I switched to Dr. Solemaninejad at Great Smile Dental a year ago because they accepted my insurance and because their location in Arlington, VA is super convenient (close to my house and on my way to work). I’m so happy I found them because they are fantastic! They fit me in right away in the morning before work, so I don’t need to take time off. Plus, they get me in and out in about a half hour, which is much faster than other dental offices I’ve been to. The staff is considerate and welcoming - no complaints there! But Dr. Solemaninejad is the reason I keep coming back. I have a permanent retainer on the back of my bottom teeth, and it’s such a hassle to keep clean between checkups. So many of my old dentists and hygienists complained to me about it, but they never showed me how to properly care for it. Dr. Solemaninejad is the only one who taught me how to take care of it, and my procedures have gone really well ever since! The only bad thing is that they tend to confirm my appointment more than once, which can get pretty annoying because it shows a lack of in-office communication. But aside from that - highly recommended!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Solemaninejad. I was nervous about finding an affordable and quality dentist in Falls Church after having multiple bad experiences including pain management, professionalism, quality of work, and insurance problems. I’m so glad I found Dr. Solemaninejad, who is a wonderful dentist and is part of the Doctors Network. I have sensitive gums and teeth and he is able to make sure I’m never in pain. My kids also love him, and they’ve always been terrified of the dentist. I never have to look for another dentist again.

When we first moved to Alexandria, VA, I was worried about finding a good dentist office near me. I’m happy to say we found a great one. My dental exam and first cleaning went well. When my teenage sons went in they too found the team to be very nice, gentle, and knowledgeable. Dr. Kwon answers any questions you may have and is very patient with all his patients. They send out text messages to remind you of your appointment, which I appreciate because of my busy schedule. You’ll never be in the waiting room for long, but it is a beautiful waiting room.

A lot happens to our smile when we lose natural teeth. Obviously, there are problems with consuming solid foods. Even clear speech could be a problem. However, the major problem is the break down of density in the jaw. This weakens the jaw, and could even cause an older appearance. More importantly, this leaves the smile too weak for implants. Additional treatments could be necessary to strengthen the jaw in order to prepare the gum for dental implants! Fortunately, Doctors Network could help you book an online appointment with a great Baltimore oral surgeon who is in-network with individual dental insurance plans and provides this care. In addition, we could also discuss our membership program to make dental care affordable!

Jawbone grafting is also referred to as ridge augmentation. Essentially this enables the dentist to restore the lost structure in your mandible. Your dentist could use various sources. Tissue could be sourced from the back of the jaw or the hip. Donor materials like bovine bone could also be used. Others recommend synthetic materials. In a surgical procedure, these are applied to the areas of weakened structure in the mandible.

Once the area heals, biocompatible dental implants could be placed. The body will accept them as natural roots. As a result, they help prevent any further breakdown in the jaw, preserving your smile. Our team can connect you to a dentist or oral surgeon in Baltimore, MD who offers this surgical procedure, and also let you know about our dental plan to make sure your care fits your budget!

If you have a toothache, or a tooth that is damaged, you need treatment. Otherwise, the tooth could develop cavities and infections. Soon, there is a risk of not only a lost tooth, but a spread of infection to other teeth. But sometimes, the issue is beyond the stage to be treated with a tooth filling. Instead, the tooth could require an extraction. At Doctors Network, our team can help you book an online appointment with a quality dentist or oral surgeon in Baltimore, MD who can provide a gentle tooth removal as needed.

As we touched on above, cavities or injury could be why a tooth needs extraction. But a dentist could also remove one that is loosened by gum disease. Removing a tooth could restore overall balance and chewing function. Extraction could also provide room for treatment with braces! In many cases, this could prevent the negative impact of wisdom tooth eruption. Removing wisdom teeth prior to eruption helps preserve the balance and appearance of your smile. For people with advanced tooth loss, removing the last few teeth essentially paves the way for a full prosthetic. Your Baltimore general dentist could use this to improve the function, health, and even the beauty of your smile.

Now that you understand why a tooth may need an extraction, how do you seek care for one? Well, as mentioned above Doctors Network can find your dentist in the Baltimore, MD area. But if you don’t have dental insurance, you may worry about the cost. Fortunately, we have a direct payment plan! Our dental membership plan is opened with an initial fee and maintained with a small fee each month. For some, this could cut the cost of care by up to ninety percent!

