I’m new to Brooklyn and finding a dentist has been overwhelming. Dr. Kalyanaraman was recommended to me by a coworker. I hadn’t had a thorough cleaning in a while, but Dr. Kalyanaraman was very personable and put me at ease. Dr. Kalyanaraman is passionate about his work, and his office and dental staff are as well. The office operates so efficiently, filing the insurance forms electronically and handling all the paperwork:) He is also eco-friendly. I love that!

My daughter and I started going to Dr. Minkowitz in Maspeth a couple months ago. A couple friends recommended them, so I thought we’d give them a shot. We’ve been very satisfied so far. The front office staff is nice and helpful when it comes to scheduling around our busy schedules, billing insurance, and figuring out the headache that is payments. The hygienists always do a great job and give me great tips about my dental health. Dr. Minkowitz is very nice. I’ve gotten a couple crowns and other dental work done by him. It’s really been great. He even offered to give me a new mouth guard without charging me because he thought I might like a thinner one. My 10 year old daughter also loves this place. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

It had been a while since I’d been to the dentist, but I needed to go, so I chose Glendale Dental. Having recently acquired dental insurance, I scheduled a cleaning and X-ray. When I got there, Dr. Cukier was very friendly. I’ve never really taken brushing and flossing seriously, but he helped me understand the importance of it. It was nice to see someone genuinely concerned with my oral health. I was curious about what to do better, and he eagerly provided very helpful advice. I’ll receive a reminder in 6 months when it is time to come back in for another cleaning. It’s very convenient to schedule appointments. Dr. Cukier is a hardworking, high-class professional.

Since I had never had any kind of oral surgery before, I had no clue what to expect when getting my wisdom teeth removed. the staff at Dr. Lerner’s practice were very personable and efficient. The dental assistants put me at ease thanks to their positive attitudes. Dr. Lerner explained the process to me in great detail. He explained that I would need two wisdom teeth removed and said that he could do it that day if I wanted him to. His confidence and reassurance comforted me, and I agreed. He did the procedure in less than an hour, and I didn't experience any pain. I will definitely be going back to Dr. Lerner for all my future dental appointments.

I've been a patient of Dr. Sebold for several years. They treat me as a new valued patient every time I go back. At Dr. Sebold’s office there is never recrimination, no tsk-tsk or making me feel bad for long distances between visits, just a pleasant, professional dental experience. The doctors have recommended treatment plans for complex surgeries, and understand my need to spread the work out to take maximum advantage of my insurance. The Brooklyn office staff will do everything possible to maximize insurance benefits, which is a huge plus for me. I had such a great time at my first appointment with Shay Dental. My check-up and cleaning were with Dr. Shay. I appreciated the time he took to explain the situation with my teeth and gums; he was helpful and knowledgeable. Dr. Shay also took time to explain and give advice on how to approach future dental procedures. The appointment really went smoothly. Finding out I had cavities was really the only bad part of the appointment. But these should be filled up with future appointments. The staff is really helpful and welcoming, and the office here in New York is clean and very nice.

This is my second trip to Armstrong Dental Studio for more than just a regular cleaning. This time I had a root canal and crown done on the same tooth, but no worries, it was completely pain free! They all did great checking up on me, even Dr. Armstrong himself called me the next day. He was awesome about checking on how I was doing during the entire process. I’m very fortunate to have discovered Dr. Sandhu and Queens Dental Care. I’ve been to 3 dental offices in 3 years, but I’ve found my dental home. The first dentist I went to chipped my tooth during a cleaning and wouldn’t even admit it. I didn’t even know he’d chipped my front tooth until I got to my car. I went back in, and he fixed it, but that fix recently fell off. Other places charged way too much to fix it. I went to Queens Dental Care. The entire staff was kind, informative, and helpful. They are also very affordable. I’m a hairstylist, so I appreciate other “artist.” Dr. Sandhu is one such artist. I said the fixed tooth was beautiful. She and I are both proud of her work. This dentist office in the Upper West Side, Manhattan was right down the street from my office, and so I started going here about 3 months ago. Smile by Choice is very high quality dentistry in New York, NY. They have vaulted ceilings that let in natural light, the latest and greatest in technology, and an awesome staff that is very nice and easy to talk to. Going to the dentist can often seem like a chore, but this class makes it easy and even dare I say enjoyable. You’ll always feel like you got the best cleaning here, which is often not the case. And it’s never painful. Scraping tools can often be unpleasant, but they use an ultrasonic cleaning method that is very calming. They even give you a warm towel when you’re done with your cleaning, which seemed very first class to me!

A co-worker recommended Dr. Thomopoulos when I moved to Rego Park in 2017, and I love it there. They truly care about their patients and make sure your comfortable when you’re getting your dental work done. A filling that was less than 6 months old broke one day and I was able to schedule an appointment with them almost immediately. The hygienists are very nice and easy to talk to. The hygienist seems to truly care about my health, she has given me a lot of advice on how to make sure my teeth stay healthy and how to avoid plaque and tartar build up in troublesome areas. My son had no idea he received the numbing shot thanks to the doc giving him numbing gel first and being very discreet with the needle. I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

I was so sensitive that even getting slightly bumped in the shoulder would cause severe pain. They really listened to my concern, and never bumped me, even though they were working on me for an hour. The wait time is never long here, and they use the newest and greatest dental technology. This place is awesome, I always feel comfortable when I’m here. The entire staff and Dr. Aknouk are great. You can really tell they love their jobs. I’ve had Dr. Aknouk put in my gold inlay replaced my old silver fillings with porcelain computer-made filling. They’re both very friendly. I had an emergency a couple months ago when my daughter had her front tooth knocked out and Dr. Aknouk came in on his day off to do a root canal on her. This clinic is wonderful, I would highly recommend it and won’t be going anywhere else.

She examined my broken crown and told me the process it would take to replace it, and the price to do so post insurance. I was shocked that it wasn’t much more. During the entire process of the exam, cleaning, a filling or two, and the repaired crown, I felt no pain whatsoever. This clinic seems entirely dedicated to customer service. After I left there, I felt relieved to have come across Dr. Sandhu, and I got the dental care I needed. I will continue to go to this clinic for my checkups and cleanings. For as much time Dr. Sandhu is at this clinic, I will be a patient here.

I’ve only been here for a checkup but I’m already very impressed with Big Apple Dental. I was running late, so they only had time for the checkup and told me to come back for the cleaning, but I still can’t believe how caring they were, they really took time to listen to my questions and concerns. The dentist in Wyandanch was very thorough when he went through my x-rays, he explained everything that was going on with my mouth. The hygienist was great too, he went through everything with me, and especially explained the effects of my teeth grinding to me. I never knew I grind my teeth at night, but it helped me realize the cause of a lot of the issues I was having with my teeth. The staff could tell I was anxious so they tried to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. Everyone there was very detail oriented and caring. I love this place, and I am actually looking forward to going back, which is weird to say about the dentist.
