I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

My family has been going to Dr. Borgella for the past three years since moving to the Bronx area. My daughter and son in law convinced us to go to Dr. Borgella as they felt they were the best dentist ever. So glad we listened to them, and headed over to Reginald Borgella DDS. Best front staff, hygienists are gentle but very thorough and the absolute best team for all dental work. We were with no wait and I find I do not dread spending time in the dentist chair, weird! Sounds too good to be true, but I assure you they are great!

She’s very personal, she always remembers what’s going on in her patients’ lives. Shay Dental is the only place I’ve been able to take my teenage daughter who is terrified of the dentist. Dr. Shay was so kind to him and calmed his nerves as soon as he stepped foot in the office. He patiently explained every step of the process and checked on how he was doing. Dr. Shay said we could even come back for a second cleaning visit if need be. The moment I saw my daughter smiling as she walked out of the dentist's office, I knew we had found the one. The next day, Dr. Shay followed up with a sweet note telling my daughter how well he did. Dr. Lerner not only has a great personality but also is a great dentist. He genuinely cares about his patients and gives honest recommendations about the work that needs to be done. He respects his patients’ wishes and does not try to pressure them into getting services that they don't actually need. The office does a great job at accommodating my busy schedule and has even scheduled me for appointments with very little notice. I appreciate how willing they are to help. I had an X-ray and comprehensive exam, including a consult with Dr. Sandhu. I received a referral to an oral surgeon and was able to book a cleaning. The hygienist used an anesthetic agent because I have very sensitive gums. The clean, cozy office and kind staff made this place worth the visit. I was also impressed that they have a membership option for patients like me who are without dental insurance. I love Queens Dental Care.

I love Dr. Minkowitz. I’ve gotten a cleaning and a cavity checkup done here. My teeth look great. They do allow walk-ins and they have business hours that work with my busy schedule so that I could come in at 6pm after work. A filling that was less than 6 months old broke one day and I was able to schedule an appointment with them almost immediately. The hygienists are very nice and easy to talk to. I have been going to Lucky Dental in Rego Park, NY for quite a while now. I have been to a few different offices in the area, but none of them have been able to compare to Dr. Azbel. Everyone at this clinic has been so friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make me comfortable during my visits, from cleanings to complex procedures. The gift bags they give after cleanings I tend to keep at my office, it makes for a great emergency stash. I have never been pushed into unnecessary work, and they always use top notch technology. They are very meticulous and gentle. The staff actually keeps up with me and asks about my family. They noticed a change in my paperwork and that I now wear a wedding band, and have frequently asked how everything is going. I cannot recommend this office enough.

I found Glendale Dental through a friend. This was the first time I’ve actually felt comfortable with a dentist. I recently needed a new upper denture made. I’d had the previous one for 26 years. I appreciated how detail-oriented Dr. Cukier was. He made sure that it fits properly and that it aligned correctly. My former dentist passed away, and I was skeptical that I’d find another one who was as good as him. I certainly didn’t think I’d ever feel so comfortable with a dentist again, but I was wrong. I’d refer friends and family to Glendale Dental without so much as a second thought.

Wow!! This place is wonderful The staff is personable and kind. I’ve put off going to the dentist for a long time, but I finally came when I was having pain in one of my back teeth. I needed a root canal with a crown. Dr. Kalyanaraman at G.K. Raman DDS, Brooklyn, NY explained how everything would go and why it was important to get it done. Everything turned out great, and I am no longer having any pain because of that tooth. I have to go back in about a week or two to finish up the treatment, and I’ll continue going to Dr. Kalyanaraman’s office for my cleanings and other dental work. Thank you so much, Dr. Kalyanaraman! I've gone to Dr. Sebold for the past few years and am very happy with service across the board at Candy Sebold DDS. Dr. Sebold is great with children, and in addition to basic competency, is really considerate in ways I haven't experienced with other dentists in Brooklyn . I’m terrified of the dentist, so I’d rather do just about anything else. Though I still don’t like going to my dental visits, Everlasting Smiles Dental is the best dentist near me, and I’ve been to a lot of them! In my previous experiences, I either discovered a fantastic staff with a horrible dentist or a great dentist with a terrible hygienist and office staff who made you feel like a burden. But Dr. Afridi’s dental practice is the best of both worlds. The staff is so friendly and kind, and the super-professional hygienists put your comfort first. The receptionist/bookkeeper always helps me navigate my insurance and what I owe as well as scheduling appointments. All the great reviews are true. Though I did wait a little bit, I’ve had to wait longer at other places, and I guarantee they only made me wait because patients weren’t coming in on time, which will push back all the other appointments after it. Or maybe Dr. Afridi was tending to an emergency and wanted to make sure his patient was being taken care of. I would happily wait a long time if needed just to get the high level of service and dental care this place has to offer, knowing that once I get in the dental chair, they won’t rush me out to keep on schedule. He even went over my X-rays. I felt very content in my decisions and the vibes the staff gave; there is no pressure to get anything fixed right away. Even if you're coming from out of town, his service is worth the trip!

Back in September I was in between jobs and could not afford dental insurance in Levittown. Dr. Mekawy and their staff gave me information on a dental plan for people who can’t normally afford dental care. That’s just how awesome they are. I went in thinking I had two cavities that needed to be filled. I was in a little bit of pain because of them. I explained what had been going on and gave her a document that my primary dentist in Levittown had given me, which said what dental work I needed. Because of this payment plan, I am now able to afford the dental work that needs to be done that otherwise I could not afford it.
