After not being to the dentist at all while I was in college, I made Thomas & Thomas Dental my primary dentist. I was nervous and thought they’d find everything wrong when I went to my first appointment. My first cleaning was awesome, and the staff was great! I get anxious and hate going to any doctor, but they put my mind at ease and explained everything thoroughly. Dr. Thomas and his hygienist were very efficient and nice. My anxiety for sure went away after that first appointment. I had a tiny cavity (first one ever), so I had to go back a few weeks later to get it filled. It only took about 30 minutes, and the whole time, he explained what he was doing and asked if I was doing alright. It wasn’t nearly as terrifying as I thought it’d be! As long as I live in Phoenix, AZ, I will keep going to Dr. Thomas and his amazing dental team!

I’ve been going to Thomas & Thomas Dental in Phoenix, AZ for five years now. My mom’s a dental hygienist, so I’ve been to quite a few dentists and dental teams. But Dr. Thomas and her staff are the best I’ve ever seen - hands down! They have high-quality bedside manner and technology. I love it here - highly recommended!

I just moved to Phoenix, AZ and was in need of a new dentist, so I search Doctors Network and discovered Bipar & Grieb Family Dentistry. Before I even set foot in the office, the receptionist was so sweet over the phone. They scheduled an appointment a few days later (no more waiting for weeks!). I wasn’t sure about what my insurance covered, so she helped me figure it out. It was a great appointment. I did get a little lost on my way there, and by the time I found it, I was 10 minutes late for my appointment. Everyone there was so kind. Dr. Bipar (not the hygienist) is actually the one who did my cleaning! He was so friendly, and he really took his time. He also explained what he was seeing and walked me through a recommended treatment plan. Also, the office was impeccable - so clean and simple, which is what I prefer. Would definitely recommend!

After going to Dr. Pulkrabek at Family & Cosmetic Dental in Phoenix, I now realize my previous dentist was very old fashioned. Dr. Pulkrabek used some new technology that I have never seen in any other dentist office. Plus, they weren’t just rushing through cleaning my teeth; they were very thorough and examined my overall oral health, which included looking at my jaw muscles. They were detailed and explained everything thoroughly. They taught me so much about my teeth and gums, which never happened at my old dentist. Plus, they were very kind and pleasant to talk to.

dental-implants-or-bridge

As adolescents, we lose our baby teeth over time. However, as adults, losing teeth is caused by oral health issues. Periodontitis is the number one cause. Since missing teeth at this age isn’t natural, this means oral health complications. You could have problems with nutritional intake. Problems talking could occur. Finally, you could risk impacting your smile, or even smile’s stability. You need a skilled United Healthcare dentist in Phoenix, AZ who can provide prosthetic dentistry. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help find a local dentist.

First, we will help connect you to a friendly dentist in your area. Once we do, your new dentist can inspect your smile to diagnose the conditions for your missing teeth. For less severe cases, a dental bridge could be the best option, addressing one to three lost teeth in a row. For several missing teeth, partials could offer a solution and rebuild your smile. Finally, a complete denture could be prescribed. While most complete dentures and partials are removable, they could be supported with tooth implants. Dental implants are secured like natural teeth, and stimulate bone preservation in your mandible and maxilla and facial structure following losing a tooth.

If you live in the Phoenix‘s neighborhoods and need a solution for tooth loss, let us help. We can help you get started on receiving a dental prosthetic. Model-worthy teeth are within reach, even if you’ve suffered edentulism, and even if years have gone by since that happened!

P. S. Please congratulate our dental surgeons in Nashville, TN with us this week.

sleep-apnea-treatment

When you have a poor sleeping pattern, you may not realize it, but a dentist near you could help. But in fact, United Healthcare dentists can often provide a non-invasive option to help you breathe without interruption. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a condition in which as you sleep, the soft palate and the tissues around the throat collapse and cut off airflow. Patients with OSA literally stop breathing for a few seconds until the brain notices a drop in oxygen. Even if you think you slept well, you could feel tired! But when is it time to contact Doctors Network to find Phoenix, AZ dentists who could offer treatment with oral appliance therapy?

Signs and symptoms of sleep apnea could include loud and frequent snoring. Daytime headaches, and even trouble with interpersonal relationships could occur too. Without treatment, OSA could even affect your immune system and heart health. When you experience similar signs, consider talking to a dentist. Sometimes, oral appliance therapy can be helpful to keep airways open, so you can finally enjoy a good night’s rest.

This week we are celebrating our dentists near Manhattan.

tooth-bonding

If you have a fractured tooth or a tooth that is stained, then you need a cosmetic treatment. With contouring and tooth-color bonding in Phoenix, AZ, these cosmetic imperfections can be corrected in only one sitting. At Doctors Network, we are here to help connect you with a dental professional in Phoenix, AZ who accepts United Healthcare and offers cosmetic dentistry. You may not believe just how much bonding and contouring can do in one visit.

Composite restoration repairs aesthetic concerns using a metal-free material. The material, a mix of glass and acrylic particles, is shaded and applied to the teeth. Phoenix general dentists also use the same material to fill tooth cavities. During tooth contouring, the dentist actually buffs and polishes the outer tooth surfaces to correct issues with a tooth’s balance and shape.

Today we are celebrating our Brooklyn cosmetic dentists. Using these two services, these dentists will be able to reshape malformed teeth, tackle dental emergencies, mask unattractive teeth stains, and close gaps between teeth.

Periodontitis is a common oral health issue. In fact, studies from the CDC reveal that about 50% of adults over 30 have gum disease. Without treatment, gum disease could cause uncomfortable symptoms. Known as periodontal disease, this is actually the most common cause of edentulism. All that to say, when you develop discomfort in the gums, you should seek help as soon as you can. As children, many of us clench our teeth for short periods of time. The issue tends to be temporary. But for some, bruxism could mean chronic teeth grinding into and throughout adulthood, and the pressure from grinding and clenching your teeth could injure your teeth. Chipped and cracked teeth could cause discomfort. You are also more likely to develop tooth decay or even dental abscesses, which is why if you have bruxism, you should consider using Doctors Network’s search tool to find a dentist in Phoenix.

Your partner or spouse may let you know that you have bruxism when you sleep. Otherwise, symptoms could include jaw pain and tooth sensitivity. Treatment options vary. Some dentists bring relief by addressing the causes of teeth grinding. They could correct misalignment with braces, or even replace missing teeth with dental implants. Many offer treatment with custom and comfortable occlusal splints. So don’t ignore the possible warning signs, talk to us about finding the right dentist in your area who accepts United Healthcare.

You can’t put a price on a full smile, but as we get older, most of us struggle with the loss of natural teeth. Missing teeth could lead to trouble with eating and speaking, and can even lead to a prematurely aged appearance. To treat missing teeth, people often turn to implants and fixed dentures. Unlike traditional options, such as dentures or fixed partial dentures, these are connected to posts that act as new roots. Crowns or even prosthetics like bridges are securely attached to these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but far much longer with proper care.

Are you ready to address unsightly gaps with dental implants? If you are wondering how much a dental implant costs near you in Phoenix, you are not alone, but first, you need to find a Phoenix dentist who can offer implant dentistry. Doctors Network can help you with this, connecting you to a dentist who not only can address your concerns about missing teeth, but also works with United Healthcare. You can even register for a Doctors Network dental plan to decrease the cost of your procedure.

The dentist will take a close look at your smile. Underlying issues such as periodontitis may need to be addressed before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer quality prosthetics that look and function like natural teeth!
