I brought my 5 year old to this dentist in Harlem. I wanted her to go to a non-pediatric only dentist because pediatric dentists often use unnecessary medication for a simple teeth cleaning. I was nervous about how my son would do, so we watched fun Youtube videos showing kids going to the dentist and tooth cartoons. He was prepared and felt comfortable because of it, which was great because that meant no tantrum. I gave him some background info and it made him feel like a big boy, and the awesome dental hygienist helped me with that goal. She was very kind and gentle with my son. She showed him all the tools she was going to use, which made things easy. This place is truly the best. The other assistant and the dentist were great as well, My son listened to the assistants because they were all so nice. It was a great, easy experience. I can’t thank them enough. The front desk ladies were great as well, they were very kind and made my son feel great. They even gave him a balloon with his goodie bag, and when it popped they gave him 2 more and comforted him.

I have been a patient at this practice for a while now, way before Dr. Choi took over the practice. I can honestly say I’m very satisfied with the work she does. She’s very personal, she always remembers what’s going on in her patients’ lives. She recommended Invisalign for me, and she was a great help with that, along with all the regular cleanings and fillings she’s done for me. The clinic’s staff and Dr. Choi are very knowledgeable and friendly. They’re always on time and keep billing matters simple. When I had a toothache 2 years they were able to see me right away. I went to Armstrong Dental Studio first thing in the morning and they took care of everything, even though he didn't have an appointment until the night before. They are so courteous and caring. We always have an amazing visit and always looking forward to the next time. Dr. Armstrong always seems so happy to see us and takes time to ask about how things are going. The front desk team is always very friendly and I have no clue how they remember all of our names. It just shows their dedication to customer service. I soooo adore this place!!! Dr. Shay of Shay Dental was expertly able to match the color and structure of my new tooth, while allowing plenty of floss clearance. It feels and fits great. There was almost no discomfort through the procedure, and though it felt a bit tight at first, it’s settled in and I don’t even notice it now. I did my research and got quotes from multiple local dentists. When calling a dentist, you can get a true feel for the atmosphere in the office. This is especially true if you tell them up front that you don't have insurance. The X-ray, teeth cleaning, and crown sizing experience was very prompt and painless. The crown setting process was also very efficient and painless. I found the staff to be incredibly personable and helpful. I will be recommending Dr. Lerner to all my friends who have also been putting off going to the dentist.

Dr. Shahin was very personable and took care of my issue efficiently. He is very friendly and professional and I would definitely return. His dental assistant is also very pleasant. The young woman who does the x-rays, very warm and greeted me as soon as she walked in the office. What does need help however; is the front desk staff. I was not greeted warmly, the young lady exhibited no customer service skills at all. She was not pleasant, no smile at all. Just kind of stared at me for a few before I said " good morning". With some proper training, this can all be turned around.

The experience I had at Dr. Kalyanaraman at G.K. Raman DDS was the smoothest experience I’ve ever had at a dental office. Going to the dentist isn’t the most fun thing to do, but at G. K. Raman DDS, it’s seamless. They accommodated my very busy schedule, electronically completed and filed the forms, and handled the entire experience so that it was almost enjoyable. The office staff conveniently sent me a detailed plan/quote of the work to be done in advance of the appointment. The waiting area is very comfortable and relaxing, and the pleasant experience continues while having dental work done. I have never had a dentist appointment that went so well. I highly recommend G. Back in September I was in between jobs and could not afford dental insurance in Levittown. Dr. Mekawy and their staff gave me information on a dental plan for people who can’t normally afford dental care. That’s just how awesome they are. I went in thinking I had two cavities that needed to be filled. I was in a little bit of pain because of them. I explained what had been going on and gave her a document that my primary dentist in Levittown had given me, which said what dental work I needed. Because of this payment plan, I am now able to afford the dental work that needs to be done that otherwise I could not afford it.
