I didn’t plan accordingly and showed up 30 minutes late to my appointment at Brockton Family Dental (in Brockton, MA). I called to let them know I was running behind, and they were very understanding. When I got there, Dr. Bae and his staff were very accommodating, so I had to leave this glowing review. Thank you so much!

I never thought I’d leave a dentist office feeling elated and grateful for the service I was provided, but here I am! The front staff at Brockton Family Dental was amazing, and with the back office staff and Dr. Nguyen, I thought for sure I was dreaming! Everyone here is so inviting, attentive, and kind. Truly a hidden gem! The dentist and dental assistant ensured I was feeling relaxed, and they were patient with me, teaching me proper dental hygiene and showing me pictures of my teeth that need some extra love. Not sure what other dentist does that! Plus the front desk staff helps you figure out a plan to pay for your dental treatment. I am so glad I finally found my Brockton, MA dental home! Thank you so much everyone - you’re awesome!

I hadn’t been to the dentist in about 4 years when I finally decided to go to Dr. Bayani. He explained everything thoroughly. No other dentist in Lowell, MA has ever done that for me before. You can tell he really loves what he does. Best dentist near me.

Found online reviews of Dr. Khanna’s office and decided to check it out. There were so many 5 star reviews I just had to see what all the buzz was about. Everyone at Smiley Dental is great. It’s never hard to find parking, the receptionists are very helpful, and I never have to wait long. Dr. Khanna is very knowledgeable. I’ve never had such an enjoyable experience at a doctor’s office. She truly cares about her patients and doesn’t just treat you like another person in the chair. She made me feel very comfortable, even though she did have to pull a tooth and fill a couple of cavities. The procedure was painless and seamless, which is great. I’m usually a very anxious patient, but I felt totally comfortable. Anyone in the Lowell area should try her out.

My spouse wasn’t too happy when I recommended Advanced Dental Care in Plainville because it’s so far away, but I’ll travel far and wide for excellent service. My entire family loves this dentist office! They’re consistently nice, tell you what they’re doing, and explain why you need certain procedures or treatment. They explain everything so thoroughly. They also let you know what you need to pay before you do any work. I love when insurance covers everything, but there are a few times we’ve had to pay out of pocket. I also like that they remind me of when my appointments are. My coworker recommended Dr. Naiman, and I’m so happy I took her advice. What’s funny is that even my husband is willing to travel to see him. Excellent service makes all the difference!

Dr. Melvin Hanzel believes that dentistry should be about the patient, not the teeth. He has carried this philosophy with him throughout his 30-year career and has set an example to other dentists on the benefits of positive, trusting patient/doctor relationships. Dr. Hanzel is dedicated to finding solutions to his patients’ problems, even when other dentists might have given up. He often heals teeth that were previously believed to be unsavable, and he is confident in treating patients deemed medically compromised. He always offers unique treatments attuned to the patient’s individual needs, including precision attachments, overdentures, and natural-looking cosmetic partial dentures. For patients with severe dental anxiety, Dr. Hanzel can use advanced sedation techniques to put them at ease as he completes their treatments.

Dr. Hanzel earned his BA in biology at the University of Rhode Island. He attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he earned his DMD. He then went to the Brookdale Hospital Medical Center as Chief Resident in Dentistry to complete a 2-year general practice residency program from 1978 to 1979. During this time, he also worked as a clinical instructor at NYU.

He moved back to Rhode Island immediately after his residency to work alongside his father, Dr. Harold Hanzel, at his practice. Since then, he has become a staff member of the Rhode Island Hospital and in 1982, he became the dental consultant for the hemophilia center. Much of his time at the hospital was spent receiving advanced training in various areas of dentistry including root canal treatment, sedation dentistry, oral surgery, internal medicine, and implant dentistry. He has also become specialized in placing tooth-colored fillings, and other cosmetic dentistry procedures.

Today, Dr. Hanzel is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Rhode Island Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the American Dental Association.

dental-implants-or-bridge

As children, we lose our deciduous teeth as a natural part of growing up. However, as adults, losing teeth means poor oral health. Gum disease leads to major tooth loss. Since losing teeth at this age isn’t natural, this means problems. You could have difficulties consuming solid foods. Problems articulating could occur. Finally, you could risk impacting your smile, or even smile’s stability. You need a new private dentist in Charlestown, MA who can replace missing teeth. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help you on the road to a full smile.

First, we will help connect you to an amazing dentist in your location who accepts your insurance. Then, your new dentist can inspect your smile to understand the factors behind your missing teeth. For mild cases, a dental bridge could be placed, addressing one to three missing teeth in a row. For several missing teeth, partials could offer a solution and restore bite function. Finally, a complete set of dentures could be crafted and secured. While most fulls and partials are removable, they could be supported with multiple dental implants. Dental implants are secured like natural teeth, and stimulate bone preservation in your jawbones and facial structure following tooth loss.

