Dr. Chris Murolo is a seasoned dentist who earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2008. Following his graduation, he completed a residency at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, North Carolina in 2009.

In 2011, Dr. Murolo and his wife, Lee Anne, originally from Santa Rosa, moved to the area to settle down and begin their family. They are now proud parents to two children, Olivia and Michael. Outside of his dental practice, Dr. Murolo enjoys spending quality time with his family and discovering all that Sonoma County has to offer.

During this time, she worked closely with Oral Surgery residents and had the privilege of learning from some of the top oral surgeons in India.

After relocating to the United States, Dr. Pandya earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, where she excelled in several areas, including:

 • Being inducted into the TKO Honor Society, a prestigious organization that honors scholarship and leadership
 • Earning first place in Community Dentistry during her final year
 • Receiving the IDS Dixon scholarship, one of the few scholarships available to international students in the U.S.

When not caring for her patients, Dr. Pandya enjoys quality time with her husband, Dr. Sunen Pandya, and their two boys. She also loves to read, travel, and bake with her children, creating lasting memories and enjoying family life to the fullest.

Dr. Kelly Wilson completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology at California State University, Sacramento in 1999. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, graduating in 2002.

As a dedicated professional, Dr. Wilson is an active member of several prestigious dental organizations, including the American Dental Association (ADA), the Sacramento District Dental Society (SDDS)and the California Dental Association (CDA).

Outside of his dental practice, Dr. Wilson enjoys spending quality time with his wife and four children. He also loves golfing, hiking, and exploring the outdoors.

Dr. Nicole Le earned her degree in Nutritional Science from UC Davis before pursuing her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry in San Francisco. Since graduating in 2001, Dr. Le has remained dedicated to advancing her skills through ongoing education in cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, and both pediatric and senior dental care.

Dr. Le is committed to providing the highest quality care, which she believes begins with open and clear communication with her patients. She emphasizes the importance of education and prevention in dental health, ensuring that each patient receives personalized, gentle care using the latest dental technologies.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Le is actively involved in her local community. She is a proud member of the Santa Rosa Rotary Club, where she has served on the Board. Dr. Robert P. Obregon was born in Sacramento, California, on May 6th, 1959, to Gonzalo Obregon, M.D., and Nadine Zoe Obregon. Growing up with his three siblings, Dr. Obregon was deeply influenced by his parents, whom he considers his true heroes. Their support provided him with a blessed upbringing and instilled in him strong values. He graduated from Jesuit High School, Menlo College, and the University of California, Davis, earning a Bachelor of Science in Zoology.

At the suggestion of his father, Dr. Obregon considered dentistry as a career, and quickly recognized that it combined his passion for science with his desire to connect with and help people. In 1983, he and his wife, Theresa, along with their nine-month-old daughter, Michelle, relocated to Los Angeles to begin his dental journey. Dr. Obregon graduated in the top 5% of his class from the University of Southern California (USC) School of Dentistry in 1987.

After graduation, Dr. Obregon and his family returned to Sacramento to be closer to relatives, where they welcomed two more children, son Matthew and daughter Rebecca. By God's grace, Dr. Obregon was fortunate to work for and eventually purchase the dental practice of his dear friend, Dr. Elmar Hoffmann. Dr. Hoffmann had established a well-regarded and thriving practice, and Dr. Obregon has worked tirelessly to build upon that foundation.

She also pursued advanced training, including a mini-residency in dental implants, and continues her professional development through SPEAR education. After graduating from the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, Dr. Selvanathan spent over a decade practicing in Central California. Recognizing the diverse needs of the Hispanic community in the area, she taught herself Spanish to better communicate and serve her patients. Her appreciation for cultural diversity has deep roots, stemming from her early years in Nigeria, North Africa. After moving to southern India for elementary school, she was immersed in a vibrant mix of French and Vietnamese cultures, prompting her to learn French in addition to various Indian dialects. Her global experiences have not only shaped her worldview but also enriched her approach to patient care, allowing her to treat individuals from various backgrounds with respect, empathy, and understanding. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Selvanathan enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Dr. Karthik Raghuraman, and their two daughters, engaging in outdoor activities such as cycling and kayaking. A lover of classical dance and embroidery, she applies her artistic talents to her dental practice, bringing a unique combination of art and science to her in-house lab work and intraoral procedures in Citrus Heights, CA. Dr. Eric Schmidt was raised in Boulder, Colorado, and earned both his BA and MA degrees in biology and psychology from the University of Colorado in 1988 and 1991, respectively. After relocating to San Francisco, he worked in biotech research for several years before pursuing a career in dentistry. Dr. Schmidt attended the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Dr. Schmidt has been a part of Alameda Family Dental Practice since 2004. He also served as the dental director at Sonrisas Community Clinic in Half Moon Bay, California, and taught at the University of the Pacific Dental School for several years. His areas of interest include research on jaw joint disorders and providing care for both children and adults who experience dental anxiety. Dr. Schmidt is also a certified Invisalign provider. In 2014, Dr. Schmidt was president of the Alameda County Dental Society and served as a delegate to the California Dental Association for three years. He also contributed to the peer review committee of the dental society. In recognition of his contributions to ethics, teaching, community service, and the dental profession, Dr. Schmidt was named a fellow of the American College of Dentists in 2016. In his free time, Dr. Schmidt enjoys traveling with his wife and son, playing with his two dogs, cycling, playing guitar, and keeping up with the latest dental literature.

