Turns out, larger screw old school implants are not supported by all dentist, but some are happy to charge you money to tell you that (despite giving them the specifications ahead of time). Anyways, I was careful to screen dentists in Brooklyn after I was misled by another dentist when I was back home for a "free consultation" that was certainly not free, as they charged my insurance. Dr. Sebold and staff not only made sure that they could work on the type of implant I had put in; they even secured a pre-authorization letter very quickly. I am forever grateful for the help in moving along in the dental implant process. My #18 molar has been missing the opportunity to chew on tougher foods. Dr. Sebold’s office is clean and very modern. Highly recommend.

I went to Dr. Lerner's office for a check-up, cleaning, and filling. It was the best dental experience I've had to date. I don't usually write online reviews, and I never expected to write a review of a dental office, especially considering I am not exactly a fan of dentists. But, I have to give credit where credit is due. Dr. Lerner told me that I would be pain-free during the procedure, and he was right. He and his team are incredible. They gave me great customer service and helped deal with all the logistics of my situation. I’ve been a patient at Hamilton Smiles for over a year now, and I love it. You never have to wait here. I trust Dr. Goyal and her staff completely, with anything from a root canal to a cleaning. I can’t say enough good things about Smile by Choice. They do great work and are great people. This dentist office in the Upper West Side, Manhattan was right down the street from my office, and so I started going here about 3 months ago. I now work downtown Manhattan, but I still come here for the great dental service. I love going to my cleanings twice a year. I’ve never missed a dental appointment. Smile by Choice is very high quality dentistry in New York, NY. They have vaulted ceilings that let in natural light, the latest and greatest in technology, and an awesome staff that is very nice and easy to talk to. Going to the dentist can often seem like a chore, but this class makes it easy and even dare I say enjoyable. You’ll always feel like you got the best cleaning here, which is often not the case. And it’s never painful. Scraping tools can often be unpleasant, but they use an ultrasonic cleaning method that is very calming. They even give you a warm towel when you’re done with your cleaning, which seemed very first class to me!

Shay Dental is the only place I’ve been able to take my teenage daughter who is terrified of the dentist. Dr. Shay was so kind to him and calmed his nerves as soon as he stepped foot in the office. Yesterday I brought my son to Armstrong Dental Studio for routine cleaning. I could not be more satisfied with our appointment. Setting the appointment itself was so easy. The whole team was so courteous and friendly at the reception. The facility is not only clean but gorgeous. We didn't wait more than 5mins to be seen (which with a stressed child was a relief). Once in the room the hygienist was very courteous and helped put my son at ease. He was so excited about the tech they had. The hygienist took time explaining what different tools she was using and showed my son how they worked. The dentist, Dr. Armstrong, was nice and also made my son feel relaxed. If you have made it this far in my review the finest part was at dinner my son was telling his two older brothers about his appointment... and by the end of his story, they all were excited to go to the dentist too!!! A MAJOR MOM WIN FOR SURE! So happy to have found the BEST dentist in New York!

A co-worker recommended Dr. Thomopoulos when I moved to Rego Park in 2017, and I love it there. They truly care about their patients and make sure your comfortable when you’re getting your dental work done. A filling that was less than 6 months old broke one day and I was able to schedule an appointment with them almost immediately. The hygienists are very nice and easy to talk to. The hygienist seems to truly care about my health, she has given me a lot of advice on how to make sure my teeth stay healthy and how to avoid plaque and tartar build up in troublesome areas. Anyone in Rego Park should come to Dr. Thomopoulos!

My experience with Dr. Rosen was very positive. I had never received a crown before and was anxious. The staff was very understanding and made my experience more positive than I anticipated. I appreciated that Dr. Rosen didn’t try to pressure me into getting additional procedures, as I’ve been “upsold” in the past. Dr. Rosen just does what you need.

Dr. Sandhu and the staff are truly exceptional by being welcoming and being on time with their appointment schedules. Dentist visits can be intimidating, but with this office, I feel content and secure that I am being managed well. Dr. Sandhu is pleasant and answers all questions. The last dentist I went to was pretty rude, so my opinion of Elite Dental might be biased a little bit. Having said that, I highly respect Dr. Isakharov and staff. I had some sores near the corners of my mouth that have bothered me off and on for the last couple of years. I had always treated them as cold sores, but Dr. Isakharov said no and gave me an over-the-counter treatment option that has cleared it right up. The cleaning technique was so gentle - no cranking my jaw open or twisting my neck around. The previous dentist hadn’t been nearly as considerate. Quite pleased with the service I received.

I selected Queens Central Dental because they are right next door in Jackson Heights , they open early and have some Saturday hours. Now that I've had my first experience, I'd come back no matter what the hours! Queens Central Dental is my new go-to for all things dental. The staff were polite, professional, and friendly. The office is very clean and has modern tech. Dr. Ames is a top-notch dentist. And for the record, I am not the biggest fan of dentists. She is thorough, provides a great deal of information and has a very warm, comforting manner.

