Dr. Weisman was born in Philadelphia, but due to his father’s military career, he moved frequently throughout his childhood. As one of four siblings, his family’s adventures made for a lively upbringing, and their annual reunions remain a cherished tradition. After living on military bases in Virginia and Germany, the family eventually settled in South Carolina before moving to Chicago.

Dr. Weisman attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 1979 to 1983, where he earned a degree in Biology while also competing on the university's Big 10 Fencing team. He continued his education at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in Chicago, graduating in 1987. Following dental school, Dr. Weisman completed his residency at Mt. Zion Hospital in San Francisco, where he was honored to serve as chief resident in his second year. During this time, he mentored first-year residents and specialized in areas such as hospital dentistry, geriatric care, and operating room procedures.

He’s a fan of online shopping, enjoys Panda Express orange chicken, and has a passion for brewing the perfect pourover coffee. He can often be found glued to the TV during UCLA, Warriors, 49ers, or Giants games, and he believes the DVR is one of mankind's greatest inventions, especially for overlapping games. Dr. Kong also candidly admits that he needs to floss more consistently and recently completed Invisalign treatment after his teeth shifted from neglecting to wear his retainer as a teenager.

Dr. Chris, a proud San Jose native, was raised in a family of dedicated dentists, giving him a deep-rooted connection to the profession from a young age. Despite starting his career as a dental assistant at 15 in his aunt’s practice, he initially followed a different path and worked in firefighting. His desire to serve others led him to become an emergency medical technician and fire advisor, experiences that helped shape his medical career. Dr. Ho has been a member of the Spear Study Club for nine years, collaborating with other dental professionals to refine treatment plans and learn about the latest techniques.
