I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

A co-worker recommended Dr. Yakobashvili and now I’ve been to only him for three years. Everyone who works here, and them, are kind and caring. I usually hate going to the dentist, but I don’t mind it now. Dr. Yakobashvili recently filled a cavity for me and it went great. They listened to my concerns when I told them that the numbing shot doesn’t work that well on me and that they would need to give the most they possibly could. I’m so glad I didn’t feel a thing. They gave me a blanket because I was cold, which I was very thankful for and nitrous oxide since it was my first time getting a cavity filled. I don’t know which helped more, the nitrous oxide or the deep breaths, but I left feeling very satisfied. I’m probably paying more than what I could be at some other place, but you really do get quality service here. Going cheap in the past didn’t work out for me.

Dr. Hubscher and his wonderful staff at Gentle Dental Center provide a pleasant and comprehensive dental experience in Manhattan, NY. They sent text reminders prior to my visit, and at the appointment, the staff did a great job going over the procedures Dr. Hubscher recommended, explaining exactly what my delta dental of NY insurance would cover and what I would need to pay out-of-pocket, eliminating the possibility of any surprise dental bills. I have even recommended Dr. Hubscher to all my friends.

I recently went to go see Dr. Cohen after being traumatized from my last dental experience in Manhattan. I filled out all the dental forms as typically given to you at all offices. But to my surprise, they will bring you in and address the forms you filled out and any concerns you may have listed. I came in pretty embarrassed honestly because I haven't been to the dentist in over seven years. So as you can imagine I came in with the mentality that my mouth is a mess. Dr. Cohen at Columbus Gentle Dental immediately put all my worries to rest and was honest and made a plan with me without pressuring me into making any decisions right away. I am delighted to have found an amazing dentist right around the corner on the Upper West Side Manhattan.

Dr. Korenman is such a great dentist. He is efficient and most importantly gentle! I decided to go to her for my Invisalign treatment which, I previously went somewhere else in Manhattan, and I did not go through with it because I felt rushed. I am impressed at how easily and quickly my teeth are moving. Columbus Gentle Dental has it all and is unlike any dental office in New York I've ever been to. You immediately feel welcomed and calm. I would give Dr. Li and staff a 5-star review because it is well deserved. I'm only a month into my Invisalign treatment and every time I go in for my aligner pick up, Dr. Li is thorough while making the visits fast and easy. Booking appointment is also easy I can book by calling or email and have a response back within the hour. Invisalign can be expensive and thankfully being on the Doctors Network plan makes dentistry affordable. I have no complaints as a client everyone is very professional and accommodating. The dental assistant is so sweet and gentle she did my x-rays. Dr. Li is awesome and also very gentle. He knows what he is talking about and I completely trust him because I know he has my best interest. Dr. Li is very easy going and has a humorous side which I haven't met a lot of dentists in New York, NY like that. His humor helps me relax and not to be so tense. The first time I came into Dr. Li’s dental office on the Upper West Side was for an Invisalign consultation. His staff informed me of the dental plan and I was beyond thrilled. At my previous dental office in Midtown Manhattan they only accepted select dental plans; therefore, I was unable to go ahead with Invisalign due to I could not afford it at the time. After doing some research I decided to sign up and move to a different office. I am in the middle of my treatment now and I am just amazed by how much progress has been made. Every time I pick up my trays I know I am in good hands because Dr. Li wants every detail to be perfect. He will make time and communicate how everything feels and adjust as needed, such as adjusting pressure points, scanning, or taking pictures.

