Dr. Kevin Lukas completed his dental training at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. There he acted as Class President and student-faculty liaison to negotiate curriculum development and grading policy. While in school he also served on the university’s digital radiography implementation committee and was Vice President of the student chapter of the American Association of Endodontists.

After graduating, Dr. Lukas began his life as a practicing dentist. However, he didn’t always know that dentistry was his calling. Dr. Lukas earned his undergraduate degree in art and biology from Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota. He graduated in 1994 and then began a successful career as a representative for several dental technology device manufacturers. During this time, he also worked as a biologist in the Cancer Research Department at Tufts Medical Center, conducting steroid screenings on a National Institutes of Health Grant and co-authoring several research papers.

As a tenor soloist, he has performed in opera, operetta, and church concerts in locations including England, Portugal, Ireland, and Canada, as well as across New England, Pennsylvania, and even New York's Carnegie Hall.

Dr. Conti has also been deeply involved in community service. In 1971, he helped found Project Triangle, a vocational rehabilitation program for individuals with disabilities. The program began in a small, abandoned church in Malden with just five clients and one staff member. Dr. Conti served as the first President of the Board of Directors for 15 years and remained on the board for another 20 years. Today, Triangle, Inc. serves over 3,000 individuals annually and has grown to include North and South Shore facilities, 10 community residences, and a budget of approximately $20 million.

In addition to his work with Triangle, Dr. Conti has served as a member of the Board of Governors at Tufts Medical Center for more than 10 years. He has also been a dedicated member and current Moderator of the Maplewood Baptist Church in Malden for over 65 years.
