Shay Dental is the only place I’ve been able to take my teenage daughter who is terrified of the dentist. Dr. Shay was so kind to him and calmed his nerves as soon as he stepped foot in the office. He patiently explained every step of the process and checked on how he was doing. Dr. Shay said we could even come back for a second cleaning visit if need be. The moment I saw my daughter smiling as she walked out of the dentist's office, I knew we had found the one. The next day, Dr. Shay followed up with a sweet note telling my daughter how well he did. I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

I had the most pleasant experience at Dr. Borgella’s dental office today. The whole staff is nice and accommodating. I haven't been to a dentist in over 12 years. The dental assistant and the dentist, Dr. Borgella, made me feel very comfortable. We laughed a lot talking through treatments. I didn't feel judged about the condition of my teeth, or for not having seen a dentist for so many years. They gave me a wonderful gift bag full of useful items; it's a great gesture that made me feel special. The cost of my treatment was more affordable than I thought! I'm going back on Monday to have a broken tooth capped. Dr. Borgella took a lot of time explaining the results of my x-rays. He even removed a popcorn shell that had inflamed my gums and prevented me from eating solid food for a couple of days. Queens Dental Care in Jackson Heights provides the best dental care possible. They have quelled my longtime fear of going to the dentist. After having quit smoking a couple years ago, I decided to treat myself. The staff made custom bleaching trays. My teeth look great. They do a super job on cleanings too. I’m grateful Dr. Sandhu is my regular dentist. I’m so pleased with the level of service that I referred my elderly uncle. They have treated him with such kindness. He needed treatment for an infected rear tooth. The receptionist was able to schedule us immediately. Dr. Sandhu was very kind, informing him about every step of the process. Dr. Ames treats our family of four including the recent addition of elementary school aged children who previously went to a pediatric dentist. The youngest required her first filling (and shot, yikes!) this week and Dr. Ames and staff at Queens Central Dental distracted her, cheered her up, and, believe it or not, there was not a sighting of even a single tear! They showed her their tools and explained in an age-appropriate way what they would do. They were even patient and answered all her questions. She was kept comfortable and laughed during the visit in spite of arriving at the office right in Jackson Heights. I’d been struggling with a very painful infected tooth for multiple days. A good friend of mine recommended Dr. Cukier. I called the office earlier that morning and was able to be seen in less than an hour. The staff was polite, kind, and professional. They did an X-ray and consulted with me, showing me my X-rays and how the infection had spread. Dr. Cukier prescribed an antibiotic and painkiller. He sent me home to rest, and I went back a week later to have the tooth worked on. Dr. Cukier had a wonderful attitude. He was so friendly and professional. As soon as I stepped into the office, it was gorgeous - beautifully decorated and cozy. The receptionist was amazing, too! She was so caring and friendly. The exam rooms were so clean, and the dentist chair were pretty comfy. They gave me plenty of distractions while my teeth were getting cleaned. Dr. Khetani is very smart and didn’t try to upsell me on any procedures. Plus, she’s super thorough. She’s so great - she’s hilarious and put me right at ease. Plus, Dr. Mangiaracina is reasonable; she doesn’t try to pressure you to get unnecessary services. She is very honest about all your options.
