You won’t have to worry about your insurance or dental plans here. This place is almost like a spa, they have wax-hand dipped warming gloves and blankets for if their patients get cold. The dental hygienists are very friendly. Dr. Thomopoulos was great, she was thorough during my exam and took some photos so I could see the fillings I had before, but also a new cavity. She was willing to go through all my questions and was very careful with my teeth. I always hated going to the dentist, but now I feel completely at ease with Dr. Thomopoulos, she made me feel like I wasn’t just another patient, but rather a human being. I’ve referred her to everyone I know. I am a big fan of chapstick, and the free chapsticks here are awesome. Just another reason this place is awesome!

If I could give Dr. Babayev and BH Franklin Dental more than 5 stars, I would. Every appointment is a pleasant experience. I had major tooth pain one evening. I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

This morning, I needed to have a wisdom tooth extracted that was infected and giving me awful pain. From the start of the day when I called to inquire if Dr. Borgella was available, I was greeted kindly by the awesome staff person who answered the phone. She confirmed my insurance was accepted there, even giving an idea of what I'd pay for an extraction. Upon arriving in at Dr. Borgella’s office in Bronx, she nicely greeted me and proceeded to give me the paperwork to complete as a new patient. This is what was stunning to me, I was seen on time!! I went in, got my cleaning and met the dentist, Dr. Borgella, who was nice, informative, and clear. They told me things I needed done, in addition to the extraction, but did not pressure this as an upsell. Surgery was easy and quick! The only thing that hurt was getting the anesthesia in the roof of my mouth. Ten hours later, I have absolutely no pain, wow! I will be back to Dr. Borgella DDS. Everyone in the office was kind and professional and the prices are right on point.
