I owe a huge debt of gratitude to Dr. Richard Kaufman! My brother is handicapped and has diabetes, so he requires extra care. It is very important that he has a gentle and compassionate dentist who is willing to work with him. Dr. Kaufman is that dentist for us. He is very willing to listen to all of our concerns and does a great job on my brother's dental care. Dr. Kaufman did a great job monitoring my brother's healing process. So far he is healing very well, and there have not been any additional complication. Personally, I've been to seven different dentists in the past 20 years. One of my previous dentists suggested that I have all my teeth pulled and just get dentures. Dr. Kaufman said this was absolutely ridiculous. Dr. Kaufman specializes in implants, so he helps me devise a treatment plan that was a whole lot less drastic. I am highly satisfied with his work and Incredibly grateful that I have found such a wonderful dentist and friend. Dr. Rafya Sandhu and the staff at Westbury Dental Center offer phenomenal care and service. While I know some of the staff personally, this was my first time as a patient. I came in for an emergency visit, and they were able to fit me in immediately. Dr. Sandhu and her staff exhibited a combination of skill and humor that eased my growing anxiety. The follow-up care I received was just as pleasant as the original experience. I cannot recommend them enough.

Dr. Lou Trovato is part of the 1% of dentists in the United States who hold three Fellowships with dental institutions. He measured my gum pockets and took 25 minutes out of his day to walk me through the procedure. He also explained the condition of my teeth very thoroughly. He showed me a lot of respect and kindness, and he genuinely cares about my dental health. He also understood that, because I’m a grad student, I don’t have a lot of financial freedom. I’ve been to multiple dental practices. Thanks to bad genetics, I’ve had my fair share of cavities, root canals, and now an infected tooth that needed to be removed. Dr. Kaminsky was wonderful throughout the whole process. I initially came here just to get a second opinion and was so impressed that they didn’t even charge me for the X-rays they took so they could see the infected tooth better. Dr. Kaminsky sat with me for at least half an hour, discussing treatment options and prices. I was able to have the infected tooth and my wisdom teeth removed on the same day. I was unbelievably nervous, but I didn’t experience any pain. I’m grateful I didn’t have to be put under. That lowered the cost. Dr. Kaminsky had the best possible bedside manner, which truly is a rare find in dentistry.
