I have been really impressed with Dr. Kalyanaraman at G.K. Raman DDS, and I just can’t believe the couple of reviews that are negative. This is an incredibly busy dental office that’s always packed with patients. Dr. Kalyanaraman and his staff work so hard to accommodate everyone’s needs--I guess you just can’t please everyone. Dr. Kalyanaraman is very skilled, and his staff is very pleasant. The prices are affordable, too. I’ve introduced my friends’ kids to this place, and they absolutely love Dr. Kalyanaraman. He’s seen hundreds of patients, and his skills are outstanding.

I had terrible tooth pain, and my left cheek swelled up. It was seriously the size of a softball. I’ve had bad past experiences, so it took a lot of pain for me to be willing to do in. I found Grand Smile Dentist by searching the yellow pages. Everything about the appointment was smooth from the start. Dr. Panev told me that I had a severe infection in my tooth that went all the way down to the gum. I had already had a root canal done by my previous dentist. I didn’t want to go through that ordeal with the same tooth, so I decided to have it removed. I assumed an implant would be cheaper in the long run. Dr. Panev helped me relax during the whole appointment. I told him I was pretty afraid of dentists, so he trod very lightly. He gave me frequent updates throughout the process and made sure I was comfortable. I don’t have dental phobia anymore, and Dr. Panev had gained a new regular patient.

I am thrilled to have found Dr. Lerner's practice. My wife was suffering due to an impacted wisdom tooth and needed it extracted immediately. We had been looking for a New York based dentist/oral surgeon for quite some time but had been unimpressed with those that had offered us a consult. Then we met Dr. Lerner. He was able to fit her into his schedule with very little notice and removed her wisdom tooth. It was a painless process for her--just x-rays, a couple of shots, and a little bit of pressure. We were on our way home in less than an hour. Seeing how well she was treated inspired me to have my own work done. I made an appointment to fix a chipped tooth/implant. We can’t thank Dr. Lerner and his staff enough.

I love Dr. Minkowitz. I’ve gotten a cleaning and a cavity checkup done here. My teeth look great. They do allow walk-ins and they have business hours that work with my busy schedule so that I could come in at 6pm after work. I saw him because my other dentist said I needed to wait a week for an appointment. I could tell they cared about me and my condition, and they saw me within 15 minutes. They made a great first impression on me with their attentiveness and caring. Even though I’ve moved away from New York since then, I always travel to this dentist office. I adore the staff there. Even my 12 year old daughter loves this office. This office is great at cleaning kid’s teeth and other parents notice.

For those in the Rego Park area in search of a dentist, you can officially stop your search and call Dr. Azbel. I’m thrilled with the level of care I received from Lucky Dental. The receptionist is highly professional and very accommodating. Dr. Azbel is the best dentist in New York. He goes out of his way to make sure you’re comfortable. He has a great personality too. I love that he explains everything in a detailed manner so that you feel like you really know what is going on. He is also quick to answer any questions you have about the procedure or your overall dental health. I highly recommend this practice.

If I could give more than 5 stars for this place, I would. This Rego Park dentist office is beautiful. The staff is very kind and professional. You won’t have to worry about your insurance or dental plans here. This place is almost like a spa, they have wax-hand dipped warming gloves and blankets for if their patients get cold. The dental hygienists are very friendly. Dr. Thomopoulos was great, she was thorough during my exam and took some photos so I could see the fillings I had before, but also a new cavity. She was willing to go through all my questions and was very careful with my teeth. I always hated going to the dentist, but now I feel completely at ease with Dr. Thomopoulos, she made me feel like I wasn’t just another patient, but rather a human being. I’ve referred her to everyone I know. I am a big fan of chapstick, and the free chapsticks here are awesome. Just another reason this place is awesome!

I really needed a new dentist when I found this place, I took a chance and I’m so glad I did. The office is spotless and organized. It is small, but I don’t mind that. They treat you like an individual here, and they aren’t worried about treating as many patients as possible. They treat you like a human being. The front office staff is helpful and nice. They will call you to remind you about your upcoming appointment and will even do a follow-up call a couple days after your appointment. Dr. Normatov is awesome. I came in for a deep cleaning and a checkup and she was very professional and easy to talk to, which made me feel comfortable and satisfied with the service I received. She did the cleaning herself, which is something I wasn’t expecting. We even got to talk about food. Again, she’s easy to talk to and really knows her stuff. I’m actually excited to go back and see her.

