Throughout his career, Dr. Fisher has been deeply committed to both his profession and his community. He has been a long time leader at the SalemYMCA, serving as President and Board Member for 25 years. He is also a past President of the Salem Rotary Club and has contributed to various local initiatives through his role as a Board Member for Catholic Charities North. Additionally, Dr. Fisher has played an influential role in the Massachusetts Dental Society, having served as Trustee and President. Dr. Chung graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Biochemical Pharmacology, with a minor in Computer Science, from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1997. He then went on to earn his dental degree from the University at Buffalo in 2001. During his time in dental school, Dr. Chung excelled in both academics and hands-on experience, completing research projects and internships in oral surgery at Buffalo General Hospital and Erie Community Medical Center, as well as pediatric dentistry at Buffalo Women and Children’s Hospital.

Following graduation, Dr. Chung completed a residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago, where he treated medically complex patients and provided emergency dental care in the hospital's emergency room.
