Dr. Modeste will never make a rude comment about the shape your teeth are in or how you should take better care of them. He really cares about her patients and is very respectful. He and his staff have given me great tips on how to take care of my teeth. He really makes his patients feel comfortable, so comfortable that my daughter has fallen asleep during fillings multiple times, and even during a tooth extraction. I’m so happy we found him. We didn’t have insurance when we first came here, but they offered doctors network which is an affordable dental plan in Hampton, VA.

I found Quinn Family Dentistry almost a year ago, and I feel very lucky to have found such a nice group of people. I never have to wait long here. They know I am deathly afraid of the dentist, and so they’re very gentle and caring with me. I’m always comfortable when I’m there. I didn’t get my wisdom teeth out until recently, and even though I probably should’ve had it done sooner I’m glad I got it done here. The entire process was simple. My husband now goes here too. If you live in the area and need a new dentist in Hampton, VA you should definitely try this place out.

I’ve been going to Quinn Family Dental for a while now, and I’ve really enjoyed it. Everything about this place is great, from scheduling to the receptionists, billing, hygienists, and dentists. They have a small dental practice in Hampton, Virginia and I know everyone here. The office looks great, which is more than I can say for a lot of dentist offices. They have vaulted ceilings and a skylight, comfortable leather chairs, and beautiful art. They also have great magazines in the waiting room, even though it’s never a long wait. Dr. Quinn is kind, friendly, and professional. His father is caring as well. I can’t believe it, but I actually enjoy the dentist.

Major problems arise when we lose natural teeth. Obviously, there are problems with eating your favorite foods. Even clear speech could be a problem. However, the major problem is the loss of structure in the jaw. This weakens the jaw, and could even cause an older appearance. More importantly, this leaves the smile too weak for implants. Additional treatments could be necessary to strengthen the jaw in order to make tooth replacement possible! Fortunately, Doctors Network could help you schedule an appointment with a great Alexandria oral and maxillofacial surgeon who is in-network with individual dental insurance plans and offers ridge augmentation. In addition, we could also discuss our payment plans to make care affordable!

Bone grafting is also referred to as ridge augmentation. Essentially this enables the dentist to preserve the ridge in your gums. Your dentist could use a number of different options. Tissue could be sourced from the back of the jaw or the hip. Donor materials like bovine bone could also be used. Others recommend synthetic materials. During oral surgery, these are applied to the areas of weakened structure in the lower jaw.

Once the area heals, biocompatible dental implants could be placed. The body will see them as natural structures. As a result, they help prevent any further breakdown in the jaw, allowing long-lasting tooth replacement. Our team can connect you to a dentist or oral surgeon in Alexandria, VA who offers this surgical procedure, and also let you know about our dental discount plan to make sure your treatment fits your budget!

If you have a toothache, or a tooth that is injured, you need treatment. Otherwise, the tooth could develop caries and infections. Soon, there is a risk of not only a lost tooth, but a spread of infection to other areas of the jaw. But sometimes, the cavity is beyond the stage to be treated with a tooth filling or a root canal. Instead, the tooth could require an extraction. At Doctors Network, our team can help you find a skilled dentist in Alexandria, VA who can offer a safe tooth extraction as needed.

As we touched on above, cavities or injury could be why a tooth needs extraction. But a dentist could also remove one that is loosened by periodontitis. Taking out a tooth could improve bite balance and chewing function. Extraction could also provide room for treatment with braces! In many cases, this could prevent wisdom tooth impaction. Removing wisdom teeth prior to eruption helps preserve the balance and appearance of your smile. For people with advanced tooth loss, removing the last few teeth essentially paves the way for a full prosthetic. Your Alexandria dentist could use this to improve the function, health, and even the beauty of your smile.

Now that you understand when and why a tooth may need to be taken out, how do you seek care for one? Well, as mentioned above Doctors Network can find your dentist in the Alexandria, VA area. But if you don’t have dental insurance, you may worry about the cost. Fortunately, we have a direct payment plan! Our dental membership plan is opened with an initial fee and maintained with a small fee each month. For some, this could discount care by up to ninety percent!

Tooth loss could lead to several problems for your smile. For example, this could impact how easily you eat your favorite foods, or how clearly you can speak. But the most severe complication is the loss of mass and density in the jaw. The body decreases the flow of phosphate and calcium to the areas without teeth, which in turn causes bone loss and an aged appearance and weakens the structure significantly. Which means you may not be able to receive dental implants to address your missing teeth. But Doctors Network can connect you with a dentist in Alexandria, VA who can make smiles ready for implants.

