It was then that he realized he wanted to pursue a career in dentistry. He never shied away from a challenge. As a student athlete, he earned a track scholarship while balancing the demands of studying, training, and working part-time installing metal roof panels in the Arizona heat. His determination led him to pursue a degree at the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health, where he graduated and then gained practical experience in a corporate dental setting in Mesa.

In time, Dr. Wendelschafer took over at Great Smiles Dental Care when the previous doctor retired, and he has since been dedicated to providing the communities of Surprise, Sun City, and beyond with healthy, beautiful smiles. He is passionate about helping his patients achieve their goals of good oral health and a fulfilling life through personalized, quality dental care. I don?t usually leave a review unless it was a truly FANTASTIC experience. I was in Surprise visiting family when I started having horrible pain on my tooth. I needed a dentist ASAP! My aunt called Dentistry at Greenway and got me an appointment that afternoon with Dr. Gandhi. I was greeted warmly and the staff made me feel very comfortable. Turned out I needed a root canal *gasp* but Dr. Gandhi was amazing. It felt nothing at all like what I?d feared and I was able to go to the family reunion when it was finished! Absolutely amazing dentist! I would be tempted to fly back to Arizona for all my dental needs:)

Dr. Donald A. Eberhart grew up in the suburbs of Southern California and earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology, with minors in Psychology and Art History, from the University of California, San Diego. After completing his degree, he took some time to travel across Europe before attending the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, where he graduated with honors. After spending most of his life in California, Dr. Eberhart made the decision to relocate to Arizona and begin his dental career in the Grand Canyon State.

Dr. Jaime A. Tobon is a native of Miami, FL. He is a former Sergeant and a veteran of the US Army. He received an honorable discharge after serving tours in Honduras, Germany, and Fort Riley, Kansas. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Kansas State University before earning his degree from Missouri School of Dentistry in Kansas City. He also attended an oral surgery externships at the Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, and at Banner Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix while in dental school.

Dr. Tobon completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency after graduation in order to elevate his training in advanced oral surgery procedures such as dental implant surgery and endodontics. He is committed to dental excellence, which is why he has training in multiple aspect of dentistry including TMD therapy and computer-guided implant placement. He is a fellow and an active member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).

Dr. Sharon Bader was born in Trinidad, West Indies. In 1988, she earned her Bachelor of Science form the University of Toronto. In 1996, Dr. Bader graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor MI. She then enhanced her training by attending a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Michigan.

Dr. Bader has been a practicing dentist ever since, and she completes over 50 hours of post-graduate continuing education annually to stay up to date with current dental science, including advancements in techniques, materials, and dental implants.

Dr. Bader and her family have been living in Phoenix since 2000, where she has been providing top-notch and personalized dentistry in this area. She cares about every one of her patients. Dr. Pulkrabek is the best dentist near me! I’ve had a lot of dental work done, and honestly, he is the best I’ve ever had! The staff at Adrian Pulkrabek DDS in Glendale is so welcoming and kept me relaxed. I have horrible dental anxiety, but everyone helped put me at ease. His assistant was amazing, and she made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire appointment - she treated me like a lifelong friend! When Dr. Pulkrabek started numbing me, I kept waiting for the needle poke, but I never felt anything. He set me up with teeth whitener, and I love the results. I've been a patient here for 5 years now. The staff always makes sure I’m comfortable. I have to give a special shout out to the assistant, she’s absolutely wonderful. They let you listen to music to help you get distracted from the work they’re doing on your teeth if it makes you anxious. They even give you a card with your next appointment date on it. I couldn't believe it. I love this place so much that even if I have to move at some point in my life I plan on making my bi-annual appointments here, even if I have to fly to Phoenix.
