Doctors Network

Residents of New Jersey know about closeness. Though the state takes up less than 9,000 square miles, it is home to over 8.9 million people, giving it the highest population density in the country (over 1,000 people per square mile). As the only state whose cities are all classified as metropolitan areas, residents of New Jersey know that taking good care of themselves is especially important to maintaining a healthy quality of life. For many people, the high costs of dental health care can make that challenging, but with the help of Doctors Network, local dentists can now mitigate that challenge for all New Jersey families. Through Doctors Network, patients can sign up for direct dental plans that, unlike insurance, can guarantee significant discounts on every treatment and procedure that their dentists offer.

Doctors Network

For most residents in New Jersey, dental insurance can help keep the costs of routine preventive care manageable, depending on the specifics of their plan. However, for those with inadequate insurance coverage, as well as for the 10% of residents who have no insurance at all, dental health care costs can quickly add up, especially when cosmetic, restorative, or prosthetic procedures are required. Direct dental plans from Doctors Network are designed to supplement existing insurance plans, or to provide an alternative for patients who do not have insurance. The plans ensure that all patients can receive the quality care they deserve at much more reasonable prices. For instance, checkups and cleanings are only $25 per visit, including X-rays when needed, as well as up to 90% discounts on all other services, such as fillings, crowns, dental implants, Invisalign® clear braces, and more.

If you live in New Jersey and want to learn more about joining Doctors Network, then speak with your dentist about signing up for a direct dental plan during your next visit. Membership only requires a small monthly fee, which is set by your dentist, and is available to patients of all ages. You can also learn more about Doctors Network and find a trusted provider close to you by visiting our website at www.doctorsnetwork.com.

I’ve been a patient at Hamilton Smiles for over a year now, and I love it. You never have to wait here. I trust Dr. Goyal and her staff completely, with anything from a root canal to a cleaning. They have TVs in all the rooms, I was able to watch my favorite movie while getting my teeth cleaned. I can tell the staff really love their job and enjoy working there. This place actually listens to my concerns, unlike other dentists I’ve been too. They’ve given me great tips on how to keep my teeth healthy and answer all my questions. Another great thing is it’s never hard to find parking here!

I hadn’t seen a dentist in Hamilton in over 8 years and was absolutely dreading going. But I was really surprised by my time here. I got to watch my favorite HGTV show the whole time and everyone made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Thind helped me thoroughly understand how she was going to approach all the work I needed to get done and helped me understand the fees under the plan. The dental assistant helped me get rid of my fear of the dentist. The whole staff is very kind and knowledgeable. I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars!

All the amazing reviews about Albert A. Khalil DDS in South River, NJ are true! Dr. Khalil provided me with the best dentist experience of my life, and I usually dislike going to the dentist! However, everyone here was amazing - very kind and welcoming. I am referring all my friends to this dentist office. They were so nice and supportive. I’ve never enjoyed going to the dentist until I found them! I was in a lot of pain and needed an emergency root canal. They walked me through the procedure, and my first root canal was pain free! I actually almost fell asleep during the procedure!

This place has a knowledgeable, kind, and easy to talk to staff. I broke my back molar and was in so much pain that I had to call Dr. Rosen I called at 12:30pm and they had me in the dental chair 15 minutes later. They didn’t take their lunch break and instead chose to take care of me. Dr. Rosen is an excellent dentist in Bensalem. I was in and out of that place in 45 minutes. I had a build up and a crown done, with almost no pain. If you want high-quality service and a caring doctor you should go see Dr. Rosen. I’m so glad I found my permanent dentist. The office is the cleanest dentist in Bensalem PA I’ve ever been to. They sterilize everything, including the drills, and the handles on the overhead lights are wrapped after each patient. They really care about their patients, and I can’t thank them enough.

K Dental Smiles in Freehold, NJ is really easy to find with plenty of parking. Plus, Dr. Khetani’s services are fairly priced. As soon as I stepped into the office, it was gorgeous - beautifully decorated and cozy. The receptionist was amazing, too! She was so caring and friendly. The exam rooms were so clean, and the dentist chair were pretty comfy. They gave me plenty of distractions while my teeth were getting cleaned. Dr. Khetani is very smart and didn’t try to upsell me on any procedures. Plus, she’s super thorough. She’s so great - she’s hilarious and put me right at ease. The office is very modern, and the staff is welcoming. I recommend this practice to everyone; I’ll definitely come back for any future appointments. Thanks Dr. Khetani and staff - two thumbs up from me!

I’ve never written a dental review before, but here goes! Dr. Patoliya and his staff were very warm, and I almost forgot I was at the dentist office! I don’t go to the dentist very often, but Dr. Patoliya and the dental hygienist always bring up little things I said during my last visit. The atmosphere is soothing, which is great if you’re going through a major procedure. Dr. Patoliya has amazing dental chair side manner and always explains things, so you can understand them. I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen, which is pretty unusual for a doctors office. I strongly recommend Advanced Dental Designs in Philadelphia, PA!

I hadn’t been to the dentist in a couple of years and they got me started with thorough but fast dental x-rays and a cleaning that wasn’t invasive at all. They checked on me throughout my visit to make sure I was doing OK. Dr. Solanki patiently answered all my questions and helped me feel comfortable. We also came up with a treatment plan that would help me get my teeth looking healthy. I can’t thank the staff here enough.