Dr. Cosentino is awesome. I left his office feeling happy, and I usually hate the dentist and am never a good patient, especially when I have a toothache. I was referred to Dr. Amir by another teacher I work with. I was a little apprehensive about going, but she's been going here for a while and loves it. I was worried about scheduling the appointment around school hours, but they assured me they are good at maintaining their schedule and I would be in and out in one hour or less. No kidding! I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

The wait time is never long here, and they use the newest and greatest dental technology. I’m a fairly new patient here, but I already love Dr. Aknouk. I’ve never had to wait, and when I had to bring my kids with me the team loves to keep them busy. Dr. Aknouk is kind and professional. He goes over my options with me going over the pros and cons of the different treatment plans. He also helped me figure out that I am allergic to certain crowns, which helped me get rid of my cold sensitivity. He is affordable and whenever I call about dental problems they’re able to get me in on the same day. I can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you need a dentist in the Bronx.

My old dentist in Oakland Gardens retired and it has been a while since I saw anyone else. Dr. Bieber is my new dentist, but it’s still the same kind of staff and hygienists. Dr. Borgella simply went above and beyond, they are that amazing. Boy have I learned a lot about other dental offices in the Bronx region. After going to several other dental offices in 2016 I vowed to change my insurance back just so that I could come back to Reginald Borgella DDS and it was the best decision ever. Their staff is professional, kind, informed, and friendly. They know what they're doing and are honest about what's going on with your dental health. As a great example, the dental office I went to three months ago told me I had 4 cavities that needed fillings; here I was told that I only had 2 small ones. I just got back from filling those 2, without lidocaine and without pain! A seamless experience - I was in and out of there in less than 30 minutes. Dr. Borgella is the dentist you want to go to. Where the other dentists just wanted to slap on a nightguard, they did a thorough assessment and showed me better options, even figuring out the main cause of my tmj, that other dentists/orthodontists didn't realize before. Making appointments at Dr. Borgella’s is a breeze and those staff at the front desk are so great. Everyone working here makes you feel cared for and truly does what they can to make you comfortable. The waiting room is also super comfy and relaxed.

Dr. Rosen in Cedarhurst, NY is such an incredible dentist. And all of my experiences with his hygienists have been spectacular, they clean your teeth better than I have ever experienced. They are very thorough, and so friendly that you are saddened when it's over. The staff as a whole are so genuine, and they know you by name. If you give this dentist office a chance, you will not be disappointed. There aren't enough stars to give this dental clinic.

I’d heard an advertisement on the radio and decided to give Dr. Hassid a shot. The ad said to come in no matter how scared of the dentist you were, and I have an extreme phobia. I needed my teeth cleaned and even some teeth extracted. Dr. Hassid did a double root canal, a couple bridges, and some implants. The receptionist staff was kind and everyone here was very helpful, from the office staff, to the dentist, to the dental assistants. They were all very knowledgeable and friendly. I felt like family coming here, and anyone in the area should check them out.

I love the beautiful office and awesome staff. The hygienists are gentle when cleaning. Dr. Kaminsky and his staff pay attention to detail, which some dental practices seem to forget. For example, they remind you about your appointments in advance and don’t make you spend an eternity in the waiting room. While they do offer cosmetic services (whitening, straightening, even an oral cancer screening,) they don’t bother you if you decline.

I was running late, so they only had time for the checkup and told me to come back for the cleaning, but I still can’t believe how caring they were, they really took time to listen to my questions and concerns. The dentist in Wyandanch was very thorough when he went through my x-rays, he explained everything that was going on with my mouth. The hygienist was great too, he went through everything with me, and especially explained the effects of my teeth grinding to me. I never knew I grind my teeth at night, but it helped me realize the cause of a lot of the issues I was having with my teeth. The staff could tell I was anxious so they tried to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. Everyone there was very detail oriented and caring. I love this place, and I am actually looking forward to going back, which is weird to say about the dentist.

After being fed up with my old dental practice, I came across K Dental Smiles in Freehold, NJ. I’ve had a lot of bad dental experiences in the past. Many dentists broke my trust and made me cry. I kept waiting for them to mess up or say something to trigger me, but they never did! Now, I actually get excited to see Dr. Khetani. They take care of you every step of the way and make sure you feel at ease. If you are nervous, they’ll do everything to turn that around. Thank you Dr. Khetani and staff! As long as I live in Freehold, I’ll keep going here, and if I have to move, I will somehow find a way back to this dentist office!