As we’ve discussed in previous posts, a jawbone grafting procedure helps strengthen the lower jaw, so it can support dental implants. But what about the upper jaw? Instead of adding new tissue, your Alexandria dentist could perform a sinus lift. Basically, the dentist will push up the sinus floor to induce the formation of new bone structure. The new structure can support dental implants. Once the new teeth are secured, this stimulates the growth of bone tissue to prevent further breakdowns. Your new teeth can then last for decades to come, possibly even a lifetime.

If you need to strengthen your weakened jawbone to support a new smile, we could help. Our team can connect you with a Alexandria, VA dental professional who can offer a sinus lift and takes new patients. When your smile is strengthened and ready, dental implants could provide a complete smile again. If you don’t have insurance, don’t let this stand between you and a complete smile. Instead, talk to our team about our monthly membership plan. With a monthly membership fee, you can have treatments discounted by as much as 90% in some situations. A full smile can happen!

You probably have lots of friends who have had their wisdom tooth removed and are eager to divulge their experiences to you. While this can be helpful, it is still crucial to consult with a professional. If you need your wisdom teeth removed, it is important to have a plethora of information at your disposal. This will help you understand what to expect from wisdom teeth removal and what you should look for in a dentist. Luckily, Doctors Network can help you connect with a great dentist near you in Alexandria, VA that accepts patients without dental insurance.

The third molars or wisdom teeth are located in the back of your mouth, and there is one on each quadrant. They typically appear between seventeen and twenty-five. Because they come in later than the rest of your teeth, their appearance can cause complications with your existing ones. They can erupt at odd angles, only partially come in, or overcrowd your already-established teeth. When this happens, they are more susceptible to abscess and infections. If any of these conditions take place, it can be very uncomfortable and can harm your dentition. If you think you might have complications with wisdom teeth coming in, it is important to see a Alexandria dentist or oral surgeon as soon as possible.

If you need wisdom tooth removal, your oral healthcare professional will determine how they will go about the removal to ensure everything goes without complications. They will determine how many of your teeth need to be removed and how complex it will be. They will also decide the appropriate type of anesthesia and the condition of your existing teeth and nerve. Once they ascertain this information, they can plan your treatment more easily. When you come in for the procedure, you will receive the appropriate anesthesia, so you will not experience pain. Your dentist will extract your teeth and monitor you the entire time to make sure you are ok. Once your wisdom teeth are removed, you will get information about the recovery period. Fortunately, there are many Alexandria dentists that accept patients without dental insurance and can skillfully pull your wisdom teeth.

Did you ever notice a popping sensation in your jaw? Do you have persistent migraines? If so, this could be related to a common but serious oral health issue. Around 25 million people in the United States suffer from chronic bruxism and TMJ dysfunction. Without treatment, these could not just cause jaw pain, but actually wear down outer tooth structure! Fortunately, your friends at Doctors Network can help you find a dental office in Alexandria, VA who accepts patients without dental insurance.

While very different from one another, these two disorders are often related. TMJ disorder develops when the joints connecting the jaw and skull are stressed. This could cause problems when you eat or speak. Common symptoms include pain in the jaw, head, face, and neck. Bruxism means you often grind your teeth or clench your jaw. The stress caused by grinding could cause jaw pain and headaches. Teeth grinding could also fracture or break your teeth. This damage could lead to decay, infection, and more. Both disorders could be caused by issues that strain the jaw joints, and untreated TMJ disorder could lead to bruxism, and vice-versa. When you have persistent pain in your head and neck, you should find help. We can even connect you with a dentist in Alexandria who accepts patients without dental insurance.

Treatment options often vary; for some, relief is possible following dental bonding, which improves bite balance. For others, treating misalignment with orthodontic treatment could ease strain and stop symptoms. The most common option offered by most dental professionals is an oral splint, which fits like a mouthguard. If you need to find treatment from a Alexandria dentist. then contact our team!

Virginia isn’t just one of the 13 original colonies; it is home to the first English settlement in the New World, Jamestown. Not long after, Virginia also saw the end of the American Revolution with the surrender of Cornwallis at Yorktown. With its close proximity to the nation’s capital, Washington, D.C., more Virginians today work for the government than any other industry, equaling about a quarter of the state’s population. Nevertheless, out of the state’s 8.4 million residents, over 10% do not have insurance, which can make keeping up with routine dental care difficult and expensive. That’s why Doctors Network has teamed up with dentists across the Old Dominion State to provide patients with more affordable direct dental plans. Whether you have insurance or not, a direct dental plan guarantees that you can receive the high-quality of care you deserve while paying significantly reduced prices.
