I've been a patient here for 5 years now. The staff always makes sure I’m comfortable. I have to give a special shout out to the assistant, she’s absolutely wonderful. They let you listen to music to help you get distracted from the work they’re doing on your teeth if it makes you anxious. They even give you a card with your next appointment date on it. I couldn't believe it. I love this place so much that even if I have to move at some point in my life I plan on making my bi-annual appointments here, even if I have to fly to Phoenix.

Thus far, I love Thomas & Thomas Dental. From the receptionist to Dr. Thomas himself, everyone really wanted to help me. I had a horrible toothache for about two weeks and was losing my mind. After seeing some great reviews on Doctors Network, I gave them a call. I desperately needed help, but I didn’t have dental insurance or an appointment. The receptionist just told me to come on in, and they’d see me on the spot. Turns out, I had a root canal on the problem tooth, so he gave me some antibiotics to see if that would help. By day two, the pain started to subside, and I started feeling so much better. They were so sweet. They didn’t even charge me anything, and before I left, I booked an appointment for a cleaning and checkup. This is the friendliest team I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. They’re patient-focused, not money-focused. If you live in Phoenix, AZ give them a shot - I drive a long ways to see them, but it’s so worth it!

I’ve been going to Dr. Thomas for the past couple of years. She and her staff at Thomas & Thomas Dental (Phoenix, AZ) make sure every visit is as pain free as possible. The front office staff is so sweet, and the dental hygienists do a fantastic job while keeping you relaxed. Dr. Thomas always thoroughly explains what she’s doing and why she’s doing it. The office even bills your insurance for you so that you don’t have to. As long as I live here, I’ll keep going to Dr. Thomas for all my dental needs!

I really dread going to the dentist. I’ve had nothing but bad experiences with dentists...that is, until I went to Aesthetic Dentistry of Glendale! Dr. Luat was my dentist, and she was so friendly. I cracked my crown last weekend and was in a lot of pain. Everyone was so caring and wanted to fix it as fast as possible. I recommend their office (located in Glendale, AZ) to everyone. They turned an awful situation into a rather pleasant experience!

I’ve been seeing the dentists near me for a long time. Since the arrival of Northside Family Dental, the level of dental care in Phoenix has gotten even better. The dental assistant there is incredible. They are all very skillful at their job and Dr. Gidwani is highly talented. All the staff has tremendous talent while Dr. Nick is helpful and knowledgeable. He takes time to really listen and care for his patients.

This place is great, they’ve done a lot of excellent work on both my wife and I. I would recommend them to anyone. The entire staff is very kind, knowledgeable, and very professional. Dr. Gidwani and the whole staff are awesome. When I first came here I didn’t have insurance, they suggested I sign up with Doctors' Network dental insurance plan in Glendale, AZ, and I did because of the reasonable prices. They’re always very willing to work with me to help me get the most out of my plan. I can’t thank them enough.

Oral health declines when we lose natural teeth. Obviously, there are problems with eating your favorite foods. Even clear speech could be a problem. However, the major problem is the loss of structure in the jaw. This weakens the jaw, and could even cause a prematurely aged appearance. More importantly, this leaves the smile too weak for implants. Additional treatments could be necessary to strengthen the jaw in order to make tooth replacement possible! Fortunately, Doctors Network could help you book an online appointment with a local Phoenix oral surgeon who is in-network with Doctors Network Discount Dental Plan and performs jawbone grafting. In addition, we could also discuss our membership plan to make care affordable!

Bone grafting is also referred to as ridge augmentation. Essentially this enables the dentist to rebuild jawbone structure in your mandible. Your dentist could employ new tissue from multiple sources. We could take tissue from the back of the jaw or the hip. Donor materials like bovine bone could also be used. Some opt for synthetic materials. During oral surgery, these are applied to the areas of weakened structure in the mandible.

Once the area heals, one or more dental implants could be placed. The body will allow them to bond with the jaw. As a result, they help prevent any further breakdown in the jaw, protecting facial structure. Our team can connect you to a dentist in Phoenix, AZ who performs jawbone grafting, and also let you know about our dental discount plan to make sure your care fits in your budget!

When you have a toothache, or a tooth that is injured, you need dental care. Otherwise, the tooth could develop caries and infections. Soon, there is a risk of not only tooth loss, but a spread of infection to other teeth. But sometimes, the cavity is beyond the stage to be treated with a restoration. Instead, the tooth could require immediate extraction. At Doctors Network, our team can help you find a great dentist in Phoenix, AZ who can provide a effective tooth extraction as needed.

As we discussed earlier, cavities or injury could be why a tooth needs extraction. But a dentist could also remove one that is loosened by periodontal disease. Taking out a tooth could return balance and chewing function. Extraction could also provide room for correcting misalignment! In many cases, this could prevent wisdom tooth impaction. Removing wisdom teeth prior to eruption helps preserve the balance and appearance of your smile. For people with advanced tooth loss, removing the last few teeth essentially paves the way for dentures. Your Phoenix dentist could use this to improve the health, function, and surprisingly, sometimes the appearance of your smile.

