Dr. Mehran Azar graduated with honors from the University of Miami with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. He then graduated from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He completed a General Practice Residency program at Hackensack University Medical Center. During his education, Dr. Azar earned the Ash. B. I love the beautiful office and awesome staff. The hygienists are gentle when cleaning. Dr. Kaminsky and his staff pay attention to detail, which some dental practices seem to forget. For example, they remind you about your appointments in advance and don’t make you spend an eternity in the waiting room. While they do offer cosmetic services (whitening, straightening, even an oral cancer screening,) they don’t bother you if you decline.

I called Dr. Sandhu’s office this afternoon. I was actually parking in front my regular dentist’s office, but they couldn’t schedule me for an appointment today. I spoke to the kind staff of the Westbury Smile Center the office, and they scheduled within the hour. This was the best dental experience I have ever had. Dr. Sandhu was so kind and personable. I have braces, so she discussed, in detail, how to properly brush, which I had not previously been informed of. She then gave me this cream for the demineralization of my teeth due to my braces. I left with a little dental care package. Thankfully, I didn’t need any additional work done besides the cleaning, but this will be my dentist from now on. I wholeheartedly recommend the Westbury Smile Center in Westbury, NY!

Dr. Reznik and Big Apple Dental had been our dentist in Wyandanch, NY for a long time, so we trusted him. Change can be hard to handle, So when we moved we were sad that we might have to change dentist. But Dr. Reznik is such a great dentist, that we are willing to drive two hours. The office staff is very is very kind and knowledgeable. I’ve had the same hygienist for a while now, and that’s what really matters to me because that is all I really need normally. I’m very lucky that Dr. Reznik is on this dental plan because then my routine cleanings and x-rays are only $25.00!

I recently moved to Levittown, NY, but after doing my research I am happy I found a great dentist. Island Smile Dental is great. I’m a fairly new patient here, but I already love Dr. Aknouk. I’ve never had to wait, and when I had to bring my kids with me the team loves to keep them busy. Dr. Aknouk is kind and professional. He goes over my options with me going over the pros and cons of the different treatment plans. He also helped me figure out that I am allergic to certain crowns, which helped me get rid of my cold sensitivity. He is affordable and whenever I call about dental problems they’re able to get me in on the same day. I can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you need a dentist in the Bronx.

Dr. Borgella’s office environment is very lively and nice. The people seem to enjoy their work and go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Dr Reginald Borgella was very nice, gentle, and knowledgeable. The hygienist was excellent and checked for things that my prior dentist did not check for gingivitis and other gum diseases. The office was very clean and modern with all the latest gadgets. They were able to do everything on site. After my recommendation, the whole Church plans to come to this Bronx office because they really care about their patients - God bless them!

I loved the reviews that he received, so I made my appointment and was beyond impressed with how well the receptionist handled my new patient info over the phone. At my appointment, I felt very comfortable talking about my dental history as well as my concerns. The hygienist took x-rays and then Dr. Kaufman came in to meet with me and discuss what he saw. I was relieved when he told me I had nothing to worry about. I just needed a routine cleaning. Dr. Kaufman and his staff are incredibly inviting. This place is awesome. Dr. Shcheglov and his staff are wonderful. It is a very relaxing atmosphere, and they are all friendly and easy to talk to. I’ve had a lot of work done this year and they’re always willing to talk me through everything step-by-step from care, treatment, and financial. They have the option of care credit, which is great. I’ve done Invisalign with them, and am happy with how my teeth look.

Initially, I had no idea where the office was because I'm new to the Jackson Heights area. So, I had to call back a few times to get directions. The Queens Central Dental staff was so patient with me, helping guide me to the office. I filled out a few papers, and was taken back almost immediately. When I was taken back, I was greeted by friendly and very caring staff that were very gentle while taking my x-rays. They thoroughly explained everything was going to happen during the check-up, and I sat for only a few minutes before Dr. Ames came in to give me my exam. They too were very friendly, caring, and informed. They explained to me about what was going on with my teeth. I didn't have to ask a think, which was great. Everyone made me feel very comfortable. I have had the same dentist my entire life, but after marrying a Marine and moving away from home, I could no longer see my favorite; Dr. Ames thus had big shoes to fill, but I must say... so far, he's knocking it out of the park! When leaving, they gave me a bag, a tumbler cup, a nail file, and... A FLOWER! I couldn’t believe it! It's the little things in life that count! Queens Central Dental truly cares about their patients, which shows in their thoughtful attitudes and actions. So, if you're looking for a dentist, I HIGHLY recommend these guys!

