He put this passion on hold after making the move to the United States, choosing to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering instead. After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Houston, he worked as an electrical engineer for a few years but quickly realized that dentistry was his true calling. He attended the University of Texas Dental Branch where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2001. He graduated valedictorian. I love Dr. Mehta! It is a small dentist practice in Houston, TX, so I never feel rushed, and they treat you like family here. I always feel comfortable here. They don’t have the best hours, but I have always been able to make an appointment for one or two weeks beforehand. Dr. Mehta is knowledgeable and friendly, and so are his dental tech and assistant.