I was recently referred to by a co-worker of mine to Dr. Aviel. After more than 6 years or looking for a local dentist in Manhattan. I had given up hope of finding a dentist I could trust for my dental needs. I am truly so appreciative of Dr. Aviel and his staff they go above and beyond to help you. The receptionist went as far as to contact my previous dentist for my records and care preferences. Wow, I was just blown away. When you visit Dr. Aviel trust me you are in the best hands possible. My face was swollen right before my vacation to Mexico. I was freaking out and needed to see a dentist asap. I was able to make an appointment for 8 AM the same day. It turns out my face was swollen from a root canal that had been previously done. Dr. Aviel was able to explain to me how we would be able to treat this and save my tooth. He was very knowledgeable and able to put any of my concerns to rest.

Dr. Athanasiou is phenomenal at what she does! She is very informative and precise. My family and I all go to Columbus Gentle Dental on the Upper West Side and love how they all remember us. They even go as far as to personally call and check in to make sure everything is okay. My son had a filling done recently and they called the following day to see how his bite was. It was such a pleasure to go to Dr. Vinjamuri! I am in the process of moving to Bronx, NY, and I had a dental emergency. I needed help fast, so I called Dr. Vinjamuri’s dental office - they got me in the same day! I needed my tooth extracted, so Dr. Vinjamuri put me on an antibiotic and got me in the following day for the extraction. I have been scared of dentists since I was a kid and have had a lot of awful dental experiences. What’s unfortunate is that I need a ton of dental work done because I’ve avoided the dentist for so long and have inherited soft teeth. I was taken aback when Dr. Vinjamuri asked me how I wanted my smile to look. So many other dentists tried to get me to do what they wanted, which was costly and took a ton of time, but Dr. Vinjamuri only did what I requested. He did everything so quickly, and I’m so happy with the results. The whole team is warm and productive - it was such a refreshing experience.

Hudson Dental Center is an incredible office! They thoroughly explained my x-Rays and why I needed the procedures they recommended. Plus, they offered me a super flexible financing option. The actual office is spotless and up-to-date and in a great location in West New York, NJ. I needed a crown on one of my molars because an old silver filling caused it to crack. Dr. Kshatriya numbed me up, and I didn’t even feel the needle! The temporary crown fit perfectly, too! I am going back soon to get my permanent crown. I recommend them to anyone who needs an honest, professional, empathetic dental office. It’s great for those who are already scared of the dentist!

Shay Dental is so good that I am a bit uncertain if I wanted to share. LOL, I know it’s good to be nice and tell people but it means more wait time for me when I go there. I love the state-of-the-art equipment that they have right on site. Equipment that would need to be outsourced by most other dentists is found here. I love how great Dr. Shay is. He showed me that it wasn’t about making money, but actually taking care of the patients and putting their needs first. They even have great dental assistants and thankfully they work with my insurance so everything was amazing. I’m truly happy to have found this place so close to where I live in New York.

I can’t say enough good things about Smile by Choice. They do great work and are great people. This dentist office in the Upper West Side, Manhattan was right down the street from my office, and so I started going here about 3 months ago. I now work downtown Manhattan, but I still come here for the great dental service. I love going to my cleanings twice a year. I’ve never missed a dental appointment. Smile by Choice is very high quality dentistry in New York, NY. They have vaulted ceilings that let in natural light, the latest and greatest in technology, and an awesome staff that is very nice and easy to talk to. Going to the dentist can often seem like a chore, but this class makes it easy and even dare I say enjoyable. You’ll always feel like you got the best cleaning here, which is often not the case. And it’s never painful. Scraping tools can often be unpleasant, but they use an ultrasonic cleaning method that is very calming. They even give you a warm towel when you’re done with your cleaning, which seemed very first class to me!

I decided to go to Advanced Dental Concepts because it was conveniently located. Turns out, it was a great choice because the staff is incredibly friendly and makes you feel as though you are family. I really liked getting appointment reminders to my email or through text. I’m a bit forgetful, so this really helped. The staff also makes every effort to make you feel comfortable. I don’t really like going to the dentist, but if I have to go, I want to go to a place that treats me like adopted family. I look forward to going back to Advanced Dental Concepts.

