I have braces, so she discussed, in detail, how to properly brush, which I had not previously been informed of. She then gave me this cream for the demineralization of my teeth due to my braces. I left with a little dental care package. Thankfully, I didn’t need any additional work done besides the cleaning, but this will be my dentist from now on. I’m terrified of the dentist, so I’d rather do just about anything else. Though I still don’t like going to my dental visits, Everlasting Smiles Dental is the best dentist near me, and I’ve been to a lot of them! In my previous experiences, I either discovered a fantastic staff with a horrible dentist or a great dentist with a terrible hygienist and office staff who made you feel like a burden. But Dr. Afridi’s dental practice is the best of both worlds. The staff is so friendly and kind, and the super-professional hygienists put your comfort first. The receptionist/bookkeeper always helps me navigate my insurance and what I owe as well as scheduling appointments. All the great reviews are true. Though I did wait a little bit, I’ve had to wait longer at other places, and I guarantee they only made me wait because patients weren’t coming in on time, which will push back all the other appointments after it. Or maybe Dr. Afridi was tending to an emergency and wanted to make sure his patient was being taken care of. I would happily wait a long time if needed just to get the high level of service and dental care this place has to offer, knowing that once I get in the dental chair, they won’t rush me out to keep on schedule. I was having some tooth pain, so I needed to go see Dr. Kaufman. My appointment was at 3 p.m., and I was seen in less than 15 minutes. The assistant was incredibly personable and very helpful in showing me the correct way to floss and how to prevent my gums from bleeding. Dr. Kaufman and the ortho specialist were both great. They answered all my questions and took the time to find out exactly what the source of my pain was. I am so thrilled to have found this office.

I’m a fairly new patient here, but I already love Dr. Aknouk. I’ve never had to wait, and when I had to bring my kids with me the team loves to keep them busy. Dr. Aknouk is kind and professional. He goes over my options with me going over the pros and cons of the different treatment plans. He also helped me figure out that I am allergic to certain crowns, which helped me get rid of my cold sensitivity. My appointment was with Dr. Isakharov. The office was clean and the staff was very welcoming. I felt they were very thorough and gentle and also very good about educating me on what was happening and how I could care for my gums and teeth better. Dr. Isakharov was friendly and seemed to genuinely care about my dental health. The exam and cleaning wasn’t rushed or pushy. Overall, the experience was excellent and I have had 3 cleanings in total. Highly recommend!

I’ve only been here for a checkup but I’m already very impressed with Big Apple Dental. I was running late, so they only had time for the checkup and told me to come back for the cleaning, but I still can’t believe how caring they were, they really took time to listen to my questions and concerns. The dentist in Wyandanch was very thorough when he went through my x-rays, he explained everything that was going on with my mouth. The hygienist was great too, he went through everything with me, and especially explained the effects of my teeth grinding to me. I never knew I grind my teeth at night, but it helped me realize the cause of a lot of the issues I was having with my teeth. The staff could tell I was anxious so they tried to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. Everyone there was very detail oriented and caring. I love this place, and I am actually looking forward to going back, which is weird to say about the dentist.

A co-worker recommended Dr. Thomopoulos when I moved to Rego Park in 2017, and I love it there. They truly care about their patients and make sure your comfortable when you’re getting your dental work done. A filling that was less than 6 months old broke one day and I was able to schedule an appointment with them almost immediately. The hygienists are very nice and easy to talk to. The hygienist seems to truly care about my health, she has given me a lot of advice on how to make sure my teeth stay healthy and how to avoid plaque and tartar build up in troublesome areas. I've been going to Dr. Borgella for almost a year and I could not be more satisfied. I originally went to them for a second opinion prior to a cap on a tooth cracked during a filling by another dentist. I had been prepared to get a cap, but Dr. Borgella instead repaired the molar. Since then, I've had 6-month check-ups and a few fillings at Dr. Borgella’s office ever since. Chair-side manner could not be better, and the office manager is also a dream... organized and professional. A co-worker recommended Dr. Yakobashvili and now I’ve been to only him for three years. Everyone who works here, and them, are kind and caring. I usually hate going to the dentist, but I don’t mind it now. Dr. Yakobashvili recently filled a cavity for me and it went great. They listened to my concerns when I told them that the numbing shot doesn’t work that well on me and that they would need to give the most they possibly could. I’m so glad I didn’t feel a thing. They gave me a blanket because I was cold, which I was very thankful for and nitrous oxide since it was my first time getting a cavity filled. I don’t know which helped more, the nitrous oxide or the deep breaths, but I left feeling very satisfied. I’m probably paying more than what I could be at some other place, but you really do get quality service here. Going cheap in the past didn’t work out for me.

