Dr. Wang won the Case Presentation Award for Excellence in 2019 and was also recognized by the Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. Today, she is a member of the International Team for Implantology (ITI), the Academy of Osseointegration, and the National Honor Dental Society. She is a Fellow with ITI and gives lectures for continuing education courses.

Once she completed her education, Dr. D became a practicing dentist and worked for 11 years before opening Dougherty Dental Solutions in 2018.
