Shay Dental is the only place I’ve been able to take my teenage daughter who is terrified of the dentist. Dr. Shay was so kind to him and calmed his nerves as soon as he stepped foot in the office. He patiently explained every step of the process and checked on how he was doing. Dr. Shay said we could even come back for a second cleaning visit if need be. The moment I saw my daughter smiling as she walked out of the dentist's office, I knew we had found the one. The next day, Dr. Shay followed up with a sweet note telling my daughter how well he did. I can hardly put into words the way I feel about how helpful, kind, and incredibly skilled team is at G.K. Raman DDS in Brooklyn, NY. I hadn’t been to a dentist in two years, so I went in for a checkup/x-ray. The staff was great. They made sure that I felt comfortable; they even offered me a bottle of water while I waited. Dr. Kalyanaraman worked very quickly and professionally. He reviewed my x-rays and discussed the results with me. I had never actually seen my teeth nor had I ever had everything explained to me like that. I love this place.

I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

We just love Dr. Amir and the staff! My son got a broken front tooth during a soccer game and even though it was an emergency scheduling situation, we got in right away. Because of how kindly and efficiently they treated my son, he no longer has anxiety when going to the dentist. There isn't another dentist in Brooklyn I would trust with my child!!

I got Dr. Sebold’s info by googling and found that Candy Sebold DDS was close to where I live. My 79-year old mother was in excruciating pain from a tooth that needed to be pulled, so I called right away to set up an appointment. I called the office and got a very nice and knowledgeable staff person on the other end. He said the doctor could fit her in right away so we rushed over. Doctor Candy Sebold was wonderful, warm, knowledgeable and empathetic. Within an hour, my mom was beaming and telling jokes. The entire staff made us feel welcome. I cannot say enough about what a great Brooklyn experience it was, and I would highly recommend Dr. Sebold.

I love Dr. Minkowitz. I’ve gotten a cleaning and a cavity checkup done here. My teeth look great. They do allow walk-ins and they have business hours that work with my busy schedule so that I could come in at 6pm after work. I selected Queens Central Dental because they are right next door in Jackson Heights , they open early and have some Saturday hours. Now that I've had my first experience, I'd come back no matter what the hours! Queens Central Dental is my new go-to for all things dental. The staff were polite, professional, and friendly. The office is very clean and has modern tech. Dr. Ames is a top-notch dentist. And for the record, I am not the biggest fan of dentists. The staff makes this office feel so warm, and everyone is so willing to help you. The office is excellent, and they allowed me to watch some shows on my phone to ease my anxiety. Dr. Kaufman is very honest and efficient. I hadn't been to the dentist for quite some time, but I knew that choosing a dentist was similar to choosing someone who works on your car. You need someone that you can trust. You want someone who won't pressure you into getting extra work done and someone who will do a great job at an affordable rate. Dr. Kaufman was all of those things and more. I appreciated that he was very direct about what work needed to be done and gave me options as far as payment for the service. I needed six fillings, and the first three only took one hour. Overall, I cannot recommend this office highly enough. The staff is very compassionate, and the office is very inviting.

Dr. Mekawy and their staff gave me information on a dental plan for people who can’t normally afford dental care. That’s just how awesome they are. I went in thinking I had two cavities that needed to be filled. I was in a little bit of pain because of them. I explained what had been going on and gave her a document that my primary dentist in Levittown had given me, which said what dental work I needed. Because of this payment plan, I am now able to afford the dental work that needs to be done that otherwise I could not afford it.

I liked that they gave me a quote and stuck with it. I received a crown the same day. It was high quality, and I didn’t have any pain. The hygienist gave me the best cleaning I’ve had in my life.
