I recently moved to Levittown, NY, but after doing my research I am happy I found a great dentist. Island Smile Dental is great. The front office person is very knowledgeable, caring, and professional. I have my first appointment next week, and I am actually excited about it. I have a feeling I made the right choice, simply based on the great dental care I received so far.

I’m so glad I found Stuart Kaminsky DDS. Having been back for at least 5 appointments, I can honestly say that each time I left feeling clean. The staff is incredibly kind. They know their craft and don’t try to upsell you. Dr. Kaminsky is trustworthy and honest when recommending procedures and care. I personally love this level of honesty in a provider. My hygienist is great as well. She answers my questions and does an amazing job cleaning my teeth. I appreciate her patience. I never feel rushed when I’m in the chair. I definitely will be coming back for years to come.

Nobody actually likes going to the dentist. Personally, I detest x-rays because I have a strong gag reflex. Plus, I once had a traumatic experience at an out-of-state dentist. However, Dr. Mangiaracina and her staff make the process easy. My husband and I have been going here since we moved to Merrick. It’s the complete opposite of my previous experiences. Dr. Mangiaracina is incredible! She is personable and really knows how to put people at ease. The staff has lots of solutions for doing x-rays with ease. The injections and procedures are less painful as well. The staff is very friendly. They know my husband and I by name and even remember what we talked about at our previous visit. I love Dr. Mangiaracina. I strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a dentist.

I am just thrilled with my service from Dr. Rafya Sandhu at Westbury Smile Center. She is so welcoming, patient, very experienced, and a complete professional. They are transparent and explain every step along the way. During my first appointment, we did the usual x-rays, exam, and consultation. They told me of the problem areas and how to address them. They didn’t attempt to push me into paying for unnecessary products or procedures. Dr. Sandhu’s chairside manner is just remarkable, and her dedication to her work and her passion guarantees that she will do everything to the best of her ability. They have performed fillings and crowns for me, and they seem very detail oriented and use the latest equipment. And for Dr. Sandhu’s staff, they are a direct reflection of her. I owe a huge debt of gratitude to Dr. Richard Kaufman! My brother is handicapped and has diabetes, so he requires extra care. It is very important that he has a gentle and compassionate dentist who is willing to work with him. Dr. Kaufman is that dentist for us. He is very willing to listen to all of our concerns and does a great job on my brother's dental care. Dr. Kaufman did a great job monitoring my brother's healing process. So far he is healing very well, and there have not been any additional complication. Personally, I've been to seven different dentists in the past 20 years. One of my previous dentists suggested that I have all my teeth pulled and just get dentures. Dr. Kaufman said this was absolutely ridiculous. Dr. Kaufman specializes in implants, so he helps me devise a treatment plan that was a whole lot less drastic. I am highly satisfied with his work and Incredibly grateful that I have found such a wonderful dentist and friend. I’d heard an advertisement on the radio and decided to give Dr. Hassid a shot. The ad said to come in no matter how scared of the dentist you were, and I have an extreme phobia. I needed my teeth cleaned and even some teeth extracted. Dr. Hassid did a double root canal, a couple bridges, and some implants. The receptionist staff was kind and everyone here was very helpful, from the office staff, to the dentist, to the dental assistants. They were all very knowledgeable and friendly. I felt like family coming here, and anyone in the area should check them out.

His staff is full of true professionals, and they’re all kind and knowledgeable. I recently had shoulder surgery and then went into the dentist a couple weeks later. I was so sensitive that even getting slightly bumped in the shoulder would cause severe pain. They really listened to my concern, and never bumped me, even though they were working on me for an hour. I don’t normally write reviews online, but I had such an amazing recent visit at Soft Touch Dental Care in Forest Hills, NY that I wanted to tell people about it. I’m a regular patient at Soft Touch, but I usually only go in for routine cleanings. But this time I was in a lot of pain and needed help. I called on a Tuesday during after-hours and they got me in the next morning at 7:30 a.m.. The staff was very kind and gentle with me. Dr. Normatov has a very comfortable office. She is very caring and kind. I actually fell asleep in the chair, that’s how comfortable I was. She provides excellent care. I have zero pain now, and I didn’t have any pain while she was working on me. I can’t thank Dr. Normatov and her staff enough.

A co-worker recommended Dr. Thomopoulos when I moved to Rego Park in 2017, and I love it there. They truly care about their patients and make sure your comfortable when you’re getting your dental work done. A filling that was less than 6 months old broke one day and I was able to schedule an appointment with them almost immediately. The hygienists are very nice and easy to talk to. The hygienist seems to truly care about my health, she has given me a lot of advice on how to make sure my teeth stay healthy and how to avoid plaque and tartar build up in troublesome areas. Dr. Cosentino is awesome. I left his office feeling happy, and I usually hate the dentist and am never a good patient, especially when I have a toothache. But my time at Dr. Cosentino was the best experience I’ve ever had. Much better than my old dentist in Corona, NY. Everyone here was kind, nice, and very honest with what I needed. I’m no longer afraid of the dentist. This place is affordable too, which is great. They gave me a follow up call and answered all my questions, I can’t thank them enough.

