But Dr. Afridi’s dental practice is the best of both worlds. The staff is so friendly and kind, and the super-professional hygienists put your comfort first. The receptionist/bookkeeper always helps me navigate my insurance and what I owe as well as scheduling appointments. All the great reviews are true. Though I did wait a little bit, I’ve had to wait longer at other places, and I guarantee they only made me wait because patients weren’t coming in on time, which will push back all the other appointments after it. Or maybe Dr. Afridi was tending to an emergency and wanted to make sure his patient was being taken care of. I would happily wait a long time if needed just to get the high level of service and dental care this place has to offer, knowing that once I get in the dental chair, they won’t rush me out to keep on schedule. I ended up back the next day to finish up the work. My tooth is fixed and looks exactly like its counterparts, and it was so affordable. I came in for a deep cleaning and a checkup and she was very professional and easy to talk to, which made me feel comfortable and satisfied with the service I received. She did the cleaning herself, which is something I wasn’t expecting. We even got to talk about food. Again, she’s easy to talk to and really knows her stuff. I’m actually excited to go back and see her.

Dr. Cosentino is awesome. I left his office feeling happy, and I usually hate the dentist and am never a good patient, especially when I have a toothache. But my time at Dr. Cosentino was the best experience I’ve ever had. Much better than my old dentist in Corona, NY. Everyone here was kind, nice, and very honest with what I needed. I’m no longer afraid of the dentist. This place is affordable too, which is great. They gave me a follow up call and answered all my questions, I can’t thank them enough.

My first visit to Elite Dental was an emergency. My partially erupted wisdom tooth had swelled the whole right side of my face. Ugh! I was miserable and scared. I had no idea how my appointment would go when I walked in, but I was very pleasantly Surprised. I’m a fairly new patient here, but I already love Dr. Aknouk. I’ve never had to wait, and when I had to bring my kids with me the team loves to keep them busy. Dr. Aknouk is kind and professional. He goes over my options with me going over the pros and cons of the different treatment plans. He also helped me figure out that I am allergic to certain crowns, which helped me get rid of my cold sensitivity. He is affordable and whenever I call about dental problems they’re able to get me in on the same day. I can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you need a dentist in the Bronx.

About 6 months ago, I developed an issue with my gums. I went to Dr. Azbel to have him look at it. I got the recommended deep cleaning, which took two sessions and numbing. It was wonderful. The whole staff is really friendly and inviting. To be honest, the deep cleaning sessions were a bit time consuming, but they let you watch Netflix, so it’s not too bad. They do a good job of informing patients and making sure their patients are comfortable. It was nice to understand each step of the process. They also give informative tips but don’t lecture you about your oral health. Overall, it’s good customer service, which is really hard to find in a dentist nowadays. I highly recommend Lucky Dental.

I’m very fortunate to have discovered Dr. Sandhu and Queens Dental Care. I’ve been to 3 dental offices in 3 years, but I’ve found my dental home. I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

My family and I have finally found a great dentist here in Medford. We have been coming to see Dr. Frank Perry for years now and have only received the absolute best dental care. Dr. Perry is wise in his ways, very knowledgeable and polite. The staff are all very friendly. They work very carefully with me because they know I have terribly sensitive teeth. They have vaulted ceilings that let in natural light, the latest and greatest in technology, and an awesome staff that is very nice and easy to talk to. Going to the dentist can often seem like a chore, but this class makes it easy and even dare I say enjoyable. You’ll always feel like you got the best cleaning here, which is often not the case. And it’s never painful. Scraping tools can often be unpleasant, but they use an ultrasonic cleaning method that is very calming. They even give you a warm towel when you’re done with your cleaning, which seemed very first class to me!

This weekend my boyfriend cracked a tooth and was in a lot of pain. He also works a lot of overtime, so he really needed to get it fixed right away. Dr. Kalyanaraman came in on a holiday to take care of him! My boyfriend wasn’t even his patient at the time. We will, however, make sure that our family goes to his dental office from now on. He’s wonderful, kind, and compassionate. We are so grateful to have found this practice!

My aunt referred me to Dr. Lerner’s practice. I'd been in pain for over a month, so it was a relief to learn that they could schedule me for an appointment the very next day. When I arrived, the staff greeted me very pleasantly. I barely waited 5 minutes before being taken back to get worked on; however, they apologized profusely for being “late.” After getting x-rays taken, I met Dr. Lerner, who was very understanding of my dental anxiety. He kept me very comfortable during the exam. I went back the following week for a root canal, which was painless. Although Dr. Lerner said that it was possible I would have pain the next day, I didn't feel a thing. I will be going in for another appointment later this week, and surprisingly, I’m not anxious. That’s a first. I have since referred multiple friends to Dr. Lerner's office. It's only fair to tell others about the great customer service.

I can't recommend Dr. Galdieri enough. They are such an incredible talent who is capable, professional and takes pride in all procedures. C K Galdieri replaced one of my teeth with an implant and did a great job. These implants are typically designed to last a lifetime and they treated the entire process as though he were replacing the tooth of their own local Elmwood Park family member. Dr. Galdieri and the entire C K Galdieri staff are awesome!
