Dr. Weisman was born in Philadelphia, but due to his father’s military career, he moved frequently throughout his childhood. After living on military bases in Virginia and Germany, the family eventually settled in South Carolina before moving to Chicago.

Dr. Weisman attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 1979 to 1983, where he earned a degree in Biology while also competing on the university's Big 10 Fencing team. He continued his education at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in Chicago, graduating in 1987. Following dental school, Dr. Weisman completed his residency at Mt. Zion Hospital in San Francisco, where he was honored to serve as chief resident in his second year. During this time, he mentored first-year residents and specialized in areas such as hospital dentistry, geriatric care, and operating room procedures.

In 2004, Dr. Weisman brought together two established dental practices in Fremont, California, creating a strong, unified practice focused on patient care. He believes in open, transparent communication with his patients, empowering them to make informed decisions about their treatment. To support this, his office utilizes advanced technologies, including digital x-rays, intraoral cameras, and specialized software, all designed to enhance patient education and treatment planning.

Recently, the Yi family welcomed two guinea pigs—Hazelnut and Popcorn—into their home.

Dr. Schmidt has been a part of Alameda Family Dental Practice since 2004. He also served as the dental director at Sonrisas Community Clinic in Half Moon Bay, California, and taught at the University of the Pacific Dental School for several years. Dr. Terlet applies the same philosophy in her private practice, where she believes every patient deserves individualized care and personalized treatment plans. In addition to her private practice, Dr. Terlet has served as the Chief Dental Officer at La Clínica since 1989. In this role, she has played a key part in expanding dental services from one clinic to eleven locations across Alameda, Contra Costa, and Solano counties. As Chief Dental Officer, Dr. Terlet oversees the strategic direction and management of dental operations, ensuring alignment with La Clínica’s mission. She leads senior dental management in strategic growth, manages the office's budget and finances, and collaborates with other health agencies to advance the organization’s objectives. Dr. Terlet earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of California, Berkeley.