Dr. Wert is a great dentist in Washington Heights, NY. Everyone here, from the receptionist to the hygienist, is kind and easy to talk to. My appointment went longer than expected, but I didn’t mind because it gave me time to meet the staff and understand what they do in the office thoroughly. Dr. Wert listened to my questions and concerns, and he answered them thoroughly. He has a relaxed attitude, which I loved. The office is brand-new and has the latest and greatest in technology. You get to see your x-rays right way on a flat screen monitor from the dental chair. Dr. Wert spoke to me honestly and told me I need to floss more, which is something I already knew. The hygienist was also great, and I just had overall wonderful service. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m actually looking forward to my next appointment.

I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

I love Armstrong Dental Studio. The team is very friendly, and Armstrong is well-informed, polite, and caring. I stayed at the Armstrong Dental Center even after moving away from New York, although the drive is much further away. I'd recommend his dentistry absolutely.

Dr. Shay of Shay Dental was expertly able to match the color and structure of my new tooth, while allowing plenty of floss clearance. It feels and fits great. There was almost no discomfort through the procedure, and though it felt a bit tight at first, it’s settled in and I don’t even notice it now. His professional work allowed me to be presentable in time for an important family event here in New York. His staff members were helpful and friendly too. Thanks for the job well done.

I have been a patient at this practice for a while now, way before Dr. Choi took over the practice. I can honestly say I’m very satisfied with the work she does. She’s very personal, she always remembers what’s going on in her patients’ lives. She recommended Invisalign for me, and she was a great help with that, along with all the regular cleanings and fillings she’s done for me. Dr. Lerner is the best dentist I could ever ask for! Initially, I went to Dr. Lerner for an impacted wisdom tooth extraction. Using local anesthesia, he removed two of my wisdom teeth while I was still awake. He also let me request the music I listened to during the procedure. I chose some rock music that he also enjoyed! I didn't have any pain during or after the surgery. I didn't even need to take any pain medication! I did take one over-the-counter pain killer after the procedure, just in case, but I didn't have any swelling or complications. I was even able to go back to my regular eating habits within 24 hours of the surgery. Dr. Lerner is an absolute genius when it comes to dentistry. His staff is equally as awesome. The receptionist welcomes patients in a way that makes them feel important. The prices were very fair, especially given the exceptional performance. Thank you Dr. Lerner and team for the best possible wisdom tooth extraction experience I could have asked for.

I came to Dr. Sebold for a quick cleaning and check-up. The hygienist, is wonderful; she's gentle but thorough, skilled, and fast. She's friendly, knowledgeable about what she does, and attentive to questions you have. I spoke with Dr. Sebold after my exam. From our conversation, I could tell there are clearly very high standards for everyone at Sebold DDS. I was put at ease by this honesty and professionalism. All of the staff were happy to explain the reasoning behind their recommendations, listened to my concerns, and worked with me to find the right fit for treatment. I got the sense that Dr. Sebold DDS genuinely cares about each of their patients. I'm definitely recommending Dr. Sebold to friends and family. A couple of additional notes - 1. Dr. Sebold has one of the most well-stocked and comfortable waiting rooms I've ever been in! I'm actually looking forward to waiting before my next visit to the office! Although, the wait times are very short. 2. The front staff are friendly, polite, and well organized! I had to call a couple of times before my appointment because I was running late and my GPS died before I found the Brooklyn office. No problem though, the front desk was very helpful and happy to assist!

I cannot say enough about Dr. Ghaffari and her entire staff at Unique Family Dentistry. I’m not from Elizabeth, NJ and I was in the area visiting family when I suddenly had a severe toothache. I checked out some online reviews and found this clinic nearby. My first appointment, Dr. Ghaffari, and a few staff members worked for hours to figure out what the pain is and fixed the issue. Unfortunately, further visits were needed to due to additional issues, but every appointment went by smoothly with a high level of care, and mostly pain-free. This was the first time in my life that I experienced a pain-free root canal. I have relatively sensitive teeth due to grinding, and it was great to have an empathetic dentist like Dr. Ghaffari that understands how to prevent pain during these procedures. And I do appreciate that they took the time to identify the problem before jumping in head first with a drill. Thank you to the entire staff at Unique Family Dentistry that went above and beyond to assist me in my time of need. The excellent support staff there put everything through to my insurance with provided me with a minimal hit in the wallet. Everything at this dental clinic is run like a finely-tuned machine. I don’t live here, but I am seriously considering visiting regularly enough to make them my regular dental office.
