into his schedule with very little notice and removed her wisdom tooth. It was a painless process for her--just x-rays, a couple of shots, and a little bit of pressure. We were on our way home in less than an hour. Seeing how well she was treated inspired me to have my own work done. I made an appointment to fix a chipped tooth/implant. We can’t thank Dr. Lerner and his staff enough.

They do walk-ins and you can schedule an appointment. They offer multiple types of sedation to make you as relaxed as possible. Dr. Grinberg is nice and gentle. I have been a patient at this practice for a while now, way before Dr. Choi took over the practice. I can honestly say I’m very satisfied with the work she does. She’s very personal, she always remembers what’s going on in her patients’ lives. She recommended Invisalign for me, and she was a great help with that, along with all the regular cleanings and fillings she’s done for me. The clinic’s staff and Dr. Choi are very knowledgeable and friendly. They’re always on time and keep billing matters simple. When I had a toothache 2 years they were able to see me right away. This is the best dentist office in the Kensington area in Pennsylvania. Everyone there is very professional, everyone shook my hand during introductions. A week after my visit a card that summarized my visit and even mentioned some of the personal stuff I brought up on it came in the mail. They really know their stuff there and are willing to go through everything with you. When I had my 1st root canal done Dr. Jacob was able to show me where the problem with my tooth was on an IPad. After my crown prep appointment, Dr. Jacob called me personally to check up on me and make sure I wasn’t in any pain. As someone in healthcare, I can say that these personal touches really matter because they make the patient feel important like they’re not just another patient. This dentist office in Philadelphia is great. There is another one that is closer to where I live, but I have to go to this one because of how great everyone is there.

I love Armstrong Dental Studio. The team is very friendly, and Armstrong is well-informed, polite, and caring. I stayed at the Armstrong Dental Center even after moving away from New York, although the drive is much further away. I'd recommend his dentistry absolutely.

The staff is so helpful at Shay Dental and they make it super easy to make an appointment. I called but then realized the office was closed. The receptionist saw my number on the caller ID and called me back, without me even having to leave a message. How great!! The office is spotless and inviting. I had no trouble parking. It’s right across from the library. Shortly after I walked in, they took me back. I had already filled out my patient information since they had the form online. So helpful! It seems like they never have patients wait long which is good. In the past, I’ve generally had dental hygienists do the cleaning, but not here! Dr. Shay took care of it. He did everything from the cleaning to the x-rays and more! I’ve been debating oral surgery on the suggestion of another doctor, but Dr. Shay gave me his honest and straightforward opinion on it. I appreciate that! He’s so approachable. For anyone that’s in the market in New York, I’d suggest their office!

When I told my friend that my dentist in Brooklyn was about to retire she recommended Dr. Grinberg. As someone who hates the dentist, I was a bit nervous. I don’t handle anesthetics well and I’ve had some bad experiences with dentists in the past. I’ve had root canals, cavities, and crowns. He was knowledgeable, gentle, and friendly. He gave me some great tips to improve my dental health, and he is much more up to date with his knowledge about technology and procedures than my former dentist. The office staff is kind and they helped me figure out all the Doctors Network stuff so that I didn’t have any surprise. I would recommend Dr. Grinberg to anyone!

I was looking for a dentist closer to work so that I can use my lunch hour or go immediately after work to get the treatments. I found Dr. Kalyanaraman on the internet. He has a great website, and the information provided led me to call the office for an appointment. I asked if they accepted my insurance, and they did. Dr. Kalyanaraman is so friendly. He treats his patients like family. He performed the examination and clearly explained to me what needed to be done. He allowed me some time to consider the options he presented, and he was supportive of my choice. I really like Dr. Kalyanaraman and his staff, and I’m sure you will too.

Dr. Shahin was very helpful. I needed 2 wisdom teeth extractions and he took care of it my very first visit because I was in so much pain. It didn’t hurt at all and he was very caring during the entire process. He is definitely going to be my new dentist now on.

Honestly, my first experience here was not the best; BUT you can really see the character of a place when things go wrong. Between the administrative staff and the medical staff, they were amazing. I have never had such a positive dental experience, these people, especially Dr. Sebold, care! I suppose things will not always go as planned but, I feel like here I can rest assured that either way I will be receiving the highest quality dental care right at home in Brooklyn .