Dr. Thao Tran was raised in Massachusetts and completed her undergraduate studies at Tufts University in Medford, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Latin with a focus on pre-health studies. She then pursued her passion for dentistry and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree in 2006 from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California. Following her dental training, Dr. Tran began practicing in the Bay Area, where she enjoys working in all aspects of general dentistry, particularly restorative and cosmetic treatments. She is dedicated to providing high-quality care and treats each patient like family, ensuring they feel at ease before, during, and after their visits. Dr. Tran is known for her compassionate and gentle approach, always striving to educate her patients about maintaining healthy, long-lasting smiles. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Tran was invited to join the faculty at the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, where she has the privilege of teaching the next generation of dental professionals. Dr. John Buzza has been transforming smiles and improving lives since 1983. He is a pioneer in the field of sleep dentistry in Santa Rosa, introducing sedation options for patients undergoing multiple procedures back in 1997, long before it became common practice in the area.

Dr. Buzza has also served as a dental instructor, teaching advanced cosmetic and reconstructive dental techniques at the Pacific Aesthetic Continuum. This program is designed to enhance patient care by equipping dental professionals with skills to exceed their patients’ expectations. Additionally, he has presented and facilitated Dental Boot Camps nationwide and has served as an instructor for Discus Dental’s PAC Live in San Francisco, where he focused on the difference between wants-based and needs-based dentistry.

As a Distinguished Mentor at the Kois Center, Dr. Buzza has lectured at the Kois Center Annal Symposium on a variety of topics, including marketing, practice administration, and professional development. He is also passionate about helping fellow dentists transition into their practices and has contributed to the creation of the Dental Professional Opportunities Network and MyDentalChannel.com.

Outside of his dental career, Dr. Buzza enjoys skiing and hiking with his wife, Martha. He is a proud father of two wonderful children, Meg and Jack. With a love for aviation and a commitment to physical fitness, Dr. Buzza strives to maintain a balanced life and encourages others to do the same.

Dr. Nguyen graduated from the prestigious University of Southern California, School of Dentistry, where she was honored with the esteemed Golden Hand Award. She also earned recognition for her outstanding achievements in Clinical Excellence and Dental Morphology. These accolades reflect her exceptional skills and dedication to patient care, which she continues to demonstrate at Everlast Dental. Dr. Rupi Kaur has called Roseville home since 2006, where she lives with her husband, daughter Rehmat, and son Saroop. A proud graduate of the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, Dr. Kaur earned her DDS and has been practicing general and family dentistry since 2006. Her expertise spans restorative, implant, and cosmetic dentistry, and in 2018, she took the next step in her career by opening her own dental practice. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Kaur enjoys spending quality time with her family. Her personal interests include watching movies, cooking, and traveling to new destinations. Dr. Kaur is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Sacramento Area Dental Society. She has also given back to her community through volunteer work with SCOPE and CDA Cares. Her academic achievements include earning a spot on the Dean’s List at the University of the Pacific and receiving the Tao Kappa Omega Award from the University of the Pacific Dental School. In her downtime, Dr. Kaur enjoys reading the Harry Potter series and watching TV shows like Everybody Loves Raymond, Friends and The Big Bang Theory.

Dr. Parvez Taylor has been practicing dentistry in the San Francisco Bay Area for over two decades. His passion for dentistry has only deepened with time, and he takes great joy in connecting with patients and learning about their life stories.

Dr. Manali Rathod, DMD, earned her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from the University of Michigan before attending Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, where she graduated Cum Laude. She then completed a General Practice Residency at Long Island Jewish Hospital in New York. Dr. Rathod spent over five years practicing in the Greater New York City area before relocating to San Francisco with her husband in 2016.

Before joining The Dental Practice | SF, Dr. Rathod worked in a startup dental practice in downtown Oakland and served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the UCSF School of Dentistry.

Dr. Ross Lai has been a dedicated dental professional for over 35 years. Since earning his degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1985, he has run a private general restorative practice in downtown San Francisco, with a strong focus on implant dentistry.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Lai has held an academic position at Highland Hospital's Oral Surgery Residency Program in Oakland. He was appointed by Governor Jerry Brown to the Dental Board of California in 2012, where he contributed as the Committee Chairman for Licensure and Certification. Dr. Lai also currently serves as a National Board Examiner.

He is an active member of the California Dental Association, the San Francisco Dental Society, the American Dental Association and the Academy of Osseointegration.