Tooth loss could lead to multiple complications for your smile. For example, this could impact your nutritional intake, or how clearly you can speak. But the most severe complication is the loss of mass and density in the jaw. The body decreases the flow of calcium, phosphate, and other minerals to the areas without tooth roots, which in turn causes bone loss and an aged appearance and weakens the jaw significantly. Which means you may not be able to receive dental implants to address lost teeth. But Doctors Network can connect you with a dentist in Baltimore, MD who can strengthen your smile.

As we’ve discussed in previous posts, a ridge augmentation procedure helps strengthen the lower jaw, so it can support dental implants. But what about the upper jaw? Instead of grafting, your Baltimore dentist could perform a sinus lift. Essentially, the dentist will raise the sinus floor to generate new tissues. The new structure can support dental implants. Once the new teeth are secured, this stimulates the growth of bone tissue to prevent further breakdowns. Your new teeth then last for decades to come, possibly even a lifetime.

If you need to strengthen your weakened jawbone to support one or more dental implants, we could help. Our team can connect you with a Baltimore, MD dentist who can provide these services and takes uninsured patients. When your smile is strengthened and ready, dental implants could provide a complete smile again. If you don’t have insurance, don’t let this stand between you and a complete smile. Instead, talk to our team about our monthly membership plan. With our Direct Dental Plan, you can have treatments discounted by as much as 90% in some situations. A full smile can happen!

You probably know many people who have had their wisdom teeth removed and are eager to tell their experiences to you. While this can be helpful, it is still crucial to consult with a dentist or an oral surgeon. If you need these teeth removed, it is best to have a wide range of information at your disposal. This will help you understand what to expect from the procedure and what you should look for in a dentist. Luckily, Doctors Network can help you connect with a great oral surgeon near you in Baltimore, MD that accepts self-pay patients.

Wisdom teeth are located in the back of the mouth, and there are two on the top and two on the bottom. They usually appear between the ages of seventeen and twenty-five. Because they come in later than the rest of your teeth, their appearance can cause issues with your existing ones. They can erupt at unusual angles, only partially come in, or overcrowd your existing teeth. When this happens, they are more susceptible to harmful bacteria. If any of these situations happen, it can be very uncomfortable and can affect your dentition. If you think you might have impediments with wisdom teeth, it is important to see a Baltimore oral surgeon hastily.

If you need wisdom tooth extraction, your doctor will determine how they will go about the procedure to ensure everything goes smoothly. They will decide how many of your teeth need to be removed and how complex it could get. They will also assess the appropriate type of anesthesia and the position of your existing teeth. Once they ascertain these facts, they can plan your wisdom teeth extraction more easily. When you come in for the procedure, you will receive the appropriate anesthesia, so you will not experience any pain. Your dentist will extract your teeth and pay attention to your needs the entire time to make sure you are ok. Once your wisdom teeth are removed, you will get post-operative instructions. Fortunately, there are many Baltimore dentists that accept self-pay patients and can effectively extract your wisdom teeth.

Have you ever noticed popping or crackling sound in the jaw? Do you have persistent migraines? If so, this could be related to widespread jaw joint disorders. Around twenty-five million people in the United States suffer from chronic bruxism and TMJ dysfunction. Without treatment, these could not only lead to painful symptoms, but actually crack or chip a tooth! Fortunately, your friends at Doctors Network can help you find a dental professional in Baltimore, MD who accepts patients without dental insurance.

While very different from one another, one often increases the risk of the other. TMJ disorder develops when the jaw joints undergo excessive strain. This could cause problems opening and closing the mouth fully. Common symptoms include pain in the head and neck. Bruxism means you often grind your teeth or clench your jaw. The stress caused by grinding could cause headaches and jaw pain. Teeth grinding could also damage teeth. This damage could lead to cavities, infection, and more. Both disorders could be caused by issues that strain the jaw joints, and untreated TMJ disorder could mean eventual teeth grinding, and vice-versa. When you have persistent pain in your head and neck, you should find help. We can even connect you with a dentist in Baltimore who accepts patients without dental insurance.

There are, however, multiple treatment options available; for some, relief is possible following dental bonding, which improves bite balance. For others, treating misalignment with aligners or braces could ease strain and stop symptoms. The most common option most dentists offer is an oral appliance, which fits like a mouthguard. If you need to find treatment from a Baltimore dentist. then contact our team!
