Dr. Philip B. Conti was born in Everett, Massachusetts, and raised in Malden, where he graduated from Malden High School. He went on to Brandeis University, earning a bachelor’s degree in biology in 1957. From 1958 to 1962, Dr. Conti pursued a unique dual education, studying voice at the New England Conservatory of Music while simultaneously earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. During this time, he also worked as a biologist in the Cancer Research Department at Tufts Medical Center, conducting steroid screenings on a National Institutes of Health Grant and co-authoring several research papers.

Dr. Conti is deeply committed to the dental profession and has been an active member of various dental organizations. He is a past president of the East Middlesex District Dental Society and has served on the Massachusetts Dental Society, including as Chair of the Liaison Committee of Dental Auxiliaries. He is a lifetime member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and has represented Massachusetts at ADA conferences focused on dental auxiliaries in both Anaheim, California, and Chicago, Illinois.

From 1970 to 1980, Dr. Conti taught at the Northeast Metropolitan Regional Vocational High School, where he helped establish and lead the post-graduate dental assisting and dental laboratory technology programs. The program earned national accreditation in its first year, a milestone that Dr. Conti is particularly proud of.

Dr. Conti was named "Reader’s Choice Best Dentist in Malden" in 2012 and 2013 and received honorable mentions in 2014 and 2015.

Outside of his professional career, Dr. Conti has been married to his high school sweetheart, Ruth Dockendorff Conti, for over 60 years. They have two daughters, Laura Conti Zink and Annalise Conti, and three granddaughters, Rebecca C. Munro, Emma C. Munro, and Charlotte E. Zink.

Dr. Conti has a lifelong passion for music and theater, which began in his youth. As a tenor soloist, he has performed in opera, operetta, and church concerts in locations including England, Portugal, Ireland, and Canada, as well as across New England, Pennsylvania, and even New York's Carnegie Hall.

Dr. Conti has also been deeply involved in community service. In 1971, he helped found Project Triangle, a vocational rehabilitation program for individuals with disabilities. The program began in a small, abandoned church in Malden with just five clients and one staff member. Dr. Conti served as the first President of the Board of Directors for 15 years and remained on the board for another 20 years. Today, Triangle, Inc. serves over 3,000 individuals annually and has grown to include North and South Shore facilities, 10 community residences, and a budget of approximately $20 million.

In addition to his work with Triangle, Dr. Conti has served as a member of the Board of Governors at Tufts Medical Center for more than 10 years. He has also been a dedicated member and current Moderator of the Maplewood Baptist Church in Malden for over 65 years.

Dr. Beamer comes from a family of dentists, which sparked her lifelong passion for connecting with people and combining her technical expertise with artistry to create lasting relationships and beautiful, healthy smiles.

Originally from Charlottesville, VA, Dr. Beamer brings a wealth of experience and advanced skills to her practice in the Back Bay area. What Inspired Dr. Beamer to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Beamer’s love for dentistry began at a young age. Growing up in a dental family, she jokingly says she might have been destined for the profession before she was even born—her mother studied dentistry while pregnant with her! With her father also a practicing dentist, Dr. Beamer grew up surrounded by the dental world. At times, she even helped out with emergency patients in her father’s office on weekends. This early exposure and curiosity for the field only deepened over time, and her passion for dentistry continues to grow as she builds strong, lasting relationships with her patients.

Where Did Dr. Beamer Study Dentistry?
Dr. Beamer earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Virginia Tech before attending East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated with honors. During her third year of dental school, she received the prestigious Dr. William S. Kramer Award of Excellence. Dr. Beamer was also involved in research projects focusing on oral lesions and dental care for cancer patients, and she has a published case report in the “Online Journal of Dentistry and Oral Health”.

At UCLA, Dr. Kao was awarded a full scholarship and was part of the Academic Advancement Program. She also volunteered in the Tufts Sleep/TMD clinic and was an active member of the American Student Dental Association (ASDA), serving as an elected representative and delegate for four years. In 2012, he also joined the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry as Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Bioscience Research. Dr. Anderson is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Biomedical Materials at the University of Siena in Italy.

Dr. Silvius has spent more than three decades practicing dentistry in Revere, earning a strong reputation and becoming a trusted figure in the local community.

He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the North Metropolitan District Dental Society. Dr. Silvius has held several leadership positions, including serving as the Speaker of the House for the Massachusetts Dental Society and as a Past President of the organization.