If you live in the Charlestown area and need a solution for tooth loss, let us know. We can help you get started on receiving bridges or dentures. Model-worthy teeth are within reach, even if you’ve suffered complete tooth loss, and even if many years have gone by since that happened!

P. S. Please applaud our dental professionals in Nashville, TN with us this week.

sleep-apnea-treatment

When you suffer from chronic snoring, you may not assume a dentist near you could help. But in fact, dentists can often provide a non-invasive solution to treat sleep apnea. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) means that when you sleep, the soft palate and the back of your mouth collapse and cut off airflow. Patients with OSA literally stop breathing for a few seconds until the brain notices a drop in oxygen. Even if you believe you slept well, you’re actually sleep deprived! But when should you use the search tool on Doctors Network and find Charlestown, MA dentists who could offer treatment with oral appliance therapy?

Symptoms of sleep apnea could include snoring on a nightly basis. Daytime drowsiness, headaches, and irritability could occur too. Without intervention, sleep apnea could impact your immune system and heart health. When you experience similar signs and symptoms, consider talking to a dentist. Often, oral appliance therapy can be helpful as a CPAP alternative, so you can finally sleep comfortably.

tooth-bonding

If you have a chipped tooth or one that is misshapen, then you could benefit from a cosmetic treatment. With enameloplasty and tooth-color fillings in Charlestown, MA, these and other cosmetic imperfections can be treated in one visit. At Doctors Network, we are here to help connect you with a dental professional in Charlestown, MA who takes new patients and offers cosmetic dentistry. Tooth-colored bonding repairs cosmetic concerns effectively. The bonding material, a mix of glass-like and acrylic particles, is shaded and placed in the tooth preparation. Charlestown cosmetic dentists also use this material for fillings. During tooth contouring, the dentist sands the outer tooth structure to correct the appearances of cosmetic concerns.

Periodontitis impacts millions of adults. In fact, studies from the Centers for Disease Control reveal that fifty percent of adults over thirty require treatment for periodontal concerns. Without treatment, gum disease could reach an advanced stage. Known as periodontitis, this is actually one of the most common causes of missing teeth. All that to say, when you develop changes in your gums, you need to see a professional as soon as you can. Red and bloody gums are common indicators that you need to consult a Charlestown dental surgeon.

Doctors Network can streamline searching for walk-in dentists in Charlestown MA that accept new patients and can offer a diagnosis after examining your smile. If there is a presence of periodontal concerns, then a treatment plan can be created. For less severe cases, a scaling and root planing followed by traditional cleanings every 3 to 4 months could help you avoid tooth loss. For the more advanced stage, there are options like gum grafts, laser dentistry, and more to restore your gums!

In childhood, many of us develop teeth grinding for short periods of time. The issue tends to pass on its own. But for some, bruxism could mean the issue persists into and throughout adulthood, and the pressure from clenching and grinding your teeth could lead to major complications. Cracks, chips, and worn-down structures could cause discomfort. You’re also more likely to develop cavities or even dental infection, which is why if you notice changes to your teeth, you should consider using Doctors Network’s search tool to book an online appointment with a dental professional in Charlestown.

Your partner or spouse may let you know about your disorder. Otherwise, symptoms could include jaw pain and tooth sensitivity. Treatment options vary. Some dentists bring relief by addressing the causes of teeth grinding. They could correct misalignment with clear aligners, or even replace missing teeth with prosthetics. Many offer treatment with custom and comfortable occlusal splints. So don’t ignore these symptoms, talk to us about finding the right dentist in your area who accepts patients without dental insurance.

Nothing feels better than an attractive smile, but as we age, most of us struggle with missing teeth. Missing teeth could lead to trouble with eating and speaking, and can even lead to bone loss in the jaw. To treat tooth loss, people often turn to implants and fixed dentures. Unlike traditional prosthetics, such as dentures or fixed partial dentures, these are connected to posts placed into your jaw. Crowns or even prosthetics like full and partial dentures are locked into these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but far much longer with proper care.

Are you ready to address unsightly gaps with dental implants? If you want to know how much a dental implant costs near Charlestown, you are not alone, but first, you should find a Charlestown dentist who can offer tooth replacement. Doctors Network’s search tool can help you with this, connecting you to a dentist who not only can address your tooth loss, but also takes walk-in patients. You can even sign up for a Doctors Network membership plan to decrease the cost of your procedure.

The dentist will assess the state of your smile. Underlying issues like gum disease may need to be treated before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer new teeth that look and function like natural dentition!
