I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

I can’t say enough good things about Smile by Choice. They do great work and are great people. This dentist office in the Upper West Side, Manhattan was right down the street from my office, and so I started going here about 3 months ago. I now work downtown Manhattan, but I still come here for the great dental service. I love going to my cleanings twice a year. I’ve never missed a dental appointment. And it’s never painful. Scraping tools can often be unpleasant, but they use an ultrasonic cleaning method that is very calming. They even give you a warm towel when you’re done with your cleaning, which seemed very first class to me!

Dr. Shay and all of his support staff are extremely diligent with the exam and talk you through the entire process. It’s nice to know what’s going on when you’re sitting in their chair. I went to Dr. Lerner's office for a check-up, cleaning, and filling. It was the best dental experience I've had to date. I don't usually write online reviews, and I never expected to write a review of a dental office, especially considering I am not exactly a fan of dentists. But, I have to give credit where credit is due. Dr. Lerner told me that I would be pain-free during the procedure, and he was right. He and his team are incredible. They gave me great customer service and helped deal with all the logistics of my situation. I’m a fairly new patient here, but I already love Dr. Aknouk. I’ve never had to wait, and when I had to bring my kids with me the team loves to keep them busy. Dr. Aknouk is kind and professional. He goes over my options with me going over the pros and cons of the different treatment plans. He also helped me figure out that I am allergic to certain crowns, which helped me get rid of my cold sensitivity. He is affordable and whenever I call about dental problems they’re able to get me in on the same day. I can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you need a dentist in the Bronx.

I had a very positive experience with Dr. Sandhu at Queens Dental Care. The staff was very welcoming and sweet, and Dr. Sandhu was very thorough with her examination. I really needed a new dentist when I found this place, I took a chance and I’m so glad I did. The office is spotless and organized. It is small, but I don’t mind that. Back in September I was in between jobs and could not afford dental insurance in Levittown. Dr. Mekawy and their staff gave me information on a dental plan for people who can’t normally afford dental care. That’s just how awesome they are. I went in thinking I had two cavities that needed to be filled. I was in a little bit of pain because of them. I explained what had been going on and gave her a document that my primary dentist in Levittown had given me, which said what dental work I needed. Because of this payment plan, I am now able to afford the dental work that needs to be done that otherwise I could not afford it.

My husband and I started going to Dr. Mangiaracina after moving to Merrick, NY from another state. Initially, we chose this practice because they were PPO with our dental plan. We’ve had incredible service since our first appointment. The service has been great. Appointments are on time and never canceled. I just had a wonderful experience at Albert A. Khalil DDS in South River, NJ. I accidentally chipped two of my teeth late last night, so I called them this morning. They said they didn’t have any appointments but said they’d ask Dr. Khalil if he could fit me in somehow. A couple of hours after that, they called back and said they could see me between appointments. Dr. Khalil and his staff were very inviting and competent. I got out of there in less an hour, and I only paid $350, which I thought was very little because I have awful dental coverage. I’m so happy with the experience, and my teeth look great! Hopefully, the work he did lasts a long time.