My boyfriend referred me to Dr. Andrew Gershon after he had a pain-free root canal. The entire experience was exceptional. Parking was easy. The technology was great. Dr. Gershon was very personable and kind. They also have a great referral program. If I even so much as winced, Dr. Gershon would stop and make sure I was not in any pain. He did a great job with my porcelain filling, which smoothed out some cracks in my two front teeth. I even had a mold of my upper teeth made so that I won’t grind my teeth during the night anymore. I hate going to the dentist and was very upset when my dentist of 15 years retired because I needed to find another high-quality dentist. I did some research and found one close to home. Dr. Gelman is kind and professional. She's good looking too! The hygienist is kind and easy to talk to.

I’m a fairly new patient here, but I already love Dr. Aknouk. I’ve never had to wait, and when I had to bring my kids with me the team loves to keep them busy. Dr. Aknouk is kind and professional. He goes over my options with me going over the pros and cons of the different treatment plans. He also helped me figure out that I am allergic to certain crowns, which helped me get rid of my cold sensitivity. He is affordable and whenever I call about dental problems they’re able to get me in on the same day. I can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you need a dentist in the Bronx.

I was in a lot of pain from my wisdom tooth, but Dr. Khaylomsky at Tower Plaza Dentistry in Weekhawken was able to see me for an emergency appointment. Her staff is incredible, and they got me in really fast. They obviously don’t overbook themselves and really know what they’re doing. Due to the extensive work I needed, they referred me to a surgeon, but they made my appointment for the following day. I love that they took great care of me and really made my day. While I don’t enjoy the dentist, I’m definitely not going to miss any cleaning appointments after finding this office!

I have a fear of dentist offices and anything relating to dentistry. I have avoided dental work I've needed done for years. This morning, I needed to have a wisdom tooth extracted that was infected and giving me awful pain. From the start of the day when I called to inquire if Dr. Borgella was available, I was greeted kindly by the awesome staff person who answered the phone. She confirmed my insurance was accepted there, even giving an idea of what I'd pay for an extraction. Upon arriving in at Dr. Borgella’s office in Bronx, she nicely greeted me and proceeded to give me the paperwork to complete as a new patient. This is what was stunning to me, I was seen on time!! I went in, got my cleaning and met the dentist, Dr. Borgella, who was nice, informative, and clear. They told me things I needed done, in addition to the extraction, but did not pressure this as an upsell. Surgery was easy and quick! The only thing that hurt was getting the anesthesia in the roof of my mouth. Ten hours later, I have absolutely no pain, wow! I will be back to Dr. Borgella DDS. Everyone in the office was kind and professional and the prices are right on point.

I've been a patient of Dr. Khurana for about 6-7 months now for Invisalign treatment. The online reviews are correct. She’s awesome! She is very friendly. The office is calming. The staff is wonderful too. I was trying to decide between traditional braces, implants, and Invisalign. She gave me honest feedback, saying that others would recommend traditional braces or even implants, but that if she were me, she’d do Invisalign. I appreciated that she was more concerned about my situation rather than how much money she could make off me. The cost wasn’t a factor for me personally, but I know it is for others. That’s why this type of honesty is incredibly important. Hudson Family Dental in Union City, NJ has good hours too. Overall, I’ve had a great experience and highly recommend this facility.