I don’t normally write reviews online, but I had such an amazing recent visit at Soft Touch Dental Care in Forest Hills, NY that I wanted to tell people about it. I’m a regular patient at Soft Touch, but I usually only go in for routine cleanings. But this time I was in a lot of pain and needed help. I called on a Tuesday during after-hours and they got me in the next morning at 7:30 a.m.. The staff was very kind and gentle with me. Dr. Normatov has a very comfortable office. She is very caring and kind. I actually fell asleep in the chair, that’s how comfortable I was. She provides excellent care. I have zero pain now, and I didn’t have any pain while she was working on me. I can’t thank Dr. Normatov and her staff enough.

I came here after putting off going to the dentist for a long time. I’m so glad I did. Dr. Isakharov was great, very thorough and helpful. I liked that they used current technology for x-raying my teeth. Dr. Isakharov was nice and really made me feel comfortable when I found out I have several cavities now. My treatment plan was explained to me and I’m now on my second visit. I would definitely recommend Dr. Isakharov and Elite Dental.

If I could give more than 5 stars for this place, I would. This Rego Park dentist office is beautiful. The staff is very kind and professional. You won’t have to worry about your insurance or dental plans here. This place is almost like a spa, they have wax-hand dipped warming gloves and blankets for if their patients get cold. The dental hygienists are very friendly. Dr. Thomopoulos was great, she was thorough during my exam and took some photos so I could see the fillings I had before, but also a new cavity. She was willing to go through all my questions and was very careful with my teeth. I always hated going to the dentist, but now I feel completely at ease with Dr. Thomopoulos, she made me feel like I wasn’t just another patient, but rather a human being. I’ve referred her to everyone I know. I am a big fan of chapstick, and the free chapsticks here are awesome. Just another reason this place is awesome!

Dr. Sandhu and her team at Queens Dental Care are life-changing. As a mom, it’s a bit embarrassing to get braces, but they explained everything in a very detailed manner and graciously accommodated me when I needed to cancel or reschedule appointments. The staff is great with kids. My son has had to come along to my appointments, and they don’t mind at all. Queens Dental Care is the best place in Jackson Heights, NY to go for all your dental needs.

I didn't know what to expect going to the dentist in the US, I just moved here from Russia and to my surprise it was great. I made an appointment for the earliest time available. Came in with little to almost no wait time and was able to explain my situation/tooth concerns without feeling uncomfortable. I never once felt judged or pressured into making any decision. I came across Dr. Azbel at Lucky Dental, and this is now my permanent dentist office. They went out of their way to make me comfortable and took the initiative to educate their patients. The staff did such a great job working with my dental insurance, Delta Dental of New York, that I walked out without owing them a cent.

My daughter and I started going to Dr. Minkowitz in Maspeth a couple months ago. A couple friends recommended them, so I thought we’d give them a shot. We’ve been very satisfied so far. The front office staff is nice and helpful when it comes to scheduling around our busy schedules, billing insurance, and figuring out the headache that is payments. The hygienists always do a great job and give me great tips about my dental health. Dr. Minkowitz is very nice. I’ve gotten a couple crowns and other dental work done by him. It’s really been great. He even offered to give me a new mouth guard without charging me because he thought I might like a thinner one. My 10 year old daughter also loves this place. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

I’ve been to a solid number of dentists in my years, but Glendale Dental has my business. The strive for the highest customer satisfaction, which includes remembering your name and talking to you like a person, not a customer. Dr. Cukier made sure I was well informed about the work I needed done before each procedure. It’s nice to know he cares about comfort. I haven't really believed all the wonderful reviews. I'm very pleased to have made the appointment and to have followed through with it. When it comes to the dentist, I'm a big pansy and this was the most enjoyable experience I have ever had. The entire team at Armstrong Dental Studio was amazing! If I could give more than 5 stars, I totally would. I went to Shay Dental because I had a failed dental implant. I had tried 2 other clinics, but I just didn’t feel confident in the skills of the staff. A friend of mine recommended Shay Dental. Seriously, I could have skipped reading all of the reviews because Dr. Shay was just amazing. I was so happy that he repaired my implant correctly the first time. His skills are top-notch. If I could give 6 stars, I totally would. They saved me time and money, not to mention pain. The office space is so clean, and they are great with their practice of infection control. Going forward, my entire family will go to Shay Dental for our dental care as long as we live here in New York!