I’d heard an advertisement on the radio and decided to give Dr. Hassid a shot. The ad said to come in no matter how scared of the dentist you were, and I have an extreme phobia. I needed my teeth cleaned and even some teeth extracted. Dr. Hassid did a double root canal, a couple bridges, and some implants. The receptionist staff was kind and everyone here was very helpful, from the office staff, to the dentist, to the dental assistants. They were all very knowledgeable and friendly. I felt like family coming here, and anyone in the area should check them out.

The root canal I had last week was one of the best dental experiences I’ve had thus far. 1. I arrived 20 minutes early, but they took me back to the chair right away. 2. The staff listened to my concerns and dental history. Dr. Babayev didn’t make me feel guilty about my poor oral health. 3. The root canal took less than 45 minutes, 4. I didn’t experience any pain. 5. I have some genetic defects, but they expertly worked around these issues. 6. The procedure actually cost less than the quote I’d been given. The staff at BH Franklin Dental is great. There is very little staff turnover, which speaks volumes about how they operate their practice.

Dr. Borgella simply went above and beyond, they are that amazing. Boy have I learned a lot about other dental offices in the Bronx region. After going to several other dental offices in 2016 I vowed to change my insurance back just so that I could come back to Reginald Borgella DDS and it was the best decision ever. Their staff is professional, kind, informed, and friendly. They know what they're doing and are honest about what's going on with your dental health. As a great example, the dental office I went to three months ago told me I had 4 cavities that needed fillings; here I was told that I only had 2 small ones. I just got back from filling those 2, without lidocaine and without pain! A seamless experience - I was in and out of there in less than 30 minutes. Dr. Borgella is the dentist you want to go to. Where the other dentists just wanted to slap on a nightguard, they did a thorough assessment and showed me better options, even figuring out the main cause of my tmj, that other dentists/orthodontists didn't realize before. Making appointments at Dr. Borgella’s is a breeze and those staff at the front desk are so great. Everyone working here makes you feel cared for and truly does what they can to make you comfortable. The waiting room is also super comfy and relaxed.

Was better than okay though; C K Galdieri made me feel SO comfortable and walked me through each step one by one. I was put at ease right from the get-go; everyone is so warm and caring. I am very picky with my dentist, but I am so at ease with C K Galdieri since I know I can trust them completely, more than anyone else in the Elmwood Park area. I know a lot of people feel nervous about going to the dentist, but with Dr. Galdieri and the team at C K Galdieri, I feel so so comfortable! I highly highly recommend C K Galdieri for everything from the simplest to the most complex procedures. They are #1!

Can the dentist actually be fun? Yes! Go to Dr. Mangiaracina, and you’ll see. When I go here, my teeth are cleaned with such great care. The staff is both friendly and helpful. Plus, Dr. Mangiaracina is reasonable; she doesn’t try to pressure you to get unnecessary services. She is very honest about all your options. I’ve already recommended that my friends and family switch to Dr. Mangiaracina.

I owe a huge debt of gratitude to Dr. Richard Kaufman! My brother is handicapped and has diabetes, so he requires extra care. It is very important that he has a gentle and compassionate dentist who is willing to work with him. Dr. Kaufman is that dentist for us. He is very willing to listen to all of our concerns and does a great job on my brother's dental care. Dr. Kaufman did a great job monitoring my brother's healing process. So far he is healing very well, and there have not been any additional complication. Personally, I've been to seven different dentists in the past 20 years. One of my previous dentists suggested that I have all my teeth pulled and just get dentures. Dr. Kaufman said this was absolutely ridiculous. Dr. Kaufman specializes in implants, so he helps me devise a treatment plan that was a whole lot less drastic. I am highly satisfied with his work and Incredibly grateful that I have found such a wonderful dentist and friend. If you need dental treatment of any kind and live in the Uniondale, New York area, please do your teeth a favor and give Dr. Kaufman a call.

I was somewhat worried that my teeth were in horrible shape since it has been years since I have been seen. Dr. Sandhu and her staff reassured me everything was going to be ok, and that it's not nearly as bad as I thought it was. The entire team went out of their way to make me feel comfortable during my visit. I have a feeling that if Dr. Sandhu was my dentist when I was kid, I wouldn’t have so much anxiety or have neglected my teeth as I did. As it turned out, I had some cavities, and they fixed them up quickly. I was also in need of proper scaling. I plan on making this location in Westbury, NY my place for all of my dental needs. I also really enjoy the reminders they send out; it's hard to remember them with my busy schedule. If you are looking for a dentist that takes away your anxieties, this is the office for you!