I’ve always hated the dentist but 5 years ago I started going to Dr. Noor at Smile Cafe. They made me feel comfortable here because they’re very kind and have awesome customer service. I now actually look forward to getting my teeth cleaned. Dr. Noor made my smile look great and very healthy. Now my husband and I and our 3 kids live in PA, which is about 3.5 hours from Manhattan but we still go to the Smile Cafe. My 4 year old just went in for the first time and he had a great time. Dr. Noor and his staff were very gentle and kind with him. They always answer our questions. It’s a very comfortable atmosphere, and you can tell they really care about their patients. Dr. Lerner not only has a great personality but also is a great dentist. He genuinely cares about his patients and gives honest recommendations about the work that needs to be done. He respects his patients’ wishes and does not try to pressure them into getting services that they don't actually need. This is the best group of people I’ve ever seen in a dentist office in Jackson Heights, NY. Everyone here, from the dentist, assistants, hygienist, and office staff really know their stuff. A few years ago, my friend gave me an online coupon for dental work. At that visit, they told me I needed 11 cavities filled immediately, work that would total over $1000. I take good care of my teeth, brushing and flossing regularly, so I was surprised and alarmed. I decided to go to Dr. Alamzad for a second opinion. As it turned out, I didn’t have any cavities at all. I continued to go to Dr. Alamzad until I moved and needed to change practices. At my first visit to another dentist, I was told I had seven cavities, all of which required fillings. Naturally, I made the drive back to Dr. Alamzad’s office to get his opinion. His staff used an x-ray machine that was faster and used less radiation than other machines. Once again, Dr. Alamzad didn’t find any issues, and believe me, he looked. Apparently, in this day and age, if you have a bit of plaque or not-so-perfectly-white teeth, other dentists use that as justification for extra, unnecessary work. I’m so grateful to have found Dr. Alamad. I’ll be commuting to his practice from now on. I plan to have my 3-year-old start coming for cleanings soon too. Dr. Hassan Alamzad is the best in Jackson Heights, NY and the surrounding area. I’ve already referred some of my friends. Please give his office a call; you’ll receive excellent care.

Dr. Lalehzari is an incredible dentist. I was a bit skeptical at first, simply because I’ve grown to distrust dentists, but believe me, Dr. Lalehzari is the real deal, a highly-skilled dentist. The staff at 82nd Dental is very accommodating and personable. I’ve even referred my boyfriend to this practice because I was so impressed with the quality of the service. They even let you watch movies or tv shows while you have your teeth cleaned. That’s awesome!

I can’t even explain how amazing 82nd Dental in Jackson Heights, NY is! The staff is very welcoming and supportive, and they go above and beyond to make you feel at ease. Each exam station has its own TV, and while I don’t enjoy getting my teeth cleaned, they are quick but careful, often stopping to make sure you’re alright. Plus, they don’t shame me even though they know I’m not taking the best care of my teeth. My hygienist was very friendly and highly skilled. Dr. Neman stopped in after the cleaning to take a look at my x-rays, and I’m pretty sure he’s one of the nicest men to ever walk this earth. He was very patient with me and thoroughly explained everything I needed to know. I even asked him whether or not I needed my wisdom teeth removed, but he said I may not have to get them pulled. Every other dentist I’ve been to has insisted I remove them (probably because it means more money), but not Dr. Neman; he won’t make you go through any unnecessary procedures. They don’t have in-house whitening service, but they gave me some whitening trays to take home for a fair price. I just had to try them!

The dental hygienist was kind and knowledgeable. She made me feel very comfortable, and I didn’t even tell her how much I hate the dentist. She made x-rays easy, and adjusted things when I told her I was in pain. She was easy to talk to and helped me understand everything that was going on. The dentist saw me before my cleaning, which I actually liked. He made me feel comfortable and a lot less anxious. My daughter and I started going to Dr. Minkowitz in Maspeth a couple months ago. A couple friends recommended them, so I thought we’d give them a shot. We’ve been very satisfied so far. The front office staff is nice and helpful when it comes to scheduling around our busy schedules, billing insurance, and figuring out the headache that is payments. The hygienists always do a great job and give me great tips about my dental health. Dr. Minkowitz is very nice. I’ve gotten a couple crowns and other dental work done by him. It’s really been great. He even offered to give me a new mouth guard without charging me because he thought I might like a thinner one. My 10 year old daughter also loves this place. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

Dr. Cosentino is awesome. I left his office feeling happy, and I usually hate the dentist and am never a good patient, especially when I have a toothache.