When I told my friend that my dentist in Brooklyn was about to retire she recommended Dr. Grinberg. As someone who hates the dentist, I was a bit nervous. I don’t handle anesthetics well and I’ve had some bad experiences with dentists in the past. I’ve had root canals, cavities, and crowns. He was knowledgeable, gentle, and friendly. He gave me some great tips to improve my dental health, and he is much more up to date with his knowledge about technology and procedures than my former dentist. The office staff is kind and they helped me figure out all the Doctors Network stuff so that I didn’t have any surprise. I would recommend Dr. Grinberg to anyone!

Dr. Sebold is gentle and good about explaining what needs to be done, why it needs to be done, and how it will be done. Not only have I not had problems with his treatments, but Dr. Sebold has also fixed dental work I had done before I became his patient! The hygienists and assistants are all excellent and very good at what they do. The billing and scheduling specialists for the Brooklyn location are also excellent - very accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend Sebold DDS!

I went to Dr. Lerner's office for a check-up, cleaning, and filling. It was the best dental experience I've had to date. I don't usually write online reviews, and I never expected to write a review of a dental office, especially considering I am not exactly a fan of dentists. But, I have to give credit where credit is due. Dr. Lerner told me that I would be pain-free during the procedure, and he was right. He and his team are incredible. They gave me great customer service and helped deal with all the logistics of my situation. I am pleased to say that I am Dr. Lerner’s patient, and I think he should be pleased with the quality of work he does. He is a tribute to his profession, a true asset to New York dentistry.

She recommended Invisalign for me, and she was a great help with that, along with all the regular cleanings and fillings she’s done for me. The clinic’s staff and Dr. Choi are very knowledgeable and friendly. They’re always on time and keep billing matters simple. When I had a toothache 2 years they were able to see me right away. I would recommend Dr. Choi and her staff at Smile by Choice to anyone.

Seriously, I could have skipped reading all of the reviews because Dr. Shay was just amazing. I was so happy that he repaired my implant correctly the first time. His skills are top-notch. If I could give 6 stars, I totally would. They saved me time and money, not to mention pain. The office space is so clean, and they are great with their practice of infection control. When I got there, Dr. Cukier was very friendly. I’ve never really taken brushing and flossing seriously, but he helped me understand the importance of it. It was nice to see someone genuinely concerned with my oral health. I was curious about what to do better, and he eagerly provided very helpful advice. If I could give more than 5 stars for this place, I would. This Rego Park dentist office is beautiful. The staff is very kind and professional. You won’t have to worry about your insurance or dental plans here. This place is almost like a spa, they have wax-hand dipped warming gloves and blankets for if their patients get cold. The dental hygienists are very friendly. Dr. Thomopoulos was great, she was thorough during my exam and took some photos so I could see the fillings I had before, but also a new cavity. She was willing to go through all my questions and was very careful with my teeth. I always hated going to the dentist, but now I feel completely at ease with Dr. Thomopoulos, she made me feel like I wasn’t just another patient, but rather a human being. I’ve referred her to everyone I know. I am a big fan of chapstick, and the free chapsticks here are awesome. Just another reason this place is awesome!

Can scaling and root planing help me reverse gum disease?

b
brush-whisperer-151

In many cases, gingivitis can be reversed with scaling and root planing (known as deep cleaning) and a strict routine of good hygiene and preventative dental care. However, if the condition progresses into periodontitis, then it might no longer be reversible, and will have to be controlled through regular periodontal maintenance.

f
family-flosser-1000

What is scaling/root planing (Deep Cleaning)?

f
fluoride-achiever-2

Gingivitis marks the beginning of periodontal disease, and describes inflammation in the gums caused by excessive oral bacteria buildup (in the form of plaque and tartar). Because gingivitis occurs underneath the gums, routine dental cleaning won’t suffice to treat it. Scaling and root planing, also known as deep cleaning, involves removing plaque and tartar from above and below the gum line. Then, your periodontist will smooth the roots of your teeth underneath the gums to discourage further oral bacteria buildup. As plaque and tartar accumulate on the roots, the buildup and resulting inflammation cause your gum tissues to recede slightly from your teeth. This creates deepening periodontal pockets where oral bacteria can continue to gather and multiply, worsening the infection and inflammation. Periodontal cleaning helps stop the infection by removing the films of plaque and tartar from your roots (scaling), and then smoothing their surfaces (planing) to inhibit bacterial buildup as your gums heal. In cases where gum disease has already developed, scaling and root planing should be followed by a strict schedule of checkups, cleanings, and periodontal maintenance. Your periodontist can prescribe appropriate treatment options, such as gingival grafting or pocket reduction surgery, to fortify your compromised tissues so you can recover from gum disease.

It was so easy to find a doctor and make an appointment. I didn't have to take hours to call different offices and find out who takes my insurance and who doesn't.

I'm a freelancer, so I can't buy insurance easily, so I always ended up paying a lot for doctors' visits. I signed up for a Doctors Network dental plan, and my dental cleanings cost only $25 now. If you don't have dental insurance I highly recommend it.

I fell off my bike and chipped my front tooth. I was able to find and book an appointment online right away. Next time I need an appointment I'll try Doctors Network again.