My appointment was with Dr. Isakharov. The office was clean and the staff was very welcoming. I felt they were very thorough and gentle and also very good about educating me on what was happening and how I could care for my gums and teeth better. Dr. Isakharov was friendly and seemed to genuinely care about my dental health. The exam and cleaning wasn’t rushed or pushy. Overall, the experience was excellent and I have had 3 cleanings in total. Highly recommend!

I’m a fairly new patient here, but I already love Dr. Aknouk. I’ve never had to wait, and when I had to bring my kids with me the team loves to keep them busy. Dr. Aknouk is kind and professional. He goes over my options with me going over the pros and cons of the different treatment plans. He also helped me figure out that I am allergic to certain crowns, which helped me get rid of my cold sensitivity. He is affordable and whenever I call about dental problems they’re able to get me in on the same day. I can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you need a dentist in the Bronx.

I can't believe I am writing a review about a dentist. I have always had a dislike for the dentist and was nervous and anxious each time I had a dentist appointment. No longer since going to Queens Central Dental. After visiting several dentists in the Jackson Heights area and not being completely satisfied, I decided to look new options. I went through my insurance, who recommended Queens Central Dental and offered to make an appointment for me. After reading the excellent google reviews, I made the appointment and wow, what a great first impression!! The office is immaculate, the staff is friendly, helpful and takes whatever time is needed to not only explain your benefits but make sure you understand. So far, I have had a cleaning, filling for a giant cavity, and a root canal. Everything was painless, even though I had not been to the dentist for a couple of years - I did not need to use any pain medication (Rx or over the counter). Dr. Ames performed the dental work and was very professional – making me feel at ease, explaining what was being done, and what to expect thereafter. Everyone - front desk, dental hygienist, medical staff and doctors - are great and has made visiting the dentist great!

My daughter and I started going to Dr. Minkowitz in Maspeth a couple months ago. A couple friends recommended them, so I thought we’d give them a shot. We’ve been very satisfied so far. The front office staff is nice and helpful when it comes to scheduling around our busy schedules, billing insurance, and figuring out the headache that is payments. The hygienists always do a great job and give me great tips about my dental health. Dr. Minkowitz is very nice. I’ve gotten a couple crowns and other dental work done by him. It’s really been great. He even offered to give me a new mouth guard without charging me because he thought I might like a thinner one. My 10 year old daughter also loves this place. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

I can’t believe I’m actually looking forward to going back to the dentist in 6 months. I went to Queens Dental Care after receiving a promotional flyer and reading some online reviews. I had an X-ray and comprehensive exam, including a consult with Dr. Sandhu. I received a referral to an oral surgeon and was able to book a cleaning. The hygienist used an anesthetic agent because I have very sensitive gums. The clean, cozy office and kind staff made this place worth the visit. I was also impressed that they have a membership option for patients like me who are without dental insurance. I love Queens Dental Care.

Came in with little to almost no wait time and was able to explain my situation/tooth concerns without feeling uncomfortable. I never once felt judged or pressured into making any decision. it looks like the third time was the charm for me. I had had two other dentists who did a very poor job. That's what I discovered Dr. Murphy through my insurance directory. She performed a root canal procedure for me, and it was painless. She was very patient and did a great job explaining what needed to be done. I greatly appreciated that she was willing to listen to my sob stories about my previous dental experiences and then informed me how to fix the issues. She has a very positive and gentle disposition. She's also good at administering more anesthetic if it is needed. The company that she uses for crowns also does a great job. I had a previous crown that was very poorly made. The quality of this one was significantly better. Plus, it fits much better too. Dr. Murphy genuinely wants to help her patients rather than just help herself by making more money. She doesn't pressure you do you get services you don't really need. If she says you have a cavity, then you actually have a cavity. I love this worry-free environment. Lastly, Dr. Murphy and her team at Radiance Dental have been helping me navigate the maze that is insurance coverage. They deserve all the stars possible!

I've been going to Dr. Borgella for almost a year and I could not be more satisfied. I originally went to them for a second opinion prior to a cap on a tooth cracked during a filling by another dentist. I had been prepared to get a cap, but Dr. Borgella instead repaired the molar. Since then, I've had 6-month check-ups and a few fillings at Dr. Borgella’s office ever since. Chair-side manner could not be better, and the office manager is also a dream... organized and professional. Final award goes to the dental techs... they are very thorough and as pain free as you can get examining teeth. They have all undoubtedly mastered the techniques at Reginald Borgella DDS. Dr. Borgella’s Bronx office has honed both the technical and personal skills needed to make a dental visit amazing.

I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

I am totally satisfied with the way my visit went to Shay Dental. When I went, I was nervous because I hadn’t been to a dentist in almost 15 years. They still made me feel right at home. When I talked to Dr. Shay, I knew I found the right place. He was very knowledgeable and kind and he answered all of my questions. His examination was thorough, and he took the time to give me in-depth explanations. I have been a patient at this practice for a while now, way before Dr. Choi took over the practice. I can honestly say I’m very satisfied with the work she does. She’s very personal, she always remembers what’s going on in her patients’ lives. C K Galdieri has an amazingly friendly staff. Clean and well organized just begin to describe office. Dr. Galdieri did my exam and was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They gave me the REAL truth about my dental health. I'm glad I didn't believe those other frauds in Elmwood Park who claimed I needed $15k worth of work. Dr. Galdieri said I didn't need any of the things that those others said I would need – no upsells, straight forward and incredible service.
