Spending countless hours in her parents’ lab, she became fascinated by the art and science behind crowns and dentures. This early exposure ignited her desire to help others through dentistry, a dream that felt out of reach at the time. After completing youth art school, she earned her nursing degree, which launched her career in healthcare.

In 1993, Svetlana and her family immigrated to the United States, settling in San Francisco, where they have since made their home. After obtaining her Registered Nurse license, she worked as a clinical nurse specializing in neurosurgery and orthopedics at UCSF Hospital.

Her nursing experience deepened her interest in the connection between oral health, nutrition, and overall well-being. Svetlana completed her pre-dental requirements at San Francisco State University and was accepted into UCSF School of Dentistry.

Upon graduating from UCSF in 2002, Dr. Yesin sought mentorship in holistic dental practices. She began integrating her education with the latest advancements in biological dentistry.