Now that you understand why and when a tooth may require removal, how do you seek care for one? Well, as mentioned above Doctors Network can locate a dentist in the Phoenix, AZ area. But if you don’t have coverage, you may worry about costs. Fortunately, we have a payment plan! Our dental membership plan is opened with an initial fee and maintained with a small fee each month. For some, this could cut the cost of care by up to ninety percent!

Tooth loss could lead to major issues for your smile. For example, this could impact how easily you eat your favorite foods, or how clearly you can speak. But the most severe complication is the break down of structure in the jaw. The body decreases the flow of phosphate and calcium to the areas without roots, which in turn causes bone loss and the loss of youthful facial structure and weakens the structure significantly. Which means you may not be able to receive dental implants to address gaps in your smile. But Doctors Network can connect you with a dentist in Phoenix, AZ who can shore up your jaw.

As discussed in previous posts, a ridge augmentation procedure helps strengthen the mandible, so it can support dental implants. But what about the upper jaw? Instead of a grafting procedure, your Phoenix dentist could perform a sinus lift. Essentially, the dentist will raise the sinus floor to generate new bone structure. The new structure can support dental implants. Once the new teeth are secured, this stimulates the growth of bone tissue to preserve the area. Your new teeth can then last for decades to come, possibly even a lifetime.

If you need to strengthen your weakened upper jawbone to support new teeth, we could help. Our team can connect you with a Phoenix, AZ oral surgeon who can provide these services and takes uninsured patients. When your smile is strengthened and ready, dental implants could provide a whole smile again. If you don’t have dental insurance, don’t let this stand between you and optimal oral health. Instead, talk to our team about our monthly membership plan. With our Direct Dental Plan, you can have treatments discounted by as much as 90% in some situations. A full smile can happen!

You probably know a lot of people who have had their wisdom tooth removed and are eager to divulge their experience to you. While this can be helpful, it is still crucial to consult with a oral surgeon. If you need these teeth pulled, it is important to have lots of information at your disposal. This will help you understand what to expect from wisdom teeth extraction and what you should expect from the dentist. Luckily, Doctors Network can help you connect with a great dentist near you in Phoenix, AZ that accepts patients without dental insurance.

The third molars or wisdom teeth are located in the back of the mouth, and there are two on the top and two on the bottom. They most commonly appear between the ages of seventeen and twenty-five. Because they come in later than the rest of your teeth, their arrival can cause complications with your existing ones. They can erupt at unusual angles, only partially erupt, or overcrowd your current teeth. When this occurs, they are probably going to be affected by abscess and infections. If any of these situations happen, it can be very painful and can affect your dentition. If you think you might have impediments with wisdom teeth coming in, it is important to see a Phoenix oral surgeon as soon as possible.

If you do need wisdom tooth removal, your dentist will determine how they will go about the removal to make certain everything goes smoothly. They will determine which of your wisdom teeth need to be removed and how complex it will be. They will also determine the appropriate type of anesthesia and the state of your existing teeth and nerve. Once they ascertain these facts, they can plan your treatment more easily. When you come in for the procedure, you will receive the appropriate anesthesia option, so you will not experience any pain. Your dentist will extract your teeth and monitor you the entire time to make sure you are doing well. Once your wisdom teeth are pulled, you will be provided with information about the recovery period. Fortunately, there are many Phoenix dentists that accept patients without dental insurance and can skillfully remove your wisdom teeth.

Have you experienced a popping sensation in your jaw? Do you have persistent migraines? If so, this could be related to a common but serious oral health issue. Around twenty-five million people in the United States suffer from chronic bruxism and TMJ dysfunction. Without treatment, these could not just cause jaw pain, but actually damage the teeth too! Fortunately, your friends at Doctors Network can find the right dental professional in Phoenix, AZ who accepts patients with no insurance.

While very different from one another, we often find these are related. TMJ disorder develops when the the temporomandibular joints become strained. This could cause problems with jaw function. Common symptoms include pain in the jaw, head, and neck. Bruxism means you grind or clench your teeth nightly. The stress caused by grinding could cause jaw pain. Teeth grinding could also fracture or break your teeth. This damage could lead to decayed teeth, infection, and more. Both disorders could be caused by issues that cause bite imbalance, and untreated TMJ disorder could lead to bruxism, and vice-versa. When you have persistent pain in your head and neck, you should find help. We can even connect you with a dental professional in Phoenix who accepts patients with no insurance.

Treatment options often vary; for some, relief is possible following dental bonding, which improves bite balance. For others, treating misalignment with braces could ease strain and stop symptoms. The most common option offered by most dentists is an oral appliance, which fits like a nightguard. If you need to find treatment from a Phoenix dentist. then contact our team!
