Thinking of mothers when I say that although strollers are probably welcome. I would recommend not bringing it, but that's just my two cents. The waiting room was great though! There's nothing like a great Dentist, and Dr. Borgella is the best. This place is amazing!

This place is awesome, I always feel comfortable when I’m here. The entire staff and Dr. Aknouk are great. You can really tell they love their jobs. I’ve had Dr. Aknouk put in my gold inlay replaced my old silver fillings with porcelain computer-made filling. They’re both very friendly. I had an emergency a couple months ago when my daughter had her front tooth knocked out and Dr. Aknouk came in on his day off to do a root canal on her. This clinic is wonderful, I would highly recommend it and won’t be going anywhere else.

Dr. Wert is a great dentist in Washington Heights, NY. Everyone here, from the receptionist to the hygienist, is kind and easy to talk to. My appointment went longer than expected, but I didn’t mind because it gave me time to meet the staff and understand what they do in the office thoroughly. Dr. Wert listened to my questions and concerns, and he answered them thoroughly. He has a relaxed attitude, which I loved. The office is brand-new and has the latest and greatest in technology. You get to see your x-rays right way on a flat screen monitor from the dental chair. Dr. Wert spoke to me honestly and told me I need to floss more, which is something I already knew. The hygienist was also great, and I just had overall wonderful service. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m actually looking forward to my next appointment.

I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

He also takes the time to explain exactly what’s going on with each procedure so that you feel at ease. He answers all your questions. I appreciate that he truly cares. He doesn’t just pop in to say hello and then leave. More than that, his staff is friendly and also treats you like you’ve been a lifelong patient even if it’s your first visit. I have zero pain now, and I didn’t have any pain while she was working on me. I can’t thank Dr. Normatov and her staff enough.

We’ve never had to wait long to get in and while everything is done thoroughly and efficiently, it’s also quick. We’ve even been in and out in less than 35 minutes for a regular cleaning and x-ray session. We both really like Dr. Isakharov.

The studio is well-kept and up-to-date, the workers are friendly and welcoming, and the work itself is perfect.

You won’t have to worry about your insurance or dental plans here. This place is almost like a spa, they have wax-hand dipped warming gloves and blankets for if their patients get cold. The dental hygienists are very friendly. Dr. Thomopoulos was great, she was thorough during my exam and took some photos so I could see the fillings I had before, but also a new cavity. She was willing to go through all my questions and was very careful with my teeth. I always hated going to the dentist, but now I feel completely at ease with Dr. Thomopoulos, she made me feel like I wasn’t just another patient, but rather a human being. I’ve referred her to everyone I know. I am a big fan of chapstick, and the free chapsticks here are awesome. Just another reason this place is awesome!

My daughter and I started going to Dr. Minkowitz in Maspeth a couple months ago. A couple friends recommended them, so I thought we’d give them a shot. We’ve been very satisfied so far. He even offered to give me a new mouth guard without charging me because he thought I might like a thinner one. My 10 year old daughter also loves this place. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

I recently called Dr. Lerner's office, and the receptionist helped us find another practice that could accommodate my sister's dental needs and insurance information on such short notice. The receptionist could have just hung up the phone after telling us that they couldn't take her on as a patient at that time, but instead, she was incredibly helpful and understanding. Even though my sister and I aren't patients there at this current time, it felt like we were because of the kindness that we received.

I’d been struggling with a very painful infected tooth for multiple days. A good friend of mine recommended Dr. Cukier. I called the office earlier that morning and was able to be seen in less than an hour. The staff was polite, kind, and professional. They did an X-ray and consulted with me, showing me my X-rays and how the infection had spread. Dr. Cukier prescribed an antibiotic and painkiller. He sent me home to rest, and I went back a week later to have the tooth worked on. Dr. Cukier had a wonderful attitude. He was so friendly and professional. Dr. Shahin was very personable and took care of my issue efficiently. He is very friendly and professional and I would definitely return. His dental assistant is also very pleasant. I was not greeted warmly, the young lady exhibited no customer service skills at all. She was not pleasant, no smile at all. Just kind of stared at me for a few before I said " good morning". With some proper training, this can all be turned around.

I’ve only been here for a checkup but I’m already very impressed with Big Apple Dental. I was running late, so they only had time for the checkup and told me to come back for the cleaning, but I still can’t believe how caring they were, they really took time to listen to my questions and concerns. The dentist in Wyandanch was very thorough when he went through my x-rays, he explained everything that was going on with my mouth. The hygienist was great too, he went through everything with me, and especially explained the effects of my teeth grinding to me. I never knew I grind my teeth at night, but it helped me realize the cause of a lot of the issues I was having with my teeth. The staff could tell I was anxious so they tried to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. Everyone there was very detail oriented and caring. I love this place, and I am actually looking forward to going back, which is weird to say about the dentist.
