I’ve never enjoyed going to the dentist until I found them! I was in a lot of pain and needed an emergency root canal. They walked me through the procedure, and my first root canal was pain free! I actually almost fell asleep during the procedure!

The last place a friend referred to me did not do a great job, I left that place still in pain. They also always claimed there was nothing wrong with my teeth. I hate visiting the dentist so much that I haven’t been in years, but when I finally decided it was time to come in I was very anxious when I came in for my first visit at Academy Dental in Hamilton, NJ. I’ve been having a lot of toothaches and wanted to see what was going on. The staff strived to make comfortable and were very kind. I was only in there for two hours, but they found the problem and fixed it right away. I had imagined that this would be just an assessment and then I would have to make another appointment to get the work done, but they were able to get it all done then and there. I went back a week ago for a cleaning and some fillings and everything was super easy. I'm so happy to no longer be in pain because of toothaches, and my teeth look and feel great. Dr. Amir is heaven sent! I called around and got ridiculous prices on consultation fees, then I found Dr. Amir! During my first appointment, Dr. Amir explained each procedure I could get done for my chipped teeth. I felt it was explained honestly and thoroughly about bonding, veneers, and porcelain crowns. And the cost was much less than I’d been quoted at other places. I cannot explain how grateful I am to have met this dentist! For sure the best in the Brooklyn area!

They have vaulted ceilings that let in natural light, the latest and greatest in technology, and an awesome staff that is very nice and easy to talk to. Going to the dentist can often seem like a chore, but this class makes it easy and even dare I say enjoyable. You’ll always feel like you got the best cleaning here, which is often not the case. And it’s never painful. Scraping tools can often be unpleasant, but they use an ultrasonic cleaning method that is very calming. They even give you a warm towel when you’re done with your cleaning, which seemed very first class to me!

I’ve been a patient of Shay Dental for several years, beginning in 2009. I first met Dr. Shay during an emergency visit for a root canal. I saw him because my other dentist said I needed to wait a week for an appointment. I could tell they cared about me and my condition, and they saw me within 15 minutes. They made a great first impression on me with their attentiveness and caring. Even though I’ve moved away from New York since then, I always travel to this dentist office. I adore the staff there. They do allow walk-ins and they have business hours that work with my busy schedule so that I could come in at 6pm after work. I didn't know what to expect going to the dentist in the US, I just moved here from Russia and to my surprise it was great. I made an appointment for the earliest time available. Came in with little to almost no wait time and was able to explain my situation/tooth concerns without feeling uncomfortable. I never once felt judged or pressured into making any decision. The hygienist used an anesthetic agent because I have very sensitive gums. The clean, cozy office and kind staff made this place worth the visit. This place is awesome. Dr. Shcheglov and his staff are wonderful. It is a very relaxing atmosphere, and they are all friendly and easy to talk to. I’ve had a lot of work done this year and they’re always willing to talk me through everything step-by-step from care, treatment, and financial. They have the option of care credit, which is great. I’ve done Invisalign with them, and am happy with how my teeth look.

If I could give more than 5 stars for this place, I would. This Rego Park dentist office is beautiful. The staff is very kind and professional. You won’t have to worry about your insurance or dental plans here. This place is almost like a spa, they have wax-hand dipped warming gloves and blankets for if their patients get cold. The dental hygienists are very friendly. Dr. Thomopoulos was great, she was thorough during my exam and took some photos so I could see the fillings I had before, but also a new cavity. She was willing to go through all my questions and was very careful with my teeth. I always hated going to the dentist, but now I feel completely at ease with Dr. Thomopoulos, she made me feel like I wasn’t just another patient, but rather a human being. I’ve referred her to everyone I know. I am a big fan of chapstick, and the free chapsticks here are awesome. Just another reason this place is awesome!

We first started coming to Elite Dental because it was on my husband's insurance list. We have continued going because Dr. Isakharov is kind, gentle, and professional. We’ve never had to wait long to get in and while everything is done thoroughly and efficiently, it’s also quick. We’ve even been in and out in less than 35 minutes for a regular cleaning and x-ray session. We both really like Dr. Isakharov.

I really needed a new dentist when I found this place, I took a chance and I’m so glad I did. The office is spotless and organized. It is small, but I don’t mind that. They treat you like an individual here, and they aren’t worried about treating as many patients as possible. They treat you like a human being. The front office staff is helpful and nice. They will call you to remind you about your upcoming appointment and will even do a follow-up call a couple days after your appointment. Dr. Normatov is awesome. I came in for a deep cleaning and a checkup and she was very professional and easy to talk to, which made me feel comfortable and satisfied with the service I received. She did the cleaning herself, which is something I wasn’t expecting. We even got to talk about food. Again, she’s easy to talk to and really knows her stuff. I’m actually excited to go back and see her.

I had the most pleasant experience at Dr. Borgella’s dental office today. The whole staff is nice and accommodating. I haven't been to a dentist in over 12 years. The dental assistant and the dentist, Dr. Borgella, made me feel very comfortable. We laughed a lot talking through treatments. I didn't feel judged about the condition of my teeth, or for not having seen a dentist for so many years. They gave me a wonderful gift bag full of useful items; it's a great gesture that made me feel special. The cost of my treatment was more affordable than I thought! I'm going back on Monday to have a broken tooth capped. Dr. Borgella took a lot of time explaining the results of my x-rays. He even removed a popcorn shell that had inflamed my gums and prevented me from eating solid food for a couple of days. Overall, an incredible experience, highly recommend Dr. Borgella DDS in the Bronx .

I’m a fairly new patient here, but I already love Dr. Aknouk. I’ve never had to wait, and when I had to bring my kids with me the team loves to keep them busy. Dr. Aknouk is kind and professional. He goes over my options with me going over the pros and cons of the different treatment plans. He also helped me figure out that I am allergic to certain crowns, which helped me get rid of my cold sensitivity. He is affordable and whenever I call about dental problems they’re able to get me in on the same day. I can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you need a dentist in the Bronx.

I’d heard an advertisement on the radio and decided to give Dr. Hassid a shot. The ad said to come in no matter how scared of the dentist you were, and I have an extreme phobia. I needed my teeth cleaned and even some teeth extracted. Dr. Hassid did a double root canal, a couple bridges, and some implants. The receptionist staff was kind and everyone here was very helpful, from the office staff, to the dentist, to the dental assistants. They were all very knowledgeable and friendly. I felt like family coming here, and anyone in the area should check them out.