I can’t say enough good things about Smile by Choice. They do great work and are great people. This dentist office in the Upper West Side, Manhattan was right down the street from my office, and so I started going here about 3 months ago. I now work downtown Manhattan, but I still come here for the great dental service. I love going to my cleanings twice a year. I’ve never missed a dental appointment. Smile by Choice is very high quality dentistry in New York, NY. They have vaulted ceilings that let in natural light, the latest and greatest in technology, and an awesome staff that is very nice and easy to talk to. Going to the dentist can often seem like a chore, but this class makes it easy and even dare I say enjoyable. You’ll always feel like you got the best cleaning here, which is often not the case. And it’s never painful. Scraping tools can often be unpleasant, but they use an ultrasonic cleaning method that is very calming. They even give you a warm towel when you’re done with your cleaning, which seemed very first class to me!

Dr. Lerner and his staff are lovely. I had such a positive experience thanks to the receptionist and the hygienist. Having come from the UK, I was apprehensive about going to a dentist in the US. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Kalyanaraman at G.K. Raman DDS in Brooklyn, NY for quite a while. I recently moved from Brooklyn to Stamford, CT, but I still schedule my dentist appointments around my scheduled trips back to Brooklyn. The staff here is professional, friendly, and helpful. Every procedure has been covered by my insurance. It’s just about time to call and schedule an appointment for a cleaning, and I’ll be in Brooklyn next month to visit family. I’ll make sure to get this appointment in then--I won’t even consider switching to a dentist nearer my new home in Connecticut. Dr. Kalyanaraman is the best!

When I told my friend that my dentist in Brooklyn was about to retire she recommended Dr. Grinberg. As someone who hates the dentist, I was a bit nervous. I don’t handle anesthetics well and I’ve had some bad experiences with dentists in the past. I’ve had root canals, cavities, and crowns. He was knowledgeable, gentle, and friendly. He gave me some great tips to improve my dental health, and he is much more up to date with his knowledge about technology and procedures than my former dentist. The office staff is kind and they helped me figure out all the Doctors Network stuff so that I didn’t have any surprise. I would recommend Dr. Grinberg to anyone!

Dr. Sebold and the staff are wonderful, from chair-side manners, to the quality of their work. For my initial assessment, I had previously used up my x-ray allotment for the year and was worried that I wouldn't be able to be seen, so I had my previous dentist send over the records. Dr. Sebold said it would be better for her to have a new set, so they ran them for free! I have troublesome teeth and no one on the staff made me feel guilty or ashamed for all the work I needed to get done. The hygienist even shared in my troubles because she has weak enamel herself and gave me tips for getting the most out of my prescription toothpaste. I really felt like Dr. Sebold and the entire Brooklyn office were very upfront and trustworthy about what needed to be done AND importantly how much it would cost. For my next appointment, I went in for… a number of cavities… one of which turned out to need a root canal and Dr. Sebold worked through her lunch to complete it so that I would not have to come back later and be in pain in the meantime – incredible. While a root canal is never fun, she made mine as painless as possible by constantly reassessing my discomfort and adding Novocain as needed - I barely felt a thing! I highly appreciate that kind of genuine care - I have suffered through tooth pain before and am very grateful she went the extra mile to spare me that. Short summary: Candy Sebold DDS is a friendly, accommodating practice that does quality, comfortable work and really cares about their patients - I could not recommend them highly enough.

They do walk-ins and you can schedule an appointment. They offer multiple types of sedation to make you as relaxed as possible. Dr. Grinberg is nice and gentle. They provide a wide arrange of services so you won’t have to go anywhere else. They’re truly the best.
