Dr. Mehran Azar graduated with honors from the University of Miami with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. He then graduated from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He completed a General Practice Residency program at Hackensack University Medical Center. During his education, Dr. Azar earned the Ash. B. Merit Scholarship as well as the Clark Foundation Scholarship, among other honors. Before joining the Connecticut Dental Group, he was a consulting dentist with MetLife Insurance Company.

The prices are comparable to or better than other local dentists, and they work well with a variety of insurance companies. The hygienist is very kind and helpful. She strives to treat each of her patients with kindness in a welcoming, comfortable environment that puts them at ease and diminishes any fears and phobias they might have. The root canal I had last week was one of the best dental experiences I’ve had thus far. 1. I arrived 20 minutes early, but they took me back to the chair right away. 2. The staff listened to my concerns and dental history. Dr. Babayev didn’t make me feel guilty about my poor oral health. 3. The root canal took less than 45 minutes, 4. I didn’t experience any pain. 5. I have some genetic defects, but they expertly worked around these issues. 6. The procedure actually cost less than the quote I’d been given. The staff at BH Franklin Dental is great. There is very little staff turnover, which speaks volumes about how they operate their practice.

I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

Just had my visit to Queens Central Dental in Jackson Heights . Was in desperate need of a cleaning and my regular dentist was booked. Dr. Ames drove an incredible experience, as everyone was friendly, professional, warm and personable. I experienced the most thorough, detailed exam that I've ever received. Hands-down will be going there from now on.

I don’t normally write reviews online, but I had such an amazing recent visit at Soft Touch Dental Care in Forest Hills, NY that I wanted to tell people about it. I’m a regular patient at Soft Touch, but I usually only go in for routine cleanings. But this time I was in a lot of pain and needed help. I called on a Tuesday during after-hours and they got me in the next morning at 7:30 a.m.. The staff was very kind and gentle with me. Dr. Normatov has a very comfortable office. She is very caring and kind. I actually fell asleep in the chair, that’s how comfortable I was. She provides excellent care. I have zero pain now, and I didn’t have any pain while she was working on me. I can’t thank Dr. Normatov and her staff enough.

I can’t believe I’m actually looking forward to going back to the dentist in 6 months. I went to Queens Dental Care after receiving a promotional flyer and reading some online reviews. I had an X-ray and comprehensive exam, including a consult with Dr. Sandhu. I received a referral to an oral surgeon and was able to book a cleaning. The hygienist used an anesthetic agent because I have very sensitive gums. The clean, cozy office and kind staff made this place worth the visit. I was also impressed that they have a membership option for patients like me who are without dental insurance. I love Queens Dental Care.

My family and I have finally found a great dentist here in Medford. We have been coming to see Dr. Frank Perry for years now and have only received the absolute best dental care. Dr. Perry is wise in his ways, very knowledgeable and polite. The staff are all very friendly. They work very carefully with me because they know I have terribly sensitive teeth. I have been going to Lucky Dental in Rego Park, NY for quite a while now. I have been to a few different offices in the area, but none of them have been able to compare to Dr. Azbel. Everyone at this clinic has been so friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make me comfortable during my visits, from cleanings to complex procedures. The gift bags they give after cleanings I tend to keep at my office, it makes for a great emergency stash. I have never been pushed into unnecessary work, and they always use top notch technology. They are very meticulous and gentle. The staff actually keeps up with me and asks about my family. They noticed a change in my paperwork and that I now wear a wedding band, and have frequently asked how everything is going. I cannot recommend this office enough.

It had been a while since I’d been to the dentist, but I needed to go, so I chose Glendale Dental. Having recently acquired dental insurance, I scheduled a cleaning and X-ray. When I got there, Dr. Cukier was very friendly. I’ve never really taken brushing and flossing seriously, but he helped me understand the importance of it. It was nice to see someone genuinely concerned with my oral health. I was curious about what to do better, and he eagerly provided very helpful advice. I’ll receive a reminder in 6 months when it is time to come back in for another cleaning. It’s very convenient to schedule appointments. Dr. Cukier is a hardworking, high-class professional.

When it comes to the dentist, I'm a big pansy and this was the most enjoyable experience I have ever had. The entire team at Armstrong Dental Studio was amazing! It feels a little odd to rate my dentist like other services, but I do think Dr. Rosen is the best dentist I have ever had. I have been his patient for a few years now. You can ask for the noise canceling headphones if you are having a more extended procedure. I have visited with all the hygienists at this office in Cedarhurst, NY. They all have a great sense of humor and do such a great job. Dr. Rosen will sit down and explain the process to you as deep or shallow as you want, and never appears to be in a rush. This office is so honest, and they will let you choose the course of action for when you are ready for it. I cannot recommend Dr. Alan Rosen enough!
